Chapter 188 The Resurrected Mummy (Modified)
When Allen took off the mummy's golden mask, the ancient Egyptian nobleman who had been sleeping for who knows how many years finally revealed his true face.
The mummy was tightly wrapped, and the skin on its face was cracked and dark, like a piece of shrunken leather.
His eye sockets were filled with black resin, and his nostrils were stuffed with rolls of cloth.
The biggest focus on his face was the buck teeth in his mouth, which reminded Allen of the teeth that couldn't align neatly on the stone statue outside the door.
A sour smell penetrated Allen's nose.
It's the smell of rot, of old mulch, of death.
Allen couldn't help but hold his breath.
Nancy felt dizzy and could hardly maintain her balance.
Her legs weakened and she fell to the ground.
Allen hurried to her side and fed her the antidote he had stored.
"Oh, it tastes bad! What did you give me to drink?" The taste was so amazing that Nancy couldn't help but retched several times.
"Although it tastes bad, it can save your life!" Allen handed the remaining potion to Nancy.
Although Nancy was unruly, she still thanked Allen and held the potion bottle tightly in her hand.
Nancy's eyes suddenly widened, showing surprise.
Allen quickly turned around to look. Ron didn't know when he picked up the mummy's mask and put it on his face.
"Ron, why are you so naughty? Stop playing around, or you'll get angry!"
Allen was completely convinced, what a reckless Gryffindor!
Just as naughty as his twin brother.
Ron's wand slipped from his hand and fell to the ground, and his whole body trembled.
"Ron, what's wrong with you?" Allen sensed something was wrong and quickly rushed forward, trying to take off the mask on Ron's face.
However, the mask seemed to be firmly on Ron's face, and no matter how hard Alan tried, he couldn't take it off.
Ron stopped trembling and said in an extremely weird tone: "Tetrutttkikrikhara!"
"What are you talking about?" As soon as the words came out of his mouth, Allen realized what Ron was reading!
The resurrection spell on the door!
Nancy suddenly let out a scream of terror.
Allen heard slow, shuffling footsteps behind him.
Allen turned around quickly and saw the mummy in the golden coffin walking towards him stiffly and staggeringly.
Its empty, resin-coated, tar-like eyes looked directly at Allen, smiling ferociously at him.
tap... tap...
The entire tomb could only hear the shuffling sound of the mummy's feet.
Slowly, he raised his arms and made a terrible clicking sound.
Allen raised his wand and wanted to tear the mummy apart!
But a pair of hands grabbed his throat tightly.
Allen caught a glimpse of the corner of the golden mask flashing by his ear.
It's Ron!
Allen's wand also fell to the ground. He wanted to use both hands to pry the hand off his neck, but Ron's strength was unexpectedly strong.
For a moment, Allen couldn't get rid of it!
The ugly, terrifying mummy is getting closer and closer to Allen.
Suddenly, the hand holding Allen's throat loosened, and Ron's body tilted and fell to the ground.
Behind him is Nancy holding a mahogany box high.
She stood motionless, panting, staring at the terrifying shadow in front of Allen.
"Ahem" Alan relaxed his throat and walked backwards away from the mummy and Ron.
With a bang, the mahogany box fell from Nancy's hand.
Nancy stood motionless, her cheeks clasped with her hands.
Allen grabbed her arm and pulled her to him.
"Thank you, Nancy! You saved me." Ellen whispered.
"But Ron! Ron won't be smashed to death by me, right?" Nancy's throat tightened with fear, and her whole body began to tremble.
"No, no, he is a wizard!" Allen comforted him repeatedly.
There was a snap, and the mask on Ron's face fell to the ground.
The mummy suddenly made a hoarse and sharp voice: "Thank you, my slave!"
Nancy wanted to open her mouth and scream but no sound came out.
She stared in horror at the mummy who was approaching step by step.
"Who are you?" Alan asked alertly.
"Who am I?" The mummy sneered, and Allen actually read pride on his rotten face!
"I am the great Emperor Tutankhamun, and I am also the greatest prophet in history!" Tutankhamun straightened his chest wrapped in linen.
Nancy's fear was slightly lessened when Ellen and the mummy seemed to be having a great time chatting.
She grabbed Allen's shirt and asked, "What are you talking about?"
"He said his name was Tutankhamun and he was a great prophet." Allen explained softly.
"I have been waiting for this day for so long!" said Tutankhamun. "I have been waiting for so many centuries, my slave."
He raised his creaking arms as if embracing the sun.
"I know that one day you will open my tomb and we will be together forever."
Tutankhamun waved, and Ron's wand flew into his hand.
He studied the wand for a while, his terrifying face flashed with excitement, and said loudly: "As a reward for resurrecting me, I allow you to become my slave forever."
Allen looked at him warily, waiting for an opportunity to pick up his wand.
Tutankhamun seemed to have fallen into some kind of fantasy and was so excited that he could not control himself.
"I'm back! I'm resurrected! I have so much power, so much wealth, and I will continue to rule Egypt just like I did four thousand years ago!"
Ron groaned and held his head to wake up.
He stood up unsteadily and found that the mummy could walk and talk!
Before he could get scared, he shouted in annoyance: "Give me my wand back!"
Ron actually rushed in front of the mummy and reached out to grab it, "It's mine, give it back to me."
A cold laugh burst from Tutankhamun's throat.
"You won't need it," he said softly, pointing his wand at Ron.
Just when Ron successfully attracted Tutankhamun's attention, Alan quickly rushed out and picked up his wand.
"Expelliarmus!" Tutankhamun was suddenly hit by the huge power of the curse and flew onto the golden coffin, and the magic wand in his hand flew out.
Ron rushed forward with unprecedented courage, picked up his wand, and pointed it at Tutankhamun.
Tutankhamun stood up quickly, and the linen cloth on his body was in tatters and dragged on the ground, revealing his withered and shrunken body.
To Allen's surprise, Tutankhamun did not attack him and Ron at the first time. Instead, he stuffed a purple amulet from his heart into the shroud, which he obviously cherished very much.
