Zhu Weiqiong happily jumped up and down beside him, making ear-piercing chirps.

"Little Pig is a good name, it's really cute." Hermione lured the owl over with bread crumbs.

It flew right up to Hermione, making her giggle.

The dinner went on until after ten o'clock, and finally ended with laughter.

The next day, because Sirius was also going to Hogwarts, Daji did not take the Hogwarts Express back to school at Nine and Three-quarters Station, but took the Knight Bus back to Hogwarts.

They had a hasty breakfast, put on their coats and scarves, and were ready to go.

It was a gray and chilly January morning.

At seven o'clock in the morning, a bright purple three-decker bus descended from the sky and appeared at the Burrow door on time. The Weasleys stood at the door and waved them away.

The last stop on the knight bus was Diagon Alley, and Sirius was already waiting for them on the bus.

Ivan climbed into the car, and just like last time, he saw all kinds of chairs on the car, and they didn't care about matching, and they surrounded the window indiscriminately.

Chapter 250 tit for tat

The chairs on the Knight's Bus seemed to be randomly found in different Muggle streets, and several wizards were sitting on them, looking for a comfortable position.

Someone's shopping bag slipped to the other side of the car because of the heavy parking, and frog eggs, cockroaches and custard were scattered all over the floor.

"We have to sit separately. Today is the first working day after the holiday, and there are a lot of people on the bus." Sirius explained, "Harry, you sit in the empty seat next to me, and the others sit behind me. Percy, take care of it."

"Don't worry, leave it to me!" Percy agreed with a look on his face. He raised the badge of the male student council chairman on his chest, and led Aiwen and the others to the back.

"I've always wanted to sit in this!" said Ron happily, who was looking around and around excitedly in the seat behind Harry.

Ivan and Hermione continued to walk backwards, and they found two empty seats at the back of the car.

No sooner had the two of them sat down than the car started up again, wobbling around the Burrow, twisting and turning.

There was another loud bang, and everyone in the car rushed forward.

Ron flew up from his chair, and the piglet on his lap wrenched itself out of its cage, and flew to the back of the carriage, flapping its wings and landing on Hermione's shoulder. The owl has been particularly fond of clinging to Hermione since she fed it crumbs last night.

Hermione held Ivan tightly with her right hand, and Aiwen grabbed the candle holder beside her, and the two barely fell.

He looked out the window, and they seemed to be speeding down a highway.

"This is outside Birmingham." Stan Parker, the conductor, came over and greeted enthusiastically, "Hello, I went to the shop in Diagon Alley yesterday. I didn't buy a newspaper. There were too many people. By the time it was my turn, the papers were sold out. But it doesn't matter, I tell everyone, I already have Blake's autograph."

Ivan and Hermione each handed Stan eleven Sickles, and he handed them the tickets.

On the Muggle street, the Knight Bus lurched menacingly, passing an inner line of cars, and ramming into the surrounding pavement.

Hermione covered her eyes in fright, and the piglet swung happily on her shoulder.

With a bang, the chairs all slid back, and the Knight Bus jumped from the Birmingham Highway into a quiet country lane, full of twists and turns.

As the car rolled over the curb left and right, hedges jumped out of the way. They drove onto a downtown main road, a viaduct in the midst of mountains, and then a cold, windy street between tall buildings, each time with a loud bang.

"Can't they drive a little slower?!" Hermione said tremblingly.

"This car has only one speed!" Ivan supported Hermione with one hand, and tightly held the candle holder beside him with the other so that they would not be thrown out.

Compared to the Hogwarts Express, the comfort level of the Knight Bus is simply terrible.

Especially when the car is full of people, the environment in the car is even worse than the time Ivan and Harry and Ron took Mr. Weasley's car to school last year.

"Attention, the next stop is Hogwarts." Stan said happily, staggering over without being affected at all.

In the carriage not far away, there were bursts of vomiting and terrible clacking sounds.

Ai Wen opened the window a small gap, and with the cold fresh air, he saw the Knight bus speeding past a dilapidated small bar.

Xiaodian dodged to avoid being hit.

It was the Pig's Head Pub, and the signboard of the severed pig's head creaked in the cold wind. Not far away was the snow-covered Hogsmeade village, and there was no one on the street.

