Hogwarts: I am the White Demon King

#329 - Chapter 329: Veela Fights Are Much More Exciting Than Quidditch

Harry had been having a blast at the Quidditch campsite these past few days, completely immersed in this grand event attended by wizards from all over the world.

He constantly darted between the various stalls in the campsite, sampling delicacies from different countries and buying interesting souvenirs.

He even participated in a small competition called "Flying Broomstick Skills Challenge," where he rode a broomstick through several magical obstacles, and at the last moment, he skillfully dodged a toy Bludger flying towards him, eliciting cheers from the onlookers.

When Hermione and the Weasley family arrived, Harry volunteered to be their tour guide, taking his friends on a thorough tour of the campsite.

Hermione's face was filled with excitement, as it was her first time seeing such a large-scale event in the magical world.

"Harry, how was your summer vacation? Have you been in touch with Sirius? What did Professor Swan and Professor Snape teach you?"

"It was great," Harry replied, "Sirius and I write to each other often. I even went to see him during the holidays. We got to know each other a lot better when we were alone, and it's not awkward anymore."

"As for Professor Swan and Professor Snape, they didn't teach me anything special this holiday. They just dragged me into one-on-one combat training every day. I suffered a lot."

"Oh, stop being so pretentious," Hermione said, her face full of envy.

One-on-one training with those two professors was an opportunity that many people couldn't even dream of.

Harry chuckled: "It was tough, but I can feel my combat power improving rapidly, so I'm quite satisfied."

"Harry, the Omnioculars you gave me are a bit too expensive. I don't know what to buy in return," Ron muttered with a smile.

"It's nothing. Omnioculars are the hottest product during the Quidditch World Cup. With them, you can even see the expression on Krum's face clearly."

Harry said casually, "If you don't know what to give in return, just treat me to some food. I know a few stalls that sell really delicious things."

"No problem!" Fred put his arm around Harry's shoulder from the left, "You can be our guide."

"We'll pay!" George put his arm around Harry's shoulder from the right.

"Don't you dare be polite with us! × 2"

Ron chimed in, "Harry, Fred and George interned at Swan Alchemy this summer and earned more than Dad. Mum is ecstatic. Feel free to eat your fill."

Internship?

Harry became interested and quickly asked the twins what they had been up to.

"Secret!" Fred said mysteriously, "I can only tell you that Swan Alchemy will be launching a groundbreaking product soon."

"Don't be impatient!" George added, "You'll definitely see Swan Alchemy's advertisement before the match. We're both in it."

Seeing that the twins wouldn't say anything more, everyone had to focus on the food, drinks, and entertainment around them.

As the match approached, people became more and more excited, and the entire campsite became more and more like a boiling cauldron.

The Ministry of Magic completely gave up on management. For a time, all kinds of magical phenomena emerged. There were children flying on toy broomsticks, the crackling sound of Apparition, and even magical fireworks soaring into the sky.

As night gradually fell, people in the campsite began to move towards the Quidditch stadium.

Having agreed with Sebastian in advance to meet in the stadium's box, Harry went directly to the stadium with the Weasley family.

After walking through a forest, a huge oval-shaped open-air stadium appeared in front of them. Seeing the astonished expressions on everyone's faces, Mr. Weasley proudly explained.

"This stadium can accommodate 100,000 spectators. The employees of the Ministry of Magic have been working on it for a whole year. Come on, kids, we still have a little way to go."

They took their tickets for the top box, passed through the crowded crowd, stepped on the crimson carpet, went up the stairs all the way to the highest point of the stadium.

At the top of the stadium, several huge magical televisions were floating, showing various vivid and interesting advertisements in turn.

There were Firebolt flying broomsticks suitable for family travel, Mrs. Skower's All-Purpose Magical Mess Remover, and various handsome men and beautiful women wearing Fleur Wizarding Robes for fashion shows.

Harry and the others finally saw the new product that the twins said Swan Alchemy would launch this year—the Magic Mobile Phone.

On the screen, the twins appeared in different scenes, using their Magic Mobile Phones to text, call, and even video chat with each other.

Finally, there was a classic advertisement:

【Magic Mobile Phone, makes our life more convenient!】

Looking at the various interesting advertisements, Mr. Weasley sighed: "The advertisements used to be just various shiny words, but now it's different. Video advertisements are much more interesting."

"This Magic Mobile Phone is indeed good. The price is moderate, most wizards can afford it, and the function is very powerful."

