Hogwarts: I am the White Demon King
#451 - Chapter 451: Heading to the Order of the Phoenix
Not long after, the doorbell at Number Four, Privet Drive, rang. Vernon leaped up from the sofa, scurrying to open the door.
"Mr. Swann, you've come at last!" Vernon said with a face full of anxiety, "You must take a look at Dudley; he's been shivering non-stop since the attack just now. But Dudley says he didn't see anything, just suddenly felt particularly cold, and then it was as if he would never feel happy again."
Shivering?
Hadn't Harry just said that he drove the Dementor away as soon as it showed its face? The little fatty shouldn't have been madly sucked dry by the Dementor like in the original work. This is purely being scared, right?
"Ordinary people can't see Dementors, don't worry, I'll just take a look."
Following Vernon into the living room, Sebastian saw Dudley sitting on the sofa, his face pale, clutching a large bar of chocolate in his hands, mechanically chewing as he shivered, while Petunia stood beside him, her face full of worry, quietly comforting him.
"Chocolate is exactly the right remedy, Harry's handling of it is fine," Sebastian nodded, taking a small bottle of potion from his undetectable extension bag. "However, if you think the effect is too slow, you can try this. Cheering Potion, drinking it will make you lively and kicking immediately."
Vernon took the potion, hesitated slightly, then quickly walked to Dudley's side and made him gulp it down without explanation.
A few seconds later, Dudley's complexion quickly turned rosy, and his originally stiff expression also relaxed.
"Mr. Swann," Petunia hesitated for a moment, then opened her mouth with difficulty, "Harry said that the person who killed Lily is back again. Did that person send the Dementors tonight?"
Hearing Petunia's words, Vernon's face looked very unsightly. He opened his mouth as if wanting to say something, but ultimately gave up on the idea.
"Don't worry, it has nothing to do with that person, it's just that someone wants to make trouble for Harry," Sebastian smiled slightly, gently reassuring, "Besides, there's magical protection here, so you don't need to worry about your own safety."
As he spoke, Harry came running down the stairs, holding Hedwig's cage.
"Professor, I've packed my luggage, and I'm ready to leave at any time."
"Alright, calculating the time, you've been back for almost thirty days, so let's go."
Saying goodbye to the Dursley family, Sebastian led Harry to the lawn outside the house, and then he grabbed the other's arm and disappeared from the spot with a whoosh.
After a familiar squeezing sensation, Harry found that the two of them had arrived in a wilderness.
"Professor, aren't we going back to Swann Manor?" Harry asked suspiciously.
"Of course we're going back," Sebastian's lips curved into a smile, "But before that, we need to make a detour first. The Order of the Phoenix has an emergency meeting that I need to attend."
The Order of the Phoenix?!
Is it nearby?
How mysterious.
Harry immediately perked up, striding to keep close to Sebastian: "Professor, why is the Order of the Phoenix located in such a remote place? There isn't even a single house nearby, and it's overgrown with weeds and very desolate."
"Remote?" Sebastian couldn't help but smile, "Don't let Ron hear you say that, or he'll be angry with you."
"Ron?" Harry looked puzzled, "What does it have to do with him? His home isn't here."
However, as soon as the words left his mouth, his expression suddenly changed. He found that he couldn't remember the exact location of Ron's house no matter what.
Not only that, but memories about Ron's house, such as the appearance of the house, the layout of the living room, the appearance of Ron's bedroom, etc., had all become blank.
This isn't right!
He had clearly visited Ron's house several times, so how could he not have any impression at all?
"Professor," Harry was a little flustered for a moment, "My memory seems to be having problems!"
"Don't panic," Sebastian said calmly, "This is the effect of the Fidelius Charm. Mr. Weasley has contributed their home to serve as the headquarters of the Order of the Phoenix."
In the original work, Sirius Black contributed his home—Number 12, Grimmauld Place—to serve as the headquarters of the Order of the Phoenix. However, the current Sirius Black can't even enter his own home, let alone contribute the house.
Sebastian initially intended to pick a property from his own holdings and give it to Dumbledore for use as the Order of the Phoenix headquarters. However, before he could put it into action, Mr. Weasley took the initiative and proposed using his own house as the base of the Order of the Phoenix.
However, compared to Number 12, Grimmauld Place, the Weasley's house was obviously a bit cramped. In order to solve this problem, and at the same time avoid disturbing the Weasley's life too much, Sebastian simply donated a magical tent, which was directly set up in the Weasley's yard.
This magical tent provided ample space for the Order of the Phoenix members to meet and rest, and while ensuring confidentiality, it also prevented the Weasley's house from being turned upside down.
Sebastian said softly: "For safety's sake, Dumbledore personally acted as the Secret-Keeper, using the Fidelius Charm to protect their home, so there's no need to worry about Voldemort's harassment."
Harry suddenly understood, and the unease in his heart finally dissipated.
So it was the Fidelius Charm!
Thankfully, it wasn't that there was something wrong with his brain.
"Professor, I have a question. Why didn't you directly join the Order of the Phoenix, but instead became a special consultant?"
After hearing that Dumbledore had established the Order of the Phoenix specifically to fight Voldemort, Harry directly wrote a letter to Dumbledore, expressing his desire to join it.
Unfortunately, Dumbledore refused his request on the grounds that he was too young, which made him very unwilling.
In comparison, Sebastian was personally invited by Dumbledore, but chose to assist only as a consultant, which Harry had never been able to figure out.
To be honest, this doubt had been weighing on his mind for a long time, and taking advantage of this opportunity, he decided to ask for clarification.
Hearing Harry's question, Sebastian smiled and patiently explained: "The management of the Order of the Phoenix is too loose, and the composition of the personnel is also a bit complicated, which I don't like very much, so I didn't directly join it, but instead became a special consultant."
"Take today as an example, Dumbledore clearly arranged for Mundungus to be on duty, but he actually abandoned his post, forcing you to cast spells outside of school, allowing the Ministry of Magic to catch you red-handed."
"Speaking of which, even if Mundungus was present, he wouldn't be able to do anything. He doesn't know advanced spells like the Patronus Charm, so in the end, you would still have to take action yourself."
"However," Sebastian changed the subject, "Things have two sides, and this commotion has actually given you the opportunity to join the Order of the Phoenix."
Harry became excited. Although Sebastian didn't think highly of the Order of the Phoenix, he was different; he dreamed of joining it.
He couldn't wait to ask: "Professor, where is my opportunity?"
"It's very simple," Sebastian's lips curled up slightly, "This Ministry of Magic trial is your opportunity."
"In the Order of the Phoenix, most people think you're too young, and it's too early to join the Order of the Phoenix now."
"So, you have to let everyone see that you are no longer a child, but a mature warrior who can calmly cope with any accidents and tests on your own."
"As long as you perform brilliantly in the Ministry of Magic trial, I will personally recommend you to join the Order of the Phoenix."
"Alright, we're here." Sebastian stopped, took out a piece of parchment and put it in Harry's hand, "Read it and remember what's written on it."
Harry took out a magic lamp and saw the writing on the parchment clearly:
The headquarters of the Order of the Phoenix is located in the Burrow, on the outskirts of the village of Ottery St. Catchpole.