Pieces of snowflakes hit the large front windows of the car, the Knight Bus accelerated again, and the car finally wobbled to a stop outside the gate of Hogwarts.

"Here we are, kids!" Sirius helped unload everyone's luggage from the car.

Immediately after, Ron was the second to get out of the car.

His complexion was very bad, and he was knocked off the seat six times along the way, and he whispered, "I don't want to sit on this thing again."

Ivan and the others also got out of the car, and everyone waved to Stan.

The Knight Bus restarted and disappeared out of thin air.

Nine people struggled to drag their boxes along the icy driveway to the castle. Although it was cold, everyone was very excited and talked about interesting topics.

After a few seconds, the voice stopped instantly.

In front of the gate of the school wall, Ivan saw Snape in a black robe who came to greet them. He had a cold smirk on his face, his black eyes narrowed, and he looked at the little boy with hatred. Sirius.

Ivan naively thought that after Snape knew the truth about Lily's death and helped them catch Peter Pettigrew, his attitude towards them would improve.

But he found he was wrong, Snape was just as disgusted as before, if not more.

"Welcome, welcome!" he said in that low, sarcastic tone.

"What are you doing here?" Sirius said immediately warily, his hand resting naturally on the wand at his waist.

"I'm here on Dumbledore's order," Snape said disgustedly. "I'm here to meet the new Defense Against the Dark Arts professor. It's a terrible job."

"Where are the other professors?" Harry asked. "Why didn't Hagrid come?"

"Obviously, except for me, the other staff members are unwilling to accept this unpleasant job. They have great opinions on a murderer becoming a professor at the school." Snape said, his voice became more and more sinister, "But it's not surprising, the headmaster always likes to hire some strange guys..."

"Go away!" Sirius yelled, "I don't need you to greet me, and get out of my sight before I can't help but beat you up."

"That's just right, I didn't intend to waste too much time here." The sneer on Snape's face became more obvious, "I'm not like you, I don't have unlimited free time."

Snape turned around, ready to leave.

"Wait!" cried Sirius suddenly, frowning. "I've heard a lot lately about the things you did to Harry at school while I was away. I must Remind you, if you dare to find excuses to bully Harry, I will find you to settle accounts."

"How touching, my dear godfather's concern for his godson." Snape sneered. "You must find that Potter is very similar to his father?"

"Not bad," replied Sirius proudly.

"Then you should know that he's cocky and conceited, and criticism falls on his ears," Snape said tactfully.

"Hmph!" Sirius pulled out his wand, and strode towards Snape.

Snape also showed his wand, and the two struck a pose.

Sirius' face was livid, Snape seemed to be calculating, his eyes flicked back and forth between Sirius' face and the tip of his staff.

"Sirius!" Harry called, but he didn't seem to hear.

"I warned you, Snotlite!" Sirius' face was less than a foot away from Snape's, "Dumbledore may think you've been reformed, but I don't think so..."

"Oh, then why didn't you just tell him?!" Snape murmured. "Are you worried that he won't take a murderer seriously? Hiring a pug to teach at Hogwarts is a shame. The most absurd thing I've ever seen."

Chapter 251 The New Semester Begins

Dumbledore asked Snape to meet Sirius, obviously creating an opportunity, hoping that the two of them could reconcile and the relationship would not be as tense as before.

In other people's eyes, there is nothing unresolvable between the two people, but some unpleasant past events in the student days.

But the degree to which they hate each other is completely beyond everyone's imagination.

Snape seems to have completely transferred all his hatred for Harry's father James to Sirius, and the same is true for Sirius. On top of his dislike for Snape, he inherited his friend James' hatred for Snape. Pu's disgust.

They didn't like each other, wishing they could hit each other directly.

Hope they can reconcile as before, it's just a dream.Dumbledore's doing this was completely futile, and it even made things more complicated.

"Pug?!" Sirius raised his wand and roared loudly, "It's really interesting, which one of us is more like a running dog? Let me see, you must still be looking forward to the return of your old master Voldemort, and then seek refuge again... ..."

"Shut up, don't mention that name in front of me." Snape gritted his teeth and raised his wand as well.

The battle was on the verge of breaking out, and Harry, who was the closest, rushed over to stop them.

"No, Sirius..." Harry shouted.

