Hogwarts: I am the White Demon King
#16 - Chapter 16: Shocking
September 1st.
By the time Sebastian arrived at Hogwarts, the sky was already slightly dim.
Looking at the Hogwarts gates, which had become exceptionally clean, Sebastian sighed with admiration.
"They're really clean!"
Hogwarts' welcome to the young wizards was evident in these small details.
He hadn't noticed it when he was a student.
What a waste of the professors' efforts.
However.
If it hadn't been for the fact that many minor jinxes had landed on the gates during his previous contest with Snape, and he had specially observed the gates of Hogwarts,
he might not have noticed the professors' little touches even now.
Sebastian smiled knowingly, then strode purposefully towards the castle.
Arriving at the Great Hall of Hogwarts, the professors had mostly arrived.
Dumbledore, sitting in the Headmaster's chair, nodded slightly to Sebastian as he entered.
Sebastian quickly returned the greeting and walked towards the professors' table, considering where to sit as he went.
"Over here, Sebastian, I've saved you a seat."
Sebastian looked up and saw Professor Flitwick waving his arm at him; it was he who had just called him.
His voice was high-pitched but full of enthusiasm.
Professor Flitwick was in charge of teaching Charms at Hogwarts and had a vast knowledge of Charms.
With his interesting teaching style and friendly personality, Professor Flitwick had always been one of the most popular professors among the young wizards.
Although Professor Flitwick was very short, so short that he had to stand on a pile of books to reach the table while lecturing,
it would be a big mistake to underestimate him because of this!
Professor Flitwick's magic was very profound.
In Sebastian's magical perception, Professor Flitwick's magic was not as dazzling as Professor Dumbledore's,
but apart from Dumbledore, he could definitely rank in the top three among the other professors.
What's more, Professor Flitwick was also an outstanding dueling master, his dueling skills were superb, and he had won the championship of the Dueling Competition when he was young.
Sebastian had often pestered Professor Flitwick for advice when he was a student.
Professor Flitwick was also generous and taught Sebastian everything he knew.
Sometimes, when he felt itchy, he would even personally come down and have a few duels with Sebastian.
Sebastian carefully looked at the professors' seats.
Professor Flitwick was sitting on the right side of the entire professors' table, with Snape sitting to his left, with a vacant seat between them.
Just as he sat down, before he could greet Snape, Professor Flitwick asked:
"Congratulations on winning the Quidditch World Cup, Sebastian."
"You played wonderfully!"
Sebastian quickly replied modestly, "Not at all, not at all, it's mainly because the opponents messed up their formation themselves, so I easily picked up a bargain."
Hearing Sebastian's words, Snape couldn't help but curl his lip.
Hypocrite!
This stinking swan.
He puts on a hypocritical face as soon as he is in front of the professors.
Sitting with him is really degrading!
Snape didn't say anything and continued to listen to Flitwick.
"Sebastian, I've heard Professor McGonagall and Professor Dumbledore talk about it."
"You are determined to break down the barriers between the four houses this year."
"What a remarkable ambition."
"You must tell me about it, what is your thought process?
"Or rather, what caused you to have such an idea?"
What was the reason...
There were many.
He wondered if the complaints of the silly netizens he saw in his previous life counted.
Banishing the fleeting thought from his mind, Sebastian said in an orderly manner:
"I spent two years in the Muggle world before, so I've seen many Muggle children."
"They mostly possess many excellent qualities at the same time, brave! diligent! loyal! ambitious! and so on."
"What about the young wizards?
Let me take my own school days as an example."
"I've seen Slytherin students who had just entered school, who were regarded as freaks by the surrounding students because they were loyal to friendship and made friends with Gryffindor students, regardless of the eyes of the people around them."
"I have also seen Gryffindor students who had just entered school, who were called nerds by the surrounding students because they loved to study and didn't like sports."
"I have also seen Ravenclaw students who had just entered school, who were ridiculed by the surrounding students for being content with mediocrity and not loving to study because of their brave personalities and love of adventure."
"I have even seen Hufflepuff students who had just entered school, who were gradually isolated by the surrounding students because they had great ambitions and were determined to make a career."
"I've seen too much..."
"These young wizards who have just entered school gradually discover that everything that does not conform to the characteristics of the house is unacceptable."
"Slowly, slowly..."
"After a month or two."
"Hufflepuff is only left with loyalty!"
"Ravenclaw is only left with wisdom!"
"Gryffindor is only left with courage!"
"Slytherin is only left with ambition!"
Sebastian looked around and found that the professors' attention had been attracted to him.
He continued:
"After seeing the Muggle children, I kept asking myself."
"Isn't it possible for every child to be like this?
Isn't it possible for every child to be brave, love to study, be loyal to friendship, and have great ambitions at the same time?"
"Why can our young wizards only show one kind of personality?"
"Have we personally strangled other characteristics?"
"Hogwarts' sorting system originated from the four great wizards thousands of years ago."
"This system is actually an epitome of the apprenticeship system."
"What about now, thousands of years later?"
"Is this system outdated?"
Sebastian paused, looked at the professors who were deep in thought, and continued:
"I can't comment on whether this system is good or bad."
"I just don't want to see the characteristics of the house become heavy shackles on them."
"Each of them can be brave, loyal, eager for knowledge, and ambitious..."
"Whether they belong to Gryffindor, Hufflepuff, Ravenclaw, or Slytherin."
"I hope to see all the good qualities of human beings in them."
"I hope that all young wizards can freely express themselves."
"Be the most authentic self!"
As soon as he finished speaking, Dumbledore applauded, his eyes full of appreciation as he looked at Sebastian.
He raised his glass and toasted Sebastian remotely.
"Sebastian, I look forward to you bringing different changes to Hogwarts."
Professor Flitwick's performance was even more exaggerated.
He jumped up excitedly on the stool, almost falling down.
He stood on the stool, patted Sebastian on the shoulder, and said:
"That's amazing, Sebastian, I'll help you!"
Snape was still immersed in what Sebastian said, slightly dazed.
Loyal to friendship, making friends with Gryffindor students.
......
Gradually, the laughter of the students came from outside the hall, and it got closer and closer with their footsteps.
The students are here!
