Hogwarts: I will not become the Dark Lord

The towering hedges formed an impenetrable barrier, casting deep, dark shadows across the path. As Jerry stepped into the maze, the outside clamor and the audience's cheers abruptly faded away, leaving only an increasingly profound twilight that dyed the horizon a deep, serene indigo.

“Lumos.”

With a light flick of his wand, a beam of soft light cut through the surrounding dimness, illuminating the path beneath Jerry's feet. After walking about fifty meters, the maze path forked. Just then, a sharp whistle sounded from behind him—Harry and Cedric had entered the maze!

Jerry glanced at the tall hedges around him, then transformed into a raven and flew to the top of the hedges. Anyway, the competition didn't say you couldn't fly, so this doesn't count as cheating, a small loophole doesn't count as a loophole!

“I'm a student, not an Auror from the Ministry of Magic,” Fleur retorted, rolling her eyes at Jerry. “Besides, how would I know that Krum would just use the Cruciatus Curse on people he met? It's an Unforgivable Curse!”

“You should withdraw!” Jerry said, smiling at Fleur.

The power of the two Stunning Spells combined, seeing that it was about to stun the giant spider, Jerry, who had been standing on the tall hedge wall, quietly waved his wand, lightly dissolving the combined Stunning Spell of Harry and Cedric.

The giant spider's eight black eyes flashed with dangerous light. It suddenly waved its sharp pincers, sending Harry and Cedric flying like dead leaves. Cedric crashed heavily into the hedge wall, his wand flew out of his hand, and a piercing pain came from his right thigh, obviously fractured and unable to move.

Harry was thrown into the air and eventually landed less than a foot away from the Triwizard Cup. The reachable distance made him almost feel the cup's coldness and glory.

“Jerry, great!” Harry breathed a sigh of relief when he saw Jerry. His savior had arrived.

“Quick, take the trophy and end the competition!” Jerry urged Harry.

“Harry, now is not the time to hesitate!” Jerry's tone revealed a hint of impatience. “After the competition, you still have to go to the hospital wing to treat your wounds!”

“Besides,” Jerry glanced at the spider with a sharp look, “if you delay any longer, you'll be the one in danger next!”

Seeing that it couldn't do anything to Jerry and Cedric, the giant spider turned around and slowly crawled towards Harry.

Watching the spider getting closer and closer to him, waving its sharp pincers, Harry swallowed and a resolute look flashed in his eyes. He suddenly reached out and grabbed the Triwizard Cup within reach, disappearing into the maze.

With Harry's departure, the competition officially came to an end, and the giant spider and various traps in the maze all disappeared.

Jerry looked at the place where Harry disappeared, a meaningful smile curling up at the corner of his mouth.

Seeing this, Cedric, feeling a little melancholy and regretful, admired Jerry in his heart. He thought Jerry was happy for Harry's victory!

“Jerry, I've implicated you. Otherwise, you would have definitely won.
