Hogwarts: I am the White Demon King

#153 - Chapter 153 Don’t Come to My Store

"We're here."

Sebastian waved his wand, and the wizards floating behind him fell down, neatly arranged beside the entrance of the antique shop.

To prevent some mentally unstable fellows from jumping out to defend these guys and slowing down their pace,

Sebastian had been maintaining a state of boiling magic until this moment, when he finally allowed the boiling magic to gradually subside.

Afterward, he looked at Harry and instructed, "This shop has some very deadly Dark Arts items."

"So, once inside, just look, don't touch anything."

Harry nodded and followed Sebastian into the antique shop.

Unlike the bright shops of Diagon Alley, this narrow shop was very dim, filled with a musty and decaying smell.

The surrounding shelves were piled with all sorts of antiques and bizarre items, many of which Harry couldn't even name.

Definitely, none of the items here would appear on the Hogwarts shopping list.

Just look at what they're selling here:

A shriveled hand, like a tree branch, lay quietly on the shelf, as if telling of its past suffering.

A lifeless glass eyeball lay quietly in the display case, its cold gaze seeming to penetrate everything.

An ornate necklace with a sign in front of it that read 'Extremely Deadly' made it clear that this necklace was cursed.

Harry couldn't imagine what kind of wizard would be foolish enough to wear this necklace around their neck.

Perhaps...

This necklace wasn't meant for oneself?

Besides that, several ferocious masks hung on the walls of the shop.

The counter was filled with various human bones.

Rusty, jagged devices hung from the ceiling, all conveying a message to the customers.

Everything in this shop had its own story and secrets, and the hidden dangers were far greater than they appeared.

Glug--

Harry was so shocked by everything in front of him that he couldn't help but swallow hard.

If he hadn't been with Sebastian, he would never have stepped into such a shop.

Sebastian was going to buy him a birthday present in a shop like this?!

Honestly, Harry wanted to tell Sebastian loudly that this birthday present wasn't necessary.

He could even skip his birthday entirely this year!

Look at the shopkeeper here, his eyes sharp and cold, with a fake smile, looking extremely unapproachable.

Harry was completely unaware that all of this was a stereotype he had formed of the shopkeeper after seeing the shop's furnishings.

In fact, Mr. Borgin, the shopkeeper, had already put on what he thought was the most perfect smile.

There was no choice but to smile; Borgin was extremely scared at this moment.

When Sebastian burst out with magic around him, Borgin knew that a formidable figure had come to Knockturn Alley.

He just muttered to himself and stopped paying attention.

Whatever, no matter who it is, it has nothing to do with me!

The first rule of making a living in Knockturn Alley is to mind your own business.

However, to Borgin's surprise, that terrifying magic was getting closer and closer to him until it stopped completely outside his shop.

Through the dusty shop window, Borgin could clearly see the figures outside, as well as the several wizards floating behind them.

At first glance, Borgin's face immediately turned green.

What kind of vicious Dark wizard is this, capturing these people, is he planning to do some evil human experiments?

Honestly, even in Knockturn Alley, this behavior is too blatant.

Fortunately, these two wizards look very unfamiliar, so I don't have to worry about them seeking revenge.

Merlin!

I hope these two are just resting outside my shop and have no intention of coming in.

Unfortunately, Merlin doesn't seem to have heard Borgin's prayers.

In his desperate gaze, the two wizards just said a few words, then pushed open the door and walked into his shop.

Seeing this, Borgin immediately smiled, put on twelve points of enthusiasm, and nodded and bowed to the person in front.

"Respected sir, welcome to Borgin and Burkes Antique Shop, I wonder what I can do for you?"

Borgin looked at the other party carefully, not daring to say an extra word of nonsense, for fear of annoying this terrifying fellow.

"Mr. Borgin, my name is Jack, and this is my companion," Sebastian said with a smile.

"We are travelers who travel around the world, and we look for special things in every country we go to."

"We were told that you have some good things here, so we came to visit. You don't mind, do you?"

Hearing this, Borgin felt relieved.

Fortunately, they are just here to buy things, so I should be in no danger.

"Of course, you are welcome," Borgin quickly bowed and walked out from behind the counter, "Let me personally introduce you to the products here."

Borgin instantly transformed into a professional lecturer, introducing Sebastian and Harry to one item after another in detail.

After a long time, Sebastian stood in front of the withered human hand and signaled to Borgin.

"Mr. Borgin, please bring this item over for a look."

"Ah, the Hand of Glory," Borgin quickly picked up the item, wiped it slightly, and then handed it to Sebastian solicitously.

"Mr. Jack, as I introduced before, this product is the best friend of thieves and robbers."

"In the dark, if you insert a candle, only the person holding it can see the candlelight. This means that you can see others in the dark, but others can't see you."

"Hmm?" Sebastian's voice turned cold, "Are you saying that my companion and I are robbers and thieves?"

"No, no, no, I didn't mean that at all," Borgin explained in a panic, "I meant, you have very discerning eyes."

"Don't be afraid, Mr. Borgin," Sebastian said with a smile, "I am a very kind person and won't be angry with you just because of one sentence."

"I want this thing, and I also want that vanishing cabinet that's standing alone, name your price."

Kind?

Only a fool would believe that!

There are still five wizards outside the door.

Borgin looked at Sebastian and cautiously probed, "The Hand of Glory is 500 Galleons, the Vanishing Cabinet is 300 Galleons, a total of 800 Galleons."

As soon as he finished speaking, Borgin saw Sebastian's cold eyes.

His heart skipped a beat, and he immediately realized that his professional habit had kicked in, and he had treated the other party as an ordinary wizard to fool.

He quickly changed his words, "Of course, these prices are for ordinary wizards."

"You two are powerful wizards, so I must give you a 50% discount."

"In addition, I hit it off with Mr. Jack, so I decided to package these two items together and only charge you 250 Galleons."

Two hundred and fifty?

The price is reasonable; when the Vanishing Cabinet first appeared, a set would sell for thousands of Galleons.

Although there is only one Vanishing Cabinet here, this price is really not a problem.

Moreover, there is another Vanishing Cabinet in Hogwarts, which just happens to match this one, plus the Hand of Glory, buying it is definitely a bargain.

However, this price feels a little off.

Sebastian frowned; he strongly suspected that this Borgin was taking the opportunity to scold him.

Seeing the other party frown, Borgin felt a little uneasy.

This is a real bargain price; if it's any cheaper, there's really no profit to be made.

Just as Borgin was hesitating whether to offer another 10 Galleon discount, Sebastian's voice rang out.

"249 Galleons!"

"If you agree, wrap them all up for me."
