Hogwarts: I am the White Demon King
#159 - Chapter 159 Auror Training Class
Harry's mind was still a bit muddled until Dumbledore announced the start of the dinner.
Who could understand this!
He had just said goodbye to Aunt Mia in the morning, and then he saw her figure on the faculty table in the evening.
It was really unexpected.
I have to say, Aunt Mia's lips are really tight; she didn't mention a word during the whole summer that she would come to Hogwarts as a professor.
Even if it's just a visiting professor, she should have said something in advance, and then everyone could have held a banquet at Swan Manor to celebrate.
Who knew how shocked I was when I entered the hall and saw Aunt Mia.
If I hadn't repeatedly confirmed with Hermione and Ron, I would have preferred to believe it was someone who looked exactly like Aunt Mia.
Harry mechanically shoveled food into his mouth, his ears filled with the discussions of his classmates.
"What, that beautiful female professor is Professor Swan's wife, are you sure?"
"Of course, I'm sure. Didn't you hear the headmaster call that female professor Professor Swan? There will be two Professor Swans at the school in the future."
Looking at Mia's youthful and beautiful appearance, some older female students felt a strong sense of gossip rising within them.
"Can someone tell me, why does Mrs. Swan look so young?"
"Yeah, she doesn't even look 25 years old. Do you think Professor Swan is an old cow eating young grass?"
"What nonsense, Professor Swan looks very young too. He and Mrs. Swan look like a match made in heaven sitting together. They both entered the school in the same year."
"Really?" A girl widened her eyes in surprise, "I heard that Professor Snape and Professor Swan were also classmates in the same year."
Hiss— — — —
The little wizards gasped.
"So, Professor Swan, Mrs. Swan, and Professor Snape are all classmates from the same year?"
"Then why does Professor Snape look older than the other two professors?"
"Shh! Do you want to die? How dare you criticize the professor like that? Didn't you see Professor Snape's face is already dark?"
"How could it not be dark? If there were two people constantly showing off their affection next to you, your face would be dark too."
"Enough, Professor Snape is also very handsome when he tidies himself up!"
Harry was completely uninterested in the little wizards' gossip; his mind was full of matters concerning Auror pre-employment training.
As the third-place finisher in the end-of-term exam last semester, Harry was fully qualified to participate in this training.
What's more, Sebastian had already told him during the summer vacation to be sure to sign up for his Auror training class.
Harry nudged Hermione's arm and whispered, "Hermione, are you planning to participate in Auror pre-employment training?"
"No," Hermione shook her head gently, "I'm not very interested in becoming an Auror."
"If I had to choose, I might try Mrs. Swan's healer pre-employment training."
"However, I think it's too early to experience it now. We are only in the second grade, and there is still a lot of basic knowledge we haven't learned. If we go, we may not be able to keep up with the learning progress."
Hermione glanced at the classmates who were still gossiping and couldn't help but curl her lips.
"In comparison, I think we should pay more attention to the exam reform issue."
A worried look appeared on Hermione's face: "The headmaster said that we will have an additional midterm exam after the Christmas holidays."
"Also, if you get a compulsory question wrong, you will have to retake that exam."
"I've decided to make a detailed review plan. Harry, Ron, you two have to follow my plan to review."
Hearing this, Ron, who was gobbling down chicken legs, was stunned.
"Enough, Hermione, we haven't even had a class yet, and you're already thinking about reviewing?"
"It's completely unnecessary. Didn't the headmaster say that the compulsory questions are generally practical types like spells?"
"Moreover, the professors of each subject will tell us the specific content of the compulsory questions in the first class."
Ron swallowed the chicken leg meat in his mouth and then picked up the pumpkin juice and took a big gulp.
"After practicing for half a year or a year, if anyone still doesn't know it, I'm definitely going to laugh at him."
........................
The next day, Harry was the first to arrive in the Auror training classroom.
Slowly, there were more and more people in the classroom. There were more than a dozen students in the sixth and seventh grades combined.
However, there were fewer lower-grade little wizards, only two people—Cedric Diggory from the fourth grade and himself from the second grade.
It seemed that most students decided to wait until the sixth grade to participate in this kind of training.
Before the bell rang, Sebastian walked into the classroom. He stood on the podium and said to everyone with a smile.
"According to the regulations of the Auror Office, Auror training content cannot be disclosed to others in any form."
"So, before starting the training, everyone needs to sign a magic agreement."
With that, Sebastian waved his wand, and copies of the magic agreement accurately landed in front of each student.
Ah?
It also needs to be kept secret?
Is it really necessary?!
The little wizards looked at me, I looked at you, and looked at each other.
They were still planning to show off to their friends after finishing the training class.
Now it seems that this plan has completely failed.
Harry opened the agreement and read it carefully. After confirming that it was correct, he picked up the pen and quickly signed his name.
After putting away all the magic agreements, Sebastian asked the students.
"To become an Auror, you not only need superb combat power, but also a smart mind."
"First question, which of these two do you think is more important?"
"Professor, this question is too simple," as soon as Sebastian finished speaking, a student answered抢答道, "It's definitely combat power."
"According to my understanding, Aurors don't have low combat power."
"I don't think so," a student retorted, "I think a good mind is more important."
"Dark wizards are very cunning. If you only have combat power, you can easily be played around by dark wizards."
Regarding this question, the students talked at once, expressing their opinions.
Harry thought for a while, but couldn't figure it out for a while.
However, thinking of the experience in Knockturn Alley during the holidays, he still felt that superb combat power was more important.
"If you want to figure out which one is more important, we need to speak with facts."
Sebastian said loudly, interrupting the students' discussion.
"According to the cases recorded by the Auror Office last year, only about one-tenth of Auror injuries were caused by directly fighting dark wizards head-on."
"More often, injuries are caused by falling into dark wizards' traps or tricks."
"Obviously, to become an excellent Auror, a smart mind is more important."
"In this section, I will pick out a case and let you experience it firsthand."
