Now that he has obtained the heaven-defying opportunity of "rebirth", it is natural that the sooner he can practice Qinglian Chan, the better.What he did just now was the first step in practicing Qinglian Chan.

To practice Qinglian Zen, you first need to visualize the Qinglian stone statue in the sea of ​​consciousness, and then maintain the existence of the Buddha statue in the sea of ​​consciousness for twelve hours a day, and then close the eyes, ears, nose, tongue, body, and mind in turn. Consciousness, while closing the six consciousnesses of eyes, ears, nose, tongue, body, and mind, one can understand the six objects of form, sound, smell, taste, touch, and dharma.

In this way, after three years, Qinglian Zen can be regarded as practiced.

After practicing Qinglian Chan, the whole person will undergo a radical change.This change is like the rebirth of a phoenix. No matter how poor the aptitude was before, after practicing Qinglian Chan, one can raise one's aptitude to the rank of top geniuses. The worse the aptitude, the higher the improvement.

In his previous life, his cultivation base before his death was at the peak of my Dao period. It is because of practicing Qinglian Chan.Otherwise, with his aptitude, even with the help of many adventures, it is impossible to reach the peak of my Dao stage.

With his original aptitude, he will be able to reach the peak of the Melting Moon stage if he reaches the top of the sky, and it is impossible to reach the Riyin stage. As for my Dao stage?Then don't even think about it.

Of course, making the Lingtai clear and the six roots pure is only an additional effect of practicing Qinglian Zen, but even if it is an additional use, it is enough to make people who practice Qinglian Zen resist most of the world's mind-confusing techniques.

However, Qinglian Zen is not easy to practice, not only is it not easy to practice, it is even very dangerous.The reason why he visualized the Buddha statue and successfully closed the nose consciousness so lightly just now is because he has practiced it once before, and he has already practiced it once, and it will be much easier to practice it a second time.And what he did just now was to visualize the Buddha statue and close the nose consciousness, which was just the first step in practicing Qinglian Chan.If even this step is very difficult for him, then he doesn't even need to practice at all, and it is impossible for him to succeed.

So don't look at what he accomplished so lightly, if it were another person, it might not be like this.

First of all, just the step of visualizing and maintaining the Qinglian Stone Buddha can stump most monks.It is not difficult to visualize this step, and many people can do it. What is really rare is the second step—maintaining the existence of the Qinglian Stone Buddha!

Because this requires extremely pure thoughts, which is difficult for most monks to do.Because people's hearts are filled with all kinds of complicated thoughts at all times. This is a natural state of people, an instinct, and it is difficult to control.This is what the so-called "mind and mind" is talking about.In the process of practicing Qinglian Zen, it is necessary to subdue this mind, strip away the complicated thoughts one by one, and finally leave only an extremely pure thought to visualize and maintain the Qinglian Stone Buddha.

This is very difficult, and only those who have cultivated their minds all the year round and have a high level of cultivation can do it.

Therefore, unless it is those old monks who have been sitting in meditation all year round in ancient temples hidden in the mountains, it is impossible for ordinary monks to visualize the Qinglian Stone Buddha and maintain it once like him.Moreover, even those old monks with unfathomable xinxing cultivation may not be able to do it for everyone.And this is only the first difficulty in practicing Qinglian Zen, and there is a second difficulty.

The second difficulty is the difficulty of closing the six senses. This is the real difficulty and danger of practicing Qinglian Chan.Because this step requires you to close the six senses, and to achieve this step, you must have great wisdom, great perseverance, and great courage.Among the six senses, closing the mind is the most difficult, followed by closing the body, closing the eyes and closing the mouth, and closing the nose and ears are the easiest.

Closed-nose meditation and closed-ears meditation are nothing, it’s just that you can’t smell the smell or hear the sound, and you don’t need too much self-control.These two steps can be said to be the easiest, not even as difficult as maintaining the existence of the Qinglian Stone Buddha.

But closing the eyes is different from closing the mouth, at least half a year without speaking or opening the eyes, this requires a strong self-control, a little carelessness may lead to relapse.Don't you see that those eminent monks and great virtues also often practice closed-mouth meditation?It can be seen that practicing closed mouth meditation is also a challenge for these eminent monks, otherwise there is no need to practice it.

Chapter 22 The Zen of Qinglian

In his last life, he was stuck in these two stages for a long time.

But closed mouth meditation and closed eye meditation are not the most difficult. The most difficult ones are closed body meditation and closed mind meditation. Practicing these two meditations requires people to close their body consciousness and consciousness. In short, they cannot move or think.Sitting there, unable to eat, drink, hear, smell, see, speak, move, or think, and sit for a year is really too difficult, and few people in the world can do it arrive.

Therefore, Qinglian Zen is very difficult to practice.In fact, I also know that it should be like this, because if Qinglian Zen is easy to practice, wouldn't the sect with Qinglian Zen be invincible long ago?

Song Mingting got up and took a sip of tea, then went back to bed again.

Closed body meditation and closed mind meditation are not only difficult, but also extremely dangerous to practice.Because when practicing closed mind meditation, you have to close all perceptions of the outside world and plunge your consciousness into eternal darkness. This state is actually no different from death.And if you want to practice Qinglian Zen, you must maintain this state for half a year.Sitting still and unconsciously for half a year will easily assimilate people with the mountains and rivers. In this way, people will never be able to wake up again, even with external stimuli.At that time, it will be the real Tuo Ti Tong Shan.

This is an extremely dangerous step. If you cross it, the sea and the sky will open up, but if you fail to cross it, you will die.But the vast majority of people who tried to practice Qinglian Zen in history did not cross it.

In his previous life, he almost died at this step.But in this life, even if he has already practiced it once, he still dare not say that he can [-]% pass the level of closed mind meditation.

So practicing Qinglian Chan is actually a very dangerous thing.Of course, the risk is great, and the reward is also great.Because Qinglian Zen improves people's aptitude in an all-round way. It can not only remove impurities, dirt, and ailments in the human body little by little, but also greatly improve people's roots. It can also make people's thinking more agile and clear. It greatly enhances people's understanding.

To put it bluntly, aptitude is actually different from root bone and understanding.In his previous life, his aptitude was poor, but it was mainly due to his poor bones, which caused him to lag far behind in cultivation even though he spent several times as much time and energy as others.In terms of savvy, his savvy is actually not bad, of course, it's just not bad, not top-notch.After he practiced Qinglian Zen in his previous life, his roots suddenly became better, and his comprehension became even better, so he soared through the nine heavens all of a sudden, breaking through from the melting moon stage to my Dao stage.

When he was practicing Qinglian Chan just now, the strands of black air that emerged from his body were actually a combination of impurities, dirt, and ailments in his body and the dark, gloomy, and chaotic air in his soul, and it was the embodiment of these things. , Removing these things also means that the roots and understanding have been improved, and the process of practicing Qinglian Zen is actually the process of removing these things.
