The booster does not separate during recovery and is bundled on the core stage rocket for recovery as a whole. The engine of the latter is decelerated to control the landing;
The new Long March 7 is bundled with four 3.35-meter-meter boosters and two YF100K boosters. The core stage is still 3.35 meters and one YF100K. There are a total of 9 YF100K thrusters with a thrust of 1,125 tons and a take-off mass of 890 tons. It is also recovered as a whole and has a LEO capacity. 20 tons.
Although the cost has increased a lot and the dead weight recovered is also large, the technical route is conservative and easy to implement, but the carrying coefficient is a bit impressive... but it has also met the positioning requirements, right?