"With it, your mother and I can meet and chat with you at ordinary times."

"Awesome, right?" Fred said with a proud face, "This is much more convenient than owls. In the future, owls will be completely reduced to pets or couriers."

"Super privacy and anti-theft function," George added, "It's bound to our magic, and others can only hold a brick in their hands."

Just when everyone was talking about the Magic Mobile Phone, people began to enter their box. The Sebastian family, the Malfoy family, and then the Minister of Magic Fudge and the Bulgarian Minister of Magic.

Looking at the empty seat in the last row corner and the house-elf in the position next to it, Sebastian twitched his lips and asked knowingly.

"Arthur, who's house-elf is that? Why is it always covering its face?"

"That's Winky, Mr. Crouch's house-elf," Arthur explained to Sebastian with a smile. "It's here to reserve a seat for Mr. Crouch."

"It's just that the little guy is a bit afraid of heights and doesn't dare to look around, so he can only cover his face."

"I see." Sebastian nodded, glanced meaningfully at the empty seat, and then greeted Mia and the students.

In order to avoid being annoying, Sebastian and Mia didn't ask these little guys how they were doing with their holiday homework, but just discussed some of the campsite's experiences with them.

After Ludo Bagman, Head of the Department of Magical Games and Sports, entered the box, Fudge said kindly: "Ludo, it's time, get ready to start."

After using the Sonorus charm, Ludo Bagman's passionate voice clearly transmitted to every corner of the stadium.

"Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to the final of the 422nd Quidditch World Cup!"

"Let us first welcome the mascots of the Bulgarian National Team!"

Hearing this, the red square formation on the right side of the stands suddenly burst into loud cheers.

"Sure enough, it's Veela!" Sebastian smiled and held Mia's hand, signaling her to look at the performance of several young men in the box after seeing the Veela.

Among them, Fred and George and his brothers performed slightly better. They were not too exaggerated, just staring at the dancing Veela.

However, Harry, Ron, and Malfoy were all bewitched, and their performances were a little unsatisfactory.

They stood in front of the fence, constantly cheering, jumping, and making all kinds of embarrassing movements that made people stunned, and for a while, they made a complete fool of themselves.

"Haha," the corners of Sebastian's mouth almost reached his ears, "This is really a wonderful large-scale social death scene!"

When they came back to their senses, looking at the smiling eyes of everyone, Harry and the three of them blushed one by one.

Ron and Malfoy even threatened each other not to tell each other's performance.

Next to appear were the Irish Leprechauns, who flew over the heads of the audience, constantly scattering a large number of gold coins, attracting a group of young people to scramble for them.

However, after hearing Sebastian say that these gold coins were fake and would disappear the next day, they all felt cheated.

Ron even hated to tear off the clover on his hat, saying that he would no longer support the Irish team.

The following game was very exciting, but Harry said that the performances of the two cheerleading teams were also not far behind.

The Leprechauns kept forming various words to celebrate or ridicule, and the Veela kept dancing to charm the Irish players.

The two cheerleading teams once clashed. After the Leprechauns made rude gestures, the Veela directly fought with each other.

"Ron, look quickly!" Harry patted Ron's arm, "Those beauties are fighting."

"I don't need you to remind me, I've been staring at them all the time. This is much more interesting than Quidditch!"

However, to their disappointment, the Veela began to transform as they fought, turning into ugly images with bird heads and wings.

At this moment, the two of them stopped looking at the Veela and turned their attention to the stadium.

Krum is indeed the world's number one Seeker, and he used his skillful flying skills to play the opponent around.

However, his teammates were really not strong enough, and they were finally defeated by the Irish team.

Fudge personally presented the championship trophy to the Irish team, and Sebastian, as a special guest and the former world's strongest Seeker, put the Seeker medal around Krum's neck.

"Krum, you've performed very well. Keep up the good work. I believe you will be able to personally win the Quidditch Championship trophy."

As the game ended, the audience returned to the campsite one after another, but their excitement could not be eliminated for a while.

The campsite was full of celebratory songs and discussions about the game. From time to time, there would be a little conflict, but the staff of the Ministry of Magic could easily resolve it.

Sebastian took Mia and Harry to the Weasleys' tent for a while, and then the three of them returned to their tent before the campsite calmed down.

At around three in the morning, sensing the chaotic commotion in the campsite, Sebastian grinned and stood up directly.

"It's time to give the Working Souls a snack!"
