Chapter 74 Shadow
The flames burned for a full quarter of an hour, leaving behind only a pool of black debris with a wisp of smoke, and an unpleasant smell.
"No, no more," Kristal muttered to herself as she sat on the chair.
Morris walked over slowly with his wand in hand.
“aguamenti clear water like a spring”
A little dark fire and green smoke were completely extinguished.
"Hill, what's going on?" Kristal was watching from a distance, wanting to take a closer look but not daring to step forward.
Morris checked it and found some residue but nothing left.
Morris: "Burn it clean"
Crystal looked back from side to side: "There is no sound now."
The two fell into silence for a moment.
Another Friday, a day to go to school.
Morris followed the flow of people and went to the lobby to have lunch with his roommates. On the way, he occasionally chatted about new things that had happened recently.
"When I went to duel with the big man from Slytherin in the wild yesterday, he told me a very scary thing. Do you want to know?" Thor said to the others mysteriously.
Simon had reconciled with Saul, and after a few fights, their relationship had improved to a certain extent. At this time, he naturally continued: "We are in school now, what terrible things can happen?"
"I'm not lying to you." Thor lowered his voice, "I'm just telling you, don't tell anyone else."
Simon, James and Morris nodded very cooperatively, indicating to continue his story.
"In the dead of night"
James interjected: "Of course it's quiet at night."
"There are shadows that mysteriously come together."
Morris complained: "It exaggerated the atmosphere of terror and highlighted it."
"Do you still want to listen?" Thor said angrily.
The three of them laughed at him and said, "Talk, talk, keep talking, we are listening."
"Huh," Sol continued, "these shadows are very strange. They look like a person from a distance, but if you look closely, you will find that they are piles of black lines superimposed. And these black lines will keep coming. Move and form shadows into different shapes and postures. Do you think it’s scary?”
"No way." Simon expressed doubt, "Didn't you say this is the safest place in the UK? Could it be that the professor did some experiments and some students saw it and made nonsense of it?"
"I think it's possible." James agreed, and then asked Saul, "Where is this shadow you mentioned? Why don't we go see it together."
"Why don't you believe it?" Saul grunted twice to express his displeasure. "As for the place, well, the big man didn't say anything."
Simon chuckled: "Isn't it because he was afraid that the secret would be revealed?"
"Hey," Thor waved his fist, "Let's fight one on one."
"Okay." Simon greeted him, "I'm not afraid of you now."
"Morris"
"Ah" Morris came back to his senses and found that it was James calling him, "What's wrong?"
James smiled and said, "You're not afraid, are you? Thor just likes to hear these weird things to scare people, so don't worry about it."
Morris shook his head and smiled: "It sounds interesting, so I'm just curious. I just thought about it carefully."
"Come on, let's go, don't think that these are all gone." James put his arm on Morris's shoulder, "There are veal steaks at noon today, let's go quickly, we will be robbed by those foodies if we are late."
"it is good."
"Shadow" Krystal whispered, "those black lines we saw in the book really ran into the real world."
"My roommate said at noon today that he heard it from a Slytherin student." Morris said, "I don't know the specifics. It seems that you haven't heard this rumor."
Crystal: "Well, we don't have such rumors at the moment."
Morris thought for a moment: "Why don't you go find out about it?"
"I"
Morris: "Well, Slytherin is more friendly to pure-bloods like you, and the content found out is more credible and informative."
Krystal: I don’t know why I feel offended.
"it is good."
"Then I'll leave it to you. Let me know if you have any news." After Morris finished speaking, he stood up and left.
"Zoroa, I have a task for you."
In an empty classroom, Morris took out Zoroa who was wandering around with Peeves.
Soraya lay on the ground: Master, are you looking for something again?
"Ahem." Morris said seriously, "What I found this time is not difficult."
Soroa: Master, you told us last time that Ravenclaw’s secret room was not difficult to find, but now that we have found it, there is not even a shadow of it.
Morris: "So just look for the shadow this time."
Soraya:
are you kidding me
"Have you not heard of that rumor from Slytherin?" Morris asked strangely. Soraya and Peeves can get through any cracks in the entire school. It's just a Slytherin common room that Maurice himself can't go to, but it is definitely better for Soraya and Peeves than at home. The back garden is still ripe. It's strange not to hear the legend about shadow among that group of students.
Zoroa immediately sat up: Slytherin Shadow Master, are you talking about the stories made up by those brats?
"Made Stories"
Zoroa scratched his head with his claws: Of course, Peeves and I have already visited the birthplace of the story they told us. Where did the shadow come from? Those brats must have made up a story deliberately because they had too little homework. Out to scare people.
"When did you go to that place?" Morris asked hurriedly.
Soraya tilted his head and lay down again: Master, are you going to that place? It’s so dirty.
Morris's face darkened, and he had a bad feeling in his heart: "Where is it?"
Soraya looked disgusted: In the sewer outside the castle.
Morris: "It seems like Shafiq has to go take a look first."
Soraya:
A second of silence for the beautiful Miss Crystal. Unfortunately, he is just a little fox and cannot free the beautiful Miss from the hands of the big devil.
"By the way, have you found Helena?" Morris asked, "It's been two weeks, it's been so long, and there's no news at all."
Soraya shook his cute little head: She must have gone to stay in the Forbidden Forest. There are no ghosts in the castle. She must be hiding from you, Master.
"What are you talking about?" Morris said angrily, "Don't make random guesses about a woman's thoughts."
Soraya licked the hair on his paws: Yes, yes, master, everything you said is right. I left as soon as I had nothing to do. I almost missed my date with Miss Arianna.
"Go ahead, go ahead." Morris waved his hand, "Pay more attention to that shadow, and tell me if you have any news."
Soraya: Got it, farewell
The little fox darted out of the door in a flash and disappeared.
Morris began trying to analyze a wave. Wait, what did Soraya just say?
Dating Arianna
