Outside the window, the first rays of dawn peeked through, accompanied by the chirping of birds.

“Huff…” Jerry exhaled a long breath and slowly opened his eyes.

A bright light flickered in his eyes, like brilliant stars in the night sky.

“This feeling is just amazing!” Jerry clenched his fist, feeling the surging magic within his body, a look of satisfaction on his face.

The soul fragment of Aldrich Mamen had finally been completely absorbed.

The efficiency was much slower than Jerry had anticipated; such a small piece of soul fragment took Jerry an entire night to absorb.

Buzz—

An invisible wave spread out from his body, like a pebble thrown into a calm lake, creating ripples.

This wave spread rapidly, instantly sweeping through the entire manor.

Whether it was a sleeping person or a resting animal, they were all forcibly awakened by this wave.

“Your Grace, have you finished absorbing it?” Catherine’s voice came from outside the door, with a hint of anxiety and worry.

“Yes, come in.” Jerry responded.

Catherine pushed the door open and quickly walked to Jerry’s side, asking with concern, “How do you feel?”

“Not bad!” Jerry’s lips curled into a confident smile. He clenched his fist, his knuckles cracking, “Come with me!”

As Jerry stepped out, the surrounding scenery changed rapidly, and the two of them instantly arrived at an artificial pond in the backyard. Catherine felt a hint of surprise at the sudden change before her, especially when Jerry performed Apparition. Not only did he not make any contact with her, but he also brought her along in an incredible way, and she herself did not feel the slightest discomfort.

Before Catherine could think too much, she saw Jerry simply raise his right hand without the aid of a wand or incantation. Without any spell, magic surged forth in its purest, most primal form, flowing smoothly and naturally like a rushing river.

The next second, the originally calm pond suddenly seemed to boil, with water splashing everywhere. Then, the water in the pond seemed to be given life, turning into countless crystal-clear droplets, lightly leaping into the air, shimmering with colorful light in the sunlight. The ornamental fish in the pond floundered in the mud at the bottom, staring at this scene in horror.

“This…” Catherine was not shocked by the spectacular scene of Jerry creating a world turned upside down; her amazement stemmed from Jerry’s way of using magic. That kind of magical effect triggered by simple gestures without using spells or wands had a primal beauty!

In the afternoon, Andre Albert hurriedly found Jerry.

“Your Grace!” Andre Albert’s greasy face was filled with a flattering smile, looking like a rat that had stolen cream.

He mysteriously took out an envelope from his arms and stuffed it into Jerry’s hand.

“I’ve found the people for you, every one of them carefully selected by me. Should I send them to the basement now or wait until tonight?” Andre Albert lowered his voice, looking around furtively, as if conducting some underground transaction.

Jerry curiously opened the envelope. The next second, his expression was as if he had swallowed a live fly.

Good heavens!

The envelope didn’t contain a letter, but a stack of photos!

The female prisoners in the photos were all scantily clad, striking seductive poses, with various skin colors and age groups; it was simply a dazzling visual feast!

And they were all GIFs!

“I’m supposed to be using them to test spells, what is this supposed to mean?” Jerry said, his face dark, unable to stop himself from cursing, “Am I that kind of person?”

Jerry asked righteously, while simultaneously stuffing the photos into his pocket with lightning speed.

Damn capitalism! He had to take these photos back and critique them properly!

Andre Albert was stunned. He rubbed his hands awkwardly, stammering, “This, Your Grace, I thought…”

“Thought what!” Jerry rolled his eyes unhappily, “Who do you think I am? Am I the kind of person who eats anything he can get?”

“Then, Your Grace, what should we do with these female prisoners?” Andre Albert asked cautiously, afraid of accidentally detonating Jerry, this powder keg.

“How about… just making do? They’re all the same anyway!” He suggested tentatively.

Jerry glanced at him sideways, a playful arc appearing at the corner of his mouth.

“Go ask Catherine! If she says it’s okay, then it’s okay!”

Better forget it; he still wanted to follow the Apostle! Andre Albert thought to himself.

“Your Grace, a letter for you, from Hogwarts!” Catherine, after searching for Jerry in the spacious hall without success, turned to the quiet garden corridor, accidentally running into Jerry whispering with Andre Albert.

“Seraphina Picquery…” Jerry murmured, his brow furrowed slightly, “Catherine, do you know this person?”

Catherine nodded: “Before coming to America, I researched some of the major families in the local magical community in advance. The Picquery family is a well-known wizarding family in Savannah, America. Seraphina Picquery served as the President of the Magical Congress of the United States from 1920 to 1928, leading the Aurors to arrest Grindelwald, although Grindelwald eventually escaped.”

Before coming to America, Dumbledore had instructed Jerry that if he encountered any unsolvable danger, he should seek help from Seraphina Picquery, which showed that Dumbledore had a very good relationship with her! But this was also normal. Grindelwald had told Jerry that Dumbledore, when he was young, was incredibly charming, and he had good relationships with everyone around him, men and women!

“Your Grace, are you considering attending this banquet?” Catherine asked softly.

Jerry looked down at the delicate and solemn invitation in his hand, which clearly stated that the time was next weekend. He nodded slightly.

“Let’s go! Dumbledore specifically mentioned this banquet in his letter and instructed me to attend. Catherine, you can accompany me then!”
