Chapter 1110 Buddhist Call

The girl's heart twitched, she turned around with red eyes, and said, "As expected, you still..."

Before he could finish speaking, the monk suddenly grabbed her shoulders, bowed his head and kissed her, and said, "I will marry you, and you will be my Mrs. Yazhai!"

The monk scratched his head and said, "This..."

The girl glared at him.

"Return! Return!"

"then you……"

The girl turned around and said with a blushing face, "Would you like to be my lord?"

"do not want!"

The girl's heart twitched, she turned around with red eyes, and said, "As expected, you still..."

Before he could finish speaking, the monk suddenly grabbed her shoulders, bowed his head and kissed her, and said, "I will marry you, and you will be my Mrs. Yazhai!"

Princess Gaoyang told about her past acquaintance with Monk Bianji, which caused a lot of sighs in the live broadcast room.

"I didn't expect them to know each other since they were young, they are really childhood sweethearts!"

"Such a beautiful relationship, Buddhism will surely make it come true?"

"Not necessarily. Monk Bianji told the stories behind those prayers, not all of which show that Buddhism has no room for change, let alone promote good luck. I guess, this time Buddhism is still vicious."

"I'm also sweating for Monk Bianji. If he can't return to vulgarity successfully, he might cause disaster!"

"What kind of disaster can there be? Does Buddhism dare to kill people?"

All eyes were on Monk Bianji, paying attention to his return to secular life.

After much consideration, Monk Bianji found Master again.

"I still have to return to vulgarity. I just want to be with Gao Yang in this life, and I don't want to become a Buddha."

His master stared at him for a long time, and finally nodded helplessly and said: "Because you are young and promising, you are the first of the nine monks selected by His Majesty the Tang Dynasty to translate the scriptures, so your return to the vulgar is not a one-time job." It is not for the teacher to make decisions about human beings.”

Monk Bianji was taken aback for a moment, so who can call the shots?

King Tang?

still···

"Buddha. If you want to return to vulgarity, as a teacher, you need to report to Buddha and ask him for permission."

Monk Bianji bowed his head and said nothing, he was very disturbed, because he knew the true face of the Buddha, and the several couples begged him hard, but to no avail.

Can you do what you want?

"Leave first, I will ask the Buddha."

His master said something dejectedly and waved his hand.

After the monk Bianji left blankly, he knew that there was little hope.

You must know that there are many rules and regulations in Buddhism, and they are very strict.

The second disciple of the Buddha, Jin Chanzi, who is also the well-known Tang Sanzang, was also beaten down and suffered the pain of reincarnation because he accidentally dozed off while listening to the Buddha's lecture.

That's what happened:

Tathagata said: "Holy Monk, you were my two disciples in the previous life, named Jin Chanzi. Because you didn't listen to the Dharma and despised my great teaching, you demoted your true spirit and reincarnated in the Eastern Land. Now I am happy to take refuge and uphold I am a blessing, and I take advantage of my teachings, take away the scriptures, have great results, and be promoted to a great position, you are the Buddha of Zhantan Gongde." It can be said that he did not concentrate when listening to the Dharma. Didn't say he was dozing off.

Then, Jin Chan is the second disciple of the Tathagata. Those who can become Buddha must have a broad mind. Jin Chanzi embarked on a great cause of learning Buddhist scriptures.

Because, although it is difficult to learn from the scriptures, it is also a gilded journey to re-understand the true meaning of Buddhism, not to mention that after learning the scriptures, you will be granted the Buddha's fruit.

Therefore, the Buddha chose to let Tang Sanzang, the golden cicada, complete this journey of benefiting the common people, and also wanted him to pass on forever.

Even if the Tathagata admired Jin Chanzi very much, Buddhism at that time advocated Theravada Dharma. Maybe Jin Chanzi had doubts and wanted to seek what was in his heart. Tathagata let him go back to reincarnation, hoping that he could find the Mahayana Dharma he was looking for.

But who can guarantee that Jin Chanzi can live up to the Buddha's expectations and obtain the scriptures to benefit all people?

There are many difficulties and dangers on the way to learn the scriptures, and if one accidentally dies at the hands of the goblin, what's the deal?

As for the rules of heaven, it can also be called very strict. For example, Drifting accidentally broke the glass cup and was demoted to the heart with ten thousand swords.

Monk Bianji anxiously waited for Master's reply, but what he finally waited for was Buddha's call.

If it was before, he would be very honored and very happy to be summoned by the Buddha, but this is not the case now.

In Hezhou, Xiniu, Lingshan towers above the clouds, Buddha's light shines all over the land, and tens of thousands of living beings worship it!

In Daleiyin Temple, countless Buddhas sit on lotus flowers, with compassionate faces and smiling faces.

And at the highest point, above the golden lotus, the figure of the Great Sun Tathagata Buddha is vast, as if the sky and the earth are above his head!

The next moment, Monk Bianji was dressed in civilian clothes, stepped on auspicious clouds, and slowly entered Leiyin Temple.

There was no envy on his face, only determination.

"Participate in Buddha!"

Monk Bianji didn't bow down, but he still gave a deep salute.

"Are you the debater?"

The Tathagata Buddha's eyes closed slightly, and his voice rang out loudly, as if the entire Lingshan Mountain was trembling!

The three thousand Buddhas sitting upright have respectful expressions on their faces.

"Buzz!"

The golden Buddha statue in Daleiyin Temple began to hum and echo, like the sound of a golden drum.

Bianji nodded, and he looked up at the Buddha, only to see that he was shrouded in golden light, and he was staring at himself like eyes that penetrated everything.

