Voldemort's Time Gu technique plan had reached a point where, while not at its absolute peak, further cultivation would yield diminishing returns.

When the Diary Horcrux had devoured enough other Horcruxes, enough other 'selves,' the benefit of consuming more became quite limited.

This wasn't a concern for Voldemort before, as he felt no sense of crisis. He didn't know what Roger had been up to, or how much Roger had grown.

But now, the situation was different.

Since entering the Ministry of Magic, a glimpse of Roger's true power had been revealed to him.

He could no longer pretend to ignore it.

So, upon reaching this bottleneck, Voldemort decisively took the Diary Horcrux, a soul fragment recording his younger self's mindset, a step further.

He granted it a physical body!

Logically, the next step would be for the young Tom Riddle to replace the older Voldemort, completing the self-replacement.

But a minor accident occurred along the way.

This was the Time Archive Plan that Grindelwald had mentioned.

But while Voldemort could accept it, the young Tom Riddle found it hard to accept.

The word 'Gu' in Time Gu technique already reveals the essence of this art.

It is a brutal technique where a large number of similar beings kill each other to determine the Gu King.

Even though the Diary Horcrux had some advantages, it didn't mean it was absolutely safe.