"Get out of the way, Harry, do you think I'm a coward?" Sirius snarled, trying to push Harry away, but Harry was determined not to move.

"Well, I suppose so," Snape said sarcastically.

"Harry, get out of the way!" Sirius yelled, pushing Harry aside with a slap.

As Harry moved away, a thick red glow from the end of his wand flew straight at Snape.

Snape had been prepared, he took a step back, waved his wand, and knocked Sirius' spell away. There was a flash of bright green sparks, and a branch beside him turned into a giant python. It hissed and slid towards Sirius.

Instead of retreating, Sirius advanced, waving his wand wildly, swishing three spells.

One of them hit the python that was approaching him, the python turned into black smoke and disappeared, and the remaining two curses flew towards Snape at a very fast speed.

Snape took another step back, quickly chanting a spell, and at the nick of time, a pale white barrier appeared in front of him, blocking Sirius' attack.

The sudden battle left everyone dumbfounded.

Ivan froze for a moment, then hurriedly pulled out his wand and rushed over, stopping among them.

Seeing Ivan rushing in, neither Sirius nor Snape launched another attack. They gasped and looked at each other with extreme contempt on their faces.

"Stop, stop, are you two crazy?!" Ivan shouted, "Sirius, this is Hogwarts, if other students see it..."

"I don't care!" growled Sirius.

"I don't have time to mess around here with a mad dog." Ivan's words seemed to bring Snape back to his senses, and he couldn't let other students see them like this.

Snape's face was gloomy and terrible, he gave Sirius a disgusted look, put his wand in his pocket, turned his back and strode towards the school castle.

He walked away, Sirius staring after him, his wand dangling to the side.

When Snape's figure disappeared completely, loud cheers erupted from the crowd.

"Great, we've wanted to do this for a long time, give Snape a hard time!" Fred and George said excitedly, and came over to pat Sirius.

"I can't believe it, what did I just see?! We finally don't have to be afraid of this old bat! Knock him to the ground, Sirius, hard..." Ron also recovered from the shock, changing Gotta get excited.

"This is not a joke, Ron!" Hermione looked serious, and she and Ginny beside her looked very scared, "Sirius, you were too excited just now, you shouldn't attack Snape, this will Get you into big trouble."

"I'm not afraid of any trouble." Sirius panted heavily, as if he had just finished a long-distance run.

"But you are professors at the school, I mean..."

"Don't worry, Hermione, no one will know about this, it's just two old classmates catching up." Sirius waved his hand, signaling Hermione not to take it to heart.

The unexpected brief fight seemed to foreshadow what was to come in the second half of this year.

With the tense relationship between Sirius and Snape, this fight wasn't the first and definitely won't be the last.

There is no doubt that all Gryffindor students support Sirius, and Snape is the head of Slytherin house.

If such a battle happens again, it should not be as simple as a battle between the two...

Aiwen can imagine that the second semester of this year will be very exciting.

As Sirius said, no one except Ivan, Harry, Hermione and the Weasleys knew about this little episode that happened at the school gate.

After more than 20 minutes, Ivan and the others separated from Sirius at the gate of the castle. He was going to Dumbledore's office, and the others returned to the Gryffindor common room.

The little wizards who had returned to school a few days ago can be seen everywhere in the corridor. When they saw Ivan and the others, except for the students of Slytherin College who continued to remain indifferent, everyone else greeted them warmly .

In fact, their attitude is much more enthusiastic than before.

There were even quite a few girls who rushed over to get Ivan and Harry to sign their names.

Ivan could feel that after the Sirius incident was repeatedly hyped by the media, he and Harry, as direct participants, had a greater reputation in the school than before.

When Ivan returned to the Gryffindor Tower, he found the portrait at the door of the common room. The fat woman had already returned, and she greeted him equally warmly.

As soon as he climbed in, thunderous cheers erupted in the common room.

All the students of Gryffindor College rushed over. They surrounded Ivan, Harry, Hermione, and Ron in the center and asked them about Professor Lupine, Sirius, and Peter Pettigrew.

Although everyone knew what happened from the newspapers, those who saw the incident in person were still very excited.

They chatted noisyly for a long time before Aiwen seized the opportunity to rush into his bedroom.

The bedroom was exactly the same as when he left a few days ago, and the house elves had already arranged his luggage and bed.

Behind him, Colin followed.