"Is it you who want to return to vulgarity? For a woman?"

The sound made the surrounding air tremble, and the Buddha hoped to scare off Bianji with his momentum, after all he was the most promising young monk.

Monk Bianji nodded, and looked at him with firm eyes.

"Once upon a time there was a very rich and benevolent man who did many good deeds and accumulated a lot of merit.

One day, when he was studying at home, he suddenly saw a person walking by the window. He was suddenly attracted by the man's face, and chased him out the door, but he was gone.

From then on, he wanted to see that person wholeheartedly, and searched all over the world, but he couldn't find him.

Once in a dream, the Bodhisattva asked him if he had accumulated a lot of virtue, did he have any requirements.

He said he just wanted to see that person.

The Bodhisattva said, if you really want to see that person, you must abandon your human body in this life and be reborn as a big tree. After 500 years, you may have a chance to see that person again.

He decided to make a tree.Soon he died and reincarnated as a big tree by the river. For 500 years, I have suffered the pain of being a tree, endured the wind and rain, unable to move, unable to speak, just to see that person. One day after 500 years, suddenly a person came from far away from the river, it was the person he dreamed of.

He was so excited that he danced and shook the branches and leaves all over his body, trying hard to get the man's attention.

How much he wanted that man to come to his attention. How much he wanted the man to come to his shade to rest and enjoy the shade.

But the man passed him without even looking at him.

Chapter 1111

He was disappointed, he was wronged, and he didn't know why such a little fate could not be cultivated in 500 years.

That night I dreamed of Bodhisattva again.

The Bodhisattva said that if he still wanted to see that person, he would build a tree for another 500 years, and maybe he would get a little fate.

He felt that since he had waited 500 years, it would be nothing to wait another 500 years.

He really liked that guy.

In this way, he stood by the river for another 500 years. Finally one day after 500 years, that person came from afar from the river again.

This time he was not excited, did not waver, just stood there quietly.

For this day, he gave up the opportunity to be a human being, and made a 1000-year-old tree foolishly. He has suffered too much and hurt too many hearts.

He has been able to wait for that person's arrival with a peaceful heart.

I saw the man walking towards him, walked under his shade, sat down safely, and sat for seven to seven days.

It turned out that that person was the Buddha Sakyamuni, and this tree was the Bodhi tree, which later became a Buddha together with the Buddha. "

The Buddha suddenly said something that had nothing to do with returning to vulgarity, and the monk Bianji was a little puzzled.

At the end of the hearing, he understood that this was the Buddha's advice to himself in another way.

Sure enough, the Buddha continued:

"In fact, each of us always has a bodhi tree in our hearts. Some people succeed because they stick to it, and some people end up failing miserably because they run away from the battle.

One bodhi tree, two outlooks on life.

Among all living beings, what we need to look for is such a bodhi tree. As long as it is worth looking forward to, no matter how far or how difficult it is, we should persevere.

Of course, you are doing it for a woman, for the holy love in your heart, but it used to be your holy love to devote yourself to the Buddha, do you really want to waste all your previous efforts? "

After the Tathagata Buddha's words fell, all the Buddhas present fell silent.

These people have gone through the six sufferings in the world and converted to Buddhism after seeing through the red dust.

Seeing that some people want to return to vulgarity now, in fact, I still have a different view in my heart.

Some people think that if they have a Buddha in their hearts, it doesn’t matter whether their bodies are monks or not, while others think that disrespecting the Buddha is disrespectful to the Buddha.

Seeing that Monk Bianji remained silent, the Buddha said again:

"It is said that people have one hundred and eight kinds of afflictions, and Sakyamuni said that these afflictions are the culprits that trap human beings in suffering.

Among these afflictions, there are three most powerful ones, namely "desire", "foolishness" and "anger", which are called "three poisons".

The worldly people are creatures living under the control of the "three poisons".

I want to live a better life than others, I want to make money easily, I want to get ahead as soon as possible.

This desire for material and fame is hidden in everyone's heart.

If these desires are not fulfilled, it turns into anger: "Why didn't things go my way?"

In addition to being angry, you will feel jealous of those successful people.

The average person will be dominated by such troubles anytime and anywhere.

However, if people are at the mercy of the "three poisons", they will never feel happiness.

Once, Shakyamuni Buddha used such a story to describe people's greed and describe the scene of people indulging in desire.

He once said that there is no other story that can express human greed so vividly.

The story goes like this:

One day in late autumn, amidst the fallen leaves and the cold wind, a traveler hurried home.

When he walked to a certain place, he suddenly looked down and saw a white thing under his feet. On closer inspection, it turned out to be a human bone.

How can there be such a large number of human bones here?He couldn't help being horrified, but also puzzled.

He just ran forward, and when he looked up, he saw a huge tiger approaching him with a roar.

The traveler was so frightened that he was out of his wits: "Ah! So many human bones turned out to be leftovers eaten by tigers."

He hurriedly turned around and ran for his life, but in a panic, he ran up a cliff and ran up a cliff.

Looking around, there was a pine tree on the cliff, and he quickly climbed up, but the tiger was a cat, and it opened its terrifying giant claws, and began to climb the tree.

"Today, my life is over!" Just when he was in despair, he suddenly saw a vine hanging below him. He had no choice but to slide down the vine, but the vine didn't reach the bottom, and the traveler was suspended in the air. middle.

Below is the sea with strong winds, huge waves, and raging waves.

Although the tiger above couldn't climb down the vine, it still stared at him with its tongue out and drooling, just like the so-called "watching like a tiger".
