Chapter 805: Before Departure

Harry woke up suddenly and completely at 5:30 the next morning, as if someone was shouting in his ear.

For a brief moment he lay firmly on the bed, the scene of the disciplinary hearing filling every corner of his mind, and it was almost unbearable for Harry, who jumped out of bed and put on his glasses.

Fan Lin had already left early, and he was not the only one who left today. In Fan Lin's words, if possible, he would very much like to accompany Harry to the hearing.

Mrs Weasley had cleaned his jeans and T-shirt and put them at the foot of the bed. The blank painting on the wall was also giggling. Ron, lying on his back sprawled with his mouth open, fell asleep quickly, not being woken when Harry crossed the room.

Harry stepped out of the bedroom and stood on the floor and closed the door softly behind him. Harry tried to think about this problem systematically again, he looked at Ron's appearance, maybe they could never be classmates at Hogwarts again.

Harry went downstairs calmly, passed the head decorations of Kreacher's ancestors, and then down into the kitchen.

He had hoped that the kitchen was empty right now, or that it was just Van Lin himself... But when Harry reached the door, he heard muffled conversations on the other side.

He opened the door and saw Mr. and Mrs. Weasley, Sirius, Lupine and Tonks all sitting inside, and Van Lin and Hermione at the end of the table... It was almost as if they were waiting for him Same.

All were well-dressed except Mrs Weasley, who wore a padded purple dressing gown.

She was busy with breakfast when Harry came in.

Breakfast, Mrs. Weasley said hastily, drawing out her wand.

M-mor-morning, Harry, said Tonks, yawning. Her hair was white and slightly curly this morning. Come and sit down. She pulled out a chair and moved the next one out of the way.

What would you like, Harry? asked Mrs. Weasley. Porridge? Muffins? Kippers? Bacon and eggs? Toast?

Just—just toast, thanks, said Harry. Lupine glanced at Harry, then said to Tonks, What did you say about Squeam?

Oh...yeah...well, we need to be more careful, he's asked Kingsley and me some weird questions... Harry felt a vague sense of gratitude that he didn't need to be part of this conversation. His body is wriggling.

Mrs. Weasley put two slices of toast and orange marmalade in front of Harry; he tried to eat them, but it was tasteless. Mrs. Weasley sat on the other side of him, and started fussing over his T-shirt, flattening the label and smoothing out the creases from the shoulder. But Harry wished she wouldn't.

…and I have to tell Dumbledore that I won't be on the night shift tomorrow night, I'm just too-so-tired, Tonks finished with another big yawn.

You have to learn to adapt, Tonks. Fan Lin laughed, Moody said, this is a very important job, but after we leave, there will only be Mr. Weasley and Weasley Mrs. and Mr. Lupine can help you, but Bill should be back in a couple of days...

Oh, thank God, I won't let him go. Tonks said with a long mouth.

I'll do it for you, said Mrs. Weasley. I'm fine. I've got a report to finish anyway.

Instead of wizarding robes, Mr Weasley wore pinstriped trousers and an old-fashioned bomber jacket. He turned his head from Tonks to Harry.

How does it feel?

Harry shrugged, he was a little numb, the teasing of Van Lin and Tonks didn't arouse his half interest.

It'll be over soon, Mr. Weasley cheered up. You'll be all right in a few hours.

The hearing was held in the office of Emira Burns, who was on the same floor as me.

She's the head of the Magic Enforcement Service, the department that's investigating you.

Emila Burns is a good person, Harry, Tonks said sincerely, she is fair, and she will listen to your report carefully.

Harry nodded, he still had nothing to say, in fact, he was a bit out of place at this moment.

Come on, Harry, it's not a big deal, and... Fan Lin leaned closer and said, Hermione and I agree that you will meet whoever you want to see.

Meeting people?

Of course it's Dumbledore. Hermione gave Fan Lin a sideways glance, That's it, Harry, it's impossible for Dumbledore to ignore you, and...

And don't lose heart, said Sirius suddenly, be polite and close to the facts.

Harry nodded again.

The law is on your side, Lupine said calmly. Even underage wizards are allowed to use magic in moments of life and death.

Suddenly a cold snap ran from Harry's neck to his back; for a moment Harry thought someone had cast a Disillusionment spell on him, and then he realized it was Mrs Weasley brushing his hair with a wet comb. She pressed hard on top of Harry's head.

Has your hair ever been flat and tame? Mrs. Weasley asked disappointedly.

Harry shook his head.

Mr. Weasley checked his watch and looked up at Harry. I think we're leaving now, he said. We're a little early, but I think it's better for you to go to the Ministry of Magic sooner than to be here wandering around like ants on a hot pot.

Okay, Harry replied automatically, putting down his toast and standing up.

You'll be fine, Harry, Tonks said, rubbing Harry's shoulder like a good friend.

Good luck, said Lupine, I'm sure you'll be all right.

If things don't go your way, Sirius said through gritted teeth, I will visit Emira Burns for you, and Scrimgeour, the Auror department should...

Forget it, don't say it's useless, Sirius. Fan Lin shook his head, Listen, Harry, this is something that shouldn't be taken to heart at all. In fact, they summoned the Wizenga for you. It is already against the law for members of Mountor to come to the hearing...

And... Hermione went on, according to the law, you are legal too.

Harry smiled weakly.

Mrs. Weasley gave him a hug. We'll all be praying for you, she said

Okay, said Harry, well... goodbye then.
