Hogwarts: I am the White Demon King

#516 - Chapter 516 Chaos Begins

Hearing the noise from the magical phone, Barty Jr. immediately hung up and squeezed into the Vanishing Cabinet with Bella and the others.

Opening the cabinet doors again, they found themselves in Snape's potions office.

"Severus," Barty Jr. observed the layout of the office before staring directly into Snape's eyes, "The Master is very pleased with the news you brought. You will be rewarded this time."

As he spoke, the Vanishing Cabinet doors opened once more, and several more Death Eaters emerged, including the Carrow siblings, Macnair, and Wormtail, Peter Pettigrew.

For the sake of security, Barty Jr. had summoned all the Death Eaters from the Riddle House, with one goal in mind: to ensure the plan's success.

After all, compared to their school days, Hogwarts now had many more professors. It wouldn't be good if they were delayed.

"The alarm in Hogsmeade has been triggered. The professors in the school will soon be busy. I can't hide the fact that I used my high-level access to turn off the school's alarm for too long."

Snape coldly scanned everyone present: "Take advantage of the fact that no one has noticed us, hurry up. This place is underground, quite a distance from the Astronomy Tower."

With that, he swept his black robes and strode out first.

Snape had no time to pay attention to these Death Eaters. He was constantly pondering the Dark Lord's instructions.

To eliminate Dumbledore himself, was this another test for him?

As Sebastian predicted, but Sebastian repeatedly told him not to be the one to "kill" Dumbledore.

It seemed he could only execute Plan B.

Barty Jr. winked at Bella and the others: "Stay alert, don't be soft on anyone you see, and be quick!"

The group followed closely behind Snape. Passing through the Great Hall, Bella laughed maniacally: "Hey, a return to the old haunt! Should we leave Hogwarts a little souvenir?!"

As she spoke, she raised her wand, ready to wreak havoc, but before she could act, a hand reached out from the side to stop her.

"Bella, don't be crazy. McGonagall, Flitwick, they must already be awake. Do you want to attract them all here?"

"Don't forget, the Master is holding up Sebastian in Hogsmeade. Can you take responsibility if you delay the Master's plan? Move!"

Hearing Barty Jr.'s words, Bella couldn't refute him, so she could only vent her anger on Wormtail, Peter Pettigrew.

"Wormtail, hurry up, don't dawdle!"

Peter couldn't express his suffering. Aside from those who were developing their forces in other countries, the Death Eaters currently staying at the Riddle House were all deeply trusted subordinates of the Dark Lord. He had originally been complacent, thinking his status was higher than most Death Eaters.

He never expected that a difficult task would suddenly fall on their heads.

He didn't want to return to Hogwarts at all, especially with only eight or nine people.

The reason was simple. Other Death Eaters might not know, but he, who had been hiding in Hogwarts for more than two years, knew very well that not only were the professors powerful, but the students were also formidable.

To be honest, Peter was more afraid of the young students than the professors. After all, the professors usually wouldn't kill, but those hot-blooded students were different.

There was a reward for catching Death Eaters, and who knew what those students eager to gain merit would do, especially the Harry Potter group, who had a feud with him.

However, he didn't dare to complain and could only follow silently behind the others.

The group marched forward. Although they tried to avoid making noise, they were spotted by Filch, who was standing on the third-floor corridor, before they even reached the Astronomy Tower.

At first, seeing the Death Eaters swaggering around the school, Filch thought he was mistaken, that he was just hallucinating from not sleeping well. After all, none of the school alarms had been triggered.

However, after rubbing his eyes vigorously, he clearly saw Snape walking in front.

Remembering that Snape was the patrolling professor tonight, he couldn't hold back any longer and immediately ran to the corridor, manually activating a nearby alarm.

"Beep— — — —"

Hearing the alarm sounding in the school, Barty Jr. cursed fiercely: "We've been discovered, run faster! The Astronomy Tower is just ahead."

"Wormtail, the Carrow siblings, Macnair, the four of you guard the bottom of the Astronomy Tower and use Peruvian Instant Darkness Powder to delay them as much as possible."

"The rest of you, follow me. Severus, you go first and try to lower Dumbledore's guard. Quick!"

............

In the Gryffindor boys' dormitory, Harry, Ron, and Neville were leaning against the window, gazing worriedly in the direction of Hogsmeade.

They had heard this kind of alarm sound during the previous Hogsmeade alarm drills and knew it meant that Voldemort had come near the town.

However, the sky near the town was calm, without any signs of fighting.

"Could it be that the Dark Lord has arrived?" Ron said doubtfully, "Why is it so quiet?"

"Maybe the alarm is broken," Seamus guessed in a low voice from the bed.

"Impossible!" Neville frowned, "It's been ringing for so long and no one has turned it off. The Dark Lord must have arrived."

Harry didn't speak. After looking for a while, he left the window and silently put on his wizard robes.

"Hey, Harry!" Ron asked, puzzled, "Why are you getting dressed? Professor McGonagall won't let us leave the school."

"I have a bad feeling. It's better to be prepared," Harry tied his shoelaces tightly, "The Dark Lord hasn't made a move, but he suddenly came to Hogsmeade tonight. There must be a conspiracy!"

Just then, the school alarm sounded, clearly reaching their ears.

The piercing buzzing sound not only alarmed the Death Eaters but also alerted all the teachers and students in the school.

"Something's wrong!" Harry grabbed his wand and rushed out without looking back, "I'm going to see what's going on."

Ron followed closely behind, grabbing his wand and running out in his pajamas. Neville was a step slower and was stopped by Professor McGonagall.

"Neville, you must take on the responsibility as a prefect and stay to help maintain order!"

Ah?!

Professor McGonagall, I also want to go out and help...

Neville didn't dare to argue and reluctantly agreed: "Professor, what about Harry and Ron..."

McGonagall nodded, pushed open the door, and walked out: "Neville, don't let any more students out. Don't worry about Harry and Ron, with me here, I won't let a single hair on their heads be harmed!"
