Hogwarts: I am the White Demon King

#210 - Chapter 210 Welcome to Malfoy Manor

June 26, 1993, Saturday.

The morning sun shone through the tall windows of Malfoy Manor, falling on the sleeping face of Draco Malfoy.

Feeling the harsh sunlight, Draco lazily sat up and rubbed his sleepy eyes.

After quickly washing up, he went directly to the garden on the side of the manor, where his parents were quietly enjoying breakfast.

"Dad, Mom, Professor Swann is visiting today. Should we have the house-elves clean the manor again?"

Draco said loudly, his voice echoing through the manor, breaking the morning silence.

Lucius Malfoy frowned slightly, his tone a little displeased: "Since you brought back Sebastian's visiting card, you have emphasized it eight hundred times."

"Too frivolous, this is not the Malfoy way."

Narcissa simply smiled, picked up her teacup, and said calmly, "Dear, Draco is still a child.

He admires Sebastian and naturally wants today's visit to be perfect."

"Mom understands me best," Malfoy muttered softly, "Professor Swann is not a country bumpkin who has never seen the world.

If it's not cleaned up properly, I'm afraid I'll lose the Malfoy family's face."

Lucius sighed and put down the newspaper in his hand: "The manor has already been cleaned three times inside and out."

"There's no need to clean it again today, just make sure you don't damage the manor's cleanliness."

"No matter how you look at it, this manor is presentable enough that even the most critical wizard can't find fault with it."

"Come, Draco," Narcissa sat at the table and gently patted the seat next to her, "There's still a whole day ahead, don't rush, let's have breakfast first."

"I could hear your stomach growling."

Draco was about to retort loudly when he heard his stomach make a protesting gurgle.

His face flushed red, and he obediently sat down and began to eat breakfast voraciously.

Lucius sighed and put down the newspaper in his hand again: "Manners, Draco, pay attention to your table manners!"

"Are you going to be gobbling like this when your professor arrives?

The Malfoy family can't afford to lose such a person."

"I don't know what you've learned at Hogwarts, you've forgotten your table manners."

"Hmph-" Malfoy curled his lips, "The professor doesn't care about these formalities."

"Unlike those old relics of pure-blood families, the professor values a person's ability and wisdom more."

"I only asked to clean up to show respect for the professor."

Hearing this, Lucius became even more annoyed.

His little dragon had changed.

He used to be so obedient, doing whatever he was told.

Now, all he talks about is Professor Swann this and Professor Swann that.

He had heard that his little dragon at Hogwarts no longer had the pride of a pure-blood family and could even communicate peacefully with Mudbloods.

This was outrageous!

When Sebastian arrives, he would have to have a good talk with him.

Lucius stood up and said coldly, "Draco, your professor doesn't care about these formalities, but we do."

"I don't want people to think that the child of Malfoy Manor is a crude monkey."

"You don't need to worry about anything else, just review the etiquette for meetings between nobles."

Time passed quickly, and in the blink of an eye, it was evening.

Draco kept looking at the clock on the wall.

"It's almost seven o'clock.

I'll go to the manor gate and wait a bit.

The professor is always punctual, and I don't want to make him wait at the gate."

With that, he stood up and ran towards the manor gate.

Arriving at the manor gate, Draco had just checked his attire when he heard a familiar voice from outside the gate.

"Draco, are you waiting for me?"

Draco looked up and found Professor Swann smiling at him.

He quickly opened the gate and said happily, "Welcome to Malfoy Manor, Professor Swann."

"Please come in, I'll show you the way."

"Thank you," Sebastian nodded with a smile, casually took out a beautifully packaged gift box and placed it in Draco's hand, "This is a gift for you, I hope you like it."

A gift?

For me?

Draco looked at the gift box in his hand, his heart itching terribly.

"Open it and see," Sebastian said with a smile, "Don't worry, it's not a test paper."

Opening the gift box in his hand, Draco was surprised to find that it was a delicate Norwegian Ridgeback dragon model.

"Made according to Norbert's appearance, I don't know if you still remember?"

Of course, I remember!

I watched that little dragon being born when I was in the first grade.

Malfoy was overjoyed and couldn't put the model down, wishing he could play with it right away.

He suppressed the eagerness in his heart, but his pace quickened slightly.

"What have you been doing these past few days of vacation?" Sebastian joked, "Bored at home?"

Hehe!

Here it comes, the professor will indeed ask about my studies.

Fortunately, I am quite smart and had prepared in advance, not feeling guilty at all.

Draco patted his chest and replied, "Not bored at all, I have been writing the summer homework assigned by the professors of each subject since I came home."

"Although the difficulty is relatively high, I have almost finished writing it."

"I think the homework assigned by the professors is still a bit less, I'll finish it in just one week."

Seeing Malfoy's expression of 'come and praise me', Sebastian grinned and praised him.

"Amazing, you are indeed a role model for our house."

"It would be great if all the students in our house were as hardworking as you."

To be honest, this was not Sebastian's random praise, but a genuine recognition of Draco's changes.

Over the past year, Sebastian had been watching Draco's efforts and had helped him with questions and answers from time to time.

Moreover, taking summer homework as an example.

In the Muggle community, children's summer homework is mostly just a formality, and teachers will not seriously check it after school starts.

But Hogwarts is different.

The summer homework assigned by the professors is basically aimed at the key points of knowledge in the new school year.

Students need to find information on their own to complete it.

According to Sebastian's understanding, the homework assigned by Snape was a preview of the Shrinking Potion, which is a key topic in the third-year potions class.

After praising Draco, Sebastian soon saw Lucius and Narcissa standing in front of the mansion.

Lucius stepped forward and shook hands with Sebastian using standard aristocratic etiquette.

"Welcome to Malfoy Manor, Sebastian."

Narcissa also said warmly, "You haven't been here for a long time, don't stand there, please come in."
