Chapter 61 Colson comes to visit

In the afternoon, Jane went back to the RV alone because she had something on her mind, leaving Daisy and Polly to wander around the town.

When Daisy met Polly again, her curiosity did not diminish at all, but became even stronger.

After the conversation in the morning, she learned from Jane about Thor's feat of forcing his way into the temporary camp. Although Jane repeatedly emphasized that Thor was doing it for his hammer, Daisy still thought it was a very crazy thing.

If you break into this seemingly mysterious official organization, you will be killed as an enemy if you are not careful.

But when she knew that Polly had done the same thing with Sol yesterday, she didn't seem to be surprised at all. Instead, she felt that this powerful man should be different.

She herself couldn't explain why.

While the two were wandering around, Daisy finally couldn't hold back her curiosity and asked:

"Polly, did you go there last night too?"

Polly, who was wandering around, was stunned for a moment, then smiled and replied:

"Yes, Jane told you, I also met Thor, but he seemed a little too disappointed that he couldn't pick up the war hammer, so he forgot to escape."

"Then did you pick it up?"

"Hahahaha, of course not. I still overestimated my own strength."

Polly laughed and shook his head:

"I originally saw the news about this Warhammer on the Internet and planned to give it a try. I have always believed that any magical weapon has its own spirituality and can choose its owner independently. Unfortunately, Warhammer did not confirm me , so I have to keep looking for my weapon."

Although Daisy's doubts were answered, she had more questions.

She didn't know why Polly kept insisting on looking for his own weapons, but this did not prevent her from understanding, because there were always various beliefs in this world.

Just like some people think pork is inedible, but at the same time others think the exact opposite.

But now is the time of peace, why do you keep looking for weapons?

And it's still such a cold weapon.

Before she could ask questions, Polly said to herself:

"You may wonder why I am obsessed with finding these weapons. It's just a hobby."

He shook his head:

"Daisy, I have some guesses. The Hulk, Iron Man, and now the magical war hammer have appeared. The world is not peaceful. If I want to protect myself, or even protect those around me, I must have a powerful enough weapon."

"A weapon that no one dares to attack easily"

Polly's eyes shone, and his figure seemed to become very majestic and tall.

Daisy couldn't take her eyes away. Her heart suddenly beat very fast just now. She didn't know why, but she felt that Polly was very handsome at this moment.

"Mr. Polly, your wife must be very happy."

"I'm not married."

Daisy suddenly laughed, looking very happy, and asked again:

"Then where do you plan to go next?"

Polly nodded:

"If nothing else happens, I will probably stay for a few days and then leave."

He paused:

"The name Saul is very interesting to me, and I want to see what surprises he will bring to people."

"You also think it might actually be related to the warhammer and the legend"

Daisy asked in shock.

It has to be said that women are naturally more sensitive to such unrealistic ideas. She and Jane once considered this idea, but were interrupted by Dr. Eric because it was too unrealistic.

Now that Polly was raising this point of view, she couldn't help but be surprised.

Polly smiled and said:

"This is just a conjecture and we still need time to verify it."

.....

An hour later, Polly and Daisy parted ways, each preparing to go home. Daisy originally planned to go to the bar for a drink and talk about life, but Polly's point of view just now gave her a new perspective. She wanted to have a new communication with Jane.

Polly's thoughts were more direct. Daisy gave him a good feeling. He originally planned to have a drink with her in the evening, but his keen sense made him realize that someone was following him behind him, so he had to end the conversation early.

He didn't want to involve Daisy.

When he returned to the hotel, he did not close the door, but sat on the sofa:

"There's no one here. You can show up now. After following you for so long, it's time to have a good chat."

As soon as he finished speaking, a muscular man with short hair walked in from the door.

Polly recognized him immediately as Hawkeye Barton.

Polly shrugged without fear:

"Sir, what's the matter with following me for so long? I don't like being disturbed when I'm dating girls."

Barton stood at the door, his eyes like an eagle:

"I'm here for that arrow."

The implication is straightforward, I am the one who shot you, we know you went to the scene that day and now know your identity.

Polly praised:

"As expected of SHIELD, it's really fast."

He then changed the subject:

"So, are you here to take me back today or are you just planning to come over for a visit?"

Polly's reaction surprised Hawkeye. The man didn't panic at all. Seeing him as if he were seeing an old friend, the conversation between the two was just like ordinary daily greetings.

Hawkeye looked at Polly with great interest. The order he received was to follow and observe to determine whether his behavior should be classified as dangerous and evil.

But he didn't expect that after following him all afternoon, the disguise he was always good at would be seen through.

He didn't speak, glanced at Polly, just moved away from the door and stood aside.

Then, Coulson, dressed in black, walked in from outside.

He is the main person in charge of this mission.

Seeing Colson, Polly smiled. Only then did he realize that his escape from the temporary base yesterday seemed ordinary and simple, but in the eyes of the two of them, the heavily guarded base seemed to be in vain in his eyes. This forces them to be cautious.

Coulson seems to have an easy-to-talk face, but Polly will not be deceived. With Cosmo's experience, he will not easily trust those with honest faces.

After he walked in, he closed the door and said:

"Polly Davis, who lives at No. xxx, New York, joined the Mel Road Police Department one month ago. He was highly motivated during his tenure and was praised by his colleagues. Because he saw the news about Warhammer on the Internet, he took a job for a week. Come here for the holidays.”

Colson sat down on the opposite side of the sofa, looked at him and continued:

"Am I right Mr. Polly?"

Polly shrugged:

"Exactly, sir, your information is more detailed than what I know myself. But I just want to see the hammer. I don't believe the rumors on the Internet. This should not be illegal."

Colson looked calm:

"The blond man has been locked up by us. He doesn't want to say any useful information. Our well-trained agents are worse than ordinary security guards in front of you two. I don't believe your purpose is so simple."

"Shh~"

Polly whistled and said:

"Sir, first of all, you have to believe that there are some extraordinary people in this world. No offense intended. It is not our fault that we are too powerful, because there is always something special that attracts us. Secondly, I am not the same as the blond man. I don’t know him, although his reaction seems to be more desperate than mine.”

He looked at Barton and said:

"Can you ask this gentleman to put down his arrow? It's very tiring to hold it up like this."

Colson glanced at him, and Barton silently put down the bow and arrow that had been pointed at Polly.

Polly continued:

"I also want to ask a question. When Hulk appeared, did he have any purpose? Did Iron Man Tony have any purpose?"

"Don't be too nervous, sir, everyone doesn't want conflict to happen to them."
