Hogwarts: I am the White Demon King
#265 - Chapter 265 Quidditch Match
December 5th, Sunday, the weather was particularly bad.
The cold wind howled, whipping every corner of Hogwarts like a lash, the trees swaying madly, emitting a whimper, as if they would be uprooted at any moment.
The dark clouds in the sky were tossed about by the wind, and dense raindrops pelted the ground like a downpour, the rain so heavy that it was almost impossible to see anything a few steps away.
Raindrops beat against the mud of the Quidditch pitch, splashing mud, the sound of the wind mixed with the rushing of the rain, filling the entire field with a sense of oppression.
However, even the worst weather could not extinguish the little wizards' fervent anticipation for Quidditch.
After breakfast, the little wizards, wearing raincoats and holding wizarding telescopes, braved the icy rain and headed towards the Quidditch pitch, none of them retreating because of the bad weather.
Today was the first match of the school year against Durmstrang, and everyone was enthusiastic, hoping that the school team members could defeat their opponents and wipe out their previous shame.
When Hermione and Ron arrived at the stands, they were filled with little wizards wearing Hogwarts uniforms.
The stands were shrouded in alchemical devices arranged by Sebastian, as warm as spring, and one could not feel the biting cold wind outside at all.
The heavy rain was also blocked outside the transparent magic barrier, and everyone sat comfortably in their seats, happily discussing the upcoming game.
"Hermione, sit here!" Ron shouted as he quickly ran to the seats reserved for them by Neville and Seamus. "Luckily Neville and them saved us a spot, how thoughtful."
"I have to say, watching the game in the stands in this kind of weather is a real treat, it's just hard on Harry and the others."
Hermione greeted Neville and the others, and sat on the stands with a smile, listening to the laughter around her, and her whole person seemed extremely relaxed.
Since taking Sebastian's advice, she had been getting enough sleep every day, and her whole person was in much better shape.
In addition, she had successively passed the interview assessments for Muggle Studies, History of Magic, and Astronomy, greatly reducing the pressure of studying.
In the past week, on Thursday and Friday, she even returned directly to a normal schedule.
Compared to before, her complexion had returned to rosy, the dark circles under her eyes had disappeared without a trace, her messy hair had become smooth, and her whole person looked radiant, no longer as tired as before, and radiating low pressure.
Even Ron, that big, sloppy fellow, had noticed Hermione's change.
He glanced at the radiant Hermione and couldn't help but say, "Hermione, I've noticed that you've been in much better spirits lately, and you haven't been as busy as before, disappearing without a trace. It's different after passing the exams!"
Hearing Ron's question, Hermione smiled, pursing her lips: "Passing the exams is a good medicine for relieving stress. Moreover, the atmosphere of the stadium is particularly relaxing."
She looked around the environment of the stadium and said with a slight worry: "However, the weather is not very good today, I wonder if it will affect Harry and the others' performance?"
"Don't worry!" Ron waved his hand dismissively, and said with confidence, "This little wind and rain is nothing at all."
"Don't forget our training maniac Wood, as the vice-captain, he has already trained Harry and the others for this kind of weather, there is absolutely no problem."
In the locker room, the players had already changed into their black and handsome team uniforms, put on their waterproof goggles, and listened to Vice-Captain Wood making a pre-match speech.
"We have a complete set of windproof and waterproof equipment, and the bad weather outside has no impact on us at all."
"Look at the flying brooms in your hands, these are the Firebolts that Professor Slughorn specially equipped for the school team this year."
"We must win, we must not fail to live up to the professor's expectations."
Wood shouted loudly, and was a little incoherent because of nervousness, he really wanted to win too much.
"Our opponent Viktor Krum was selected for the Bulgarian national team this year, which means that he has become a world-class Seeker."
"Oliver, relax a little," Fred said with a grin to ease the pre-match tension, "According to Durmstrang's match against Beauxbatons, apart from Krum, Durmstrang's new players are really not good enough."
"That's right," George echoed, "They were able to lose to Beauxbatons with Krum, it will definitely be easy for us to beat Durmstrang."
Hearing the twins' words, Wood frowned: "We can't take it lightly, we must win no matter what!"
His eyes fell on Harry, and he said solemnly: "Harry, the task of marking Krum is entrusted to you, Marcus and Roger will try their best to cooperate with you to knock him down from the sky."
Marcus patted Wood on the shoulder, stepped forward and shouted loudly.
"This year's trophy must be ours."
"Let's go! Under the witness of all of Europe, let us go and crush Durmstrang together."
"Crush Durmstrang × N!" The players left the locker room with high morale, riding their brooms and flying out of the tunnel.
The clamorous sound wave rushed towards them, and the surrounding stands erupted with enthusiastic shouts.
Countless flags were flying in the air, and the little wizards waved flags painted with the Hogwarts crest, or held banners that said "Hogwarts Must Win!"
They followed the cheerleaders and shouted uniform slogans, desperately cheering for the Hogwarts players.
"Hogwarts go!"
"Hogwarts must win!"
"Diggory, the most handsome Chaser!"
"Wood, the most handsome Keeper!"
"Marcus, the most accurate Beater!"
"The Hogwarts team is on the field," a professional commentator's voice sounded, "Potter, Diggory, Davies, the Weasley brothers, Flint, and Wood."
"Hogwarts students generally believe that this is their best team, the Hogwarts dream team."
"The Durmstrang team has also entered the field led by Captain Krum. Although they have a lot of new players, they are still a force to be reckoned with."
"After all, with the genius Seeker Krum, no one can relax."
Hearing the commentator's voice, Harry couldn't help but grip his Firebolt, and then secretly swallowed.
If there was anyone on the entire field who was under the most pressure, it must be him.
Although his flying skills were very good, he really didn't have the confidence to catch the Golden Snitch before Krum.
Harry could only try his best to entangle Krum, and let his teammates widen the score to fifty points or more before the opponent caught the Golden Snitch.
He stared intently at Krum, and after hearing the referee's whistle, he quickly controlled the Firebolt and rushed towards Krum with all his strength.
"Krum, here I come!"
