Chapter 3 Amnesia

After an unknown amount of time, Al faintly woke up from his coma.

Looking at his clothes that were wet with cold sweat, Al sighed.

Out of habit, I picked up a spare piece of clothing and walked into the bathroom.

The warm water slowly flowed down from his head, Al was still thinking about what just happened.

He has long discovered that this world is not simple. It is not just a world with Marvel heroes, but also a kind of monster hidden in the dark side of the world. Monsters are like shadows, walking in this world.

But not everyone can discover these hidden shadow monsters. Only people with high natural inspiration, or patients who have lost their minds in mental hospitals, can barely see the outlines of these monsters.

The life level of shadow monsters is completely different from that of humans. For humans, just discovering the existence of these shadow monsters can make people around them lose their minds.

The lower one's sanity is, the more clearly he can see the true appearance of these shadow monsters, and mutate and become their dependents.

Al could indeed see some monsters in the past, but before he could only see some phantoms, and they were never as scary as this monster today.

"Am I really in any trouble?" Al thought of the words recorded in the book just now.

The handwriting of that sentence was indeed written by me, but I had no impression of it at all.

"Did I lose my memory? The answer is in a book of myths." Al wiped his soaked hair, put on a towel, ran back to the hut, and looked through the books of myths in his hut, trying to find the answer.

Without any purpose, I picked up a book about coincidental floods in mythology and read it. The content was very normal, just some narratives about great floods in Nordic mythology, Chinese mythology, and the Bible.

There are no notes he took in the book.

Al looked at it carefully, and suddenly he felt something was wrong, but he couldn't tell what was wrong.

His fingertips unconsciously rubbed the pages of the book, making a thin sound. His movements suddenly stopped, and he finally discovered something was wrong.

"Why is this book so old? It seems like a book that has been read frequently. I don't remember reading it before. If I have, I won't have any impression of it."

etc.

Can't remember the past

Al was suddenly frightened by his guess. He hurriedly found all the mythology books on the bookshelf, took out one, read two pages, and threw it to the ground. He took another one, read two pages, and threw it on the ground. He himself was unaware of it.

Snapped

Al closes the last book

As expected, these books were just like the previous book "The Coincidental Flood" in the myth, with heavy traces of reading, but I had no memory of reading these books.

Touching the soft pages and looking at the creases in the book, it is obvious that these books were read carefully and bit by bit by someone.

If I read this book by myself, then it is impossible for me to not remember when I read these books.

After eliminating all possibilities, there is only one answer left. I have lost my memory.

And I just lost the memory of these mythical books

Al shuddered as if an invisible hand was pressing his throat instantly.

Seeing this weird and horrifying thing happening in his cabin, Al couldn't help but cast his eyes on the upper left corner of the bookshelf, the nameless book that had traveled with him through time.

After hesitating for a while, Al still didn't open the book.

"Let's go to the library to check it out tomorrow and see if there are any clues." Al decided to go to the library to check the mythology tomorrow to see if he could find any clues.

His parents hadn't come back yet, and Al didn't feel sleepy at all. He sat on the ground, picked up the book at hand and read it carefully, trying to see if there were any other clues he had left.

But until late at night, when his parents came back, Al could not find any clues.

Early morning, school.

Al sat in his seat a little sleepily.

After arriving at school, he originally wanted to go directly to the library to look for books, but suddenly he remembered that today was the end of the month and the school was holding the end-of-month exam.

For the quiz at the end of the month, Al, a top student who was specially approved not to come to class, must also be present.

And he must get the first grade in the grade, otherwise he will lose the privilege of not having to attend classes.

Although the exam was coming soon, his mind was still thinking about what happened last night.

A figure walked in from outside the classroom.

"Hi Al."

Peter Parker smiled and said hello.

Al replied politely. Maybe it was because yesterday's incident had brought the two of them closer together, so the somewhat introverted Peter took the initiative to say hello.

But it didn't stop there. Peter quickly walked to his seat and began to prepare for the next test.

Eugene also walked in at this time, glanced at Al, snorted coldly, and returned to his seat to sit down.

A big golden-haired man looked around, wondering what he was thinking.

bell bell

The classroom bell rang soon, and an aunt in professional attire walked in. Her somewhat plump body seemed to burst the suit she was wearing.

The teacher with big breasts, fat buttocks and a waist, tapped the podium with the test paper in her hand, glanced at the students sitting in front of her, and nodded.

She looked emphatically at Al, this special child, but she didn't say anything. Al gained the privileges of the school based on his strength.

Being away from the classroom will indeed cause certain problems for children's growth. She cares about their children's growth, but she is more concerned about their children's enrollment rate. After all, their children's enrollment rate is related to her bonus this year.

The papers were handed out quickly, and Al lived up to her expectations and answered all the questions in less than 10 minutes.

She nodded to Al, indicating that he could go first. Both she and Al were used to this.

Al covered the test paper, left the classroom and walked towards the library.

In the classroom, Peter watched Al, the top student, leave, with a trace of longing in his eyes.

He also wants to live unrestrainedly like this, but...

He glanced at Eugene who was winking at him behind him, feeling a little at a loss.

Eugene's academic performance was not good, and he mostly relied on the "help" of the people around him during exams. And among Eugene, Peter was the one who studied best, so of course he became Eugene's key support during exams.

Eugene was playing with his pen a little boredly. He knew what the individual words in the questions on the paper meant, but when they were put together, he was a little confused.

If it were not necessary to obtain a school diploma to enter the La Masia Rugby Youth Academy, he would not be here.

The football field is where he longs to be.

Eugene lay on the table boredly, waiting for Peter in front to finish the questions.
