Snakes at Hogwarts

Chapter 89 The omnipotent Murphy’s Law

Time passed minute by minute.

After waiting for almost ten minutes, Andros heard a noise from the corridor outside, and then, the shabby small wooden door was knocked again.

Phew, the two of them are finally here.

Andros breathed a sigh of relief.

To be honest, being alone with Filch in such a small office was not a very interesting experience.

Dim lights, a dirty and messy room, and a scary-looking old monster, this looks like the standard configuration of a low-budget horror movie.

Not to mention, there is a set of shiny hinges, handcuffs, shackles, and some messy torture instruments hanging on the wall behind the old monster.

Although Filch, who can't use magic, is not dangerous, this feeling still makes Andros quite uncomfortable.

"Open the door, kid!" Filch ordered, giving Andros a cold look.

His pale face was lined with wrinkles. Except for his horrifyingly protruding eyeballs, his cheeks were sagging, and the flesh on his chins trembled when he spoke.

To put it bluntly, Filch's appearance is somewhat similar to the old monster in a very classic American road horror movie.

The latter is a member of a cannibal family. The whole family is ugly due to incest marriage.

I don’t know if you have seen it.

...

Andros opened the door, and Harry and Ron were standing outside, breathing heavily.

"You're late."

"We, we got lost in a corridor." Harry explained with a blush.

"Full of lies! You disobedient little bastards never know how to be punctual!" Filch's voice came from the room.

"Wait outside."

Filch stood up, then shiveringly took off the brown coat from the hanger and put it on himself. He was hunched over and moved very slowly.

It looked like he might be suffering from rheumatism.

Finally, with an intoxicated and morbid look at the torture instruments on the wall, Filch took the lantern on the table in his hand and shuffled out.

In the dim light, his shadow was very long.

"Three little brats who were mischievous and disruptive in class, very good." Seeing the nervous Harry and Ron, Filch showed a ferocious smile. He seemed to be very happy to see the scared expressions on their faces.

"We were just late, so we didn't cause any damage!" Ron argued with a red face.

"Shut up! The professor handed you over to me, naturally, because you made a mistake!" Filch suddenly turned around and stared at the guy who dared to quarrel with him with his bulging eyes.

"Late? Do you know what kind of punishment you would get if you went back a few decades and were late? What do you think those torture devices hanging on the wall of the office are, decorations to scare people?" Because he was too excited, Filch kept asking Breathing heavily.

"He hopes you will be severely punished. Believe me, you will. Follow me."

After leaving these words, Filch turned and left.

Really, why did you provoke him?

Wouldn't it be over if you just follow Filch and finish the dirty work?

Andros complained in his mind.

I just don’t know whether to clean the trophy or clean the toilet.

Oh, forget it, as long as it's not the Forbidden Forest, then it can go anywhere.

Wait a minute?

Andros quickly noticed something was wrong.

Filch did not lead them upstairs along the luxurious marble stairs, but instead walked towards the outside of the castle.

No way!

"Wait a minute, where are we going, Mr. Filch?" Andros asked, looking at Filch's back.

"Hehehe." Without looking at Andros, Filch laughed ferociously, and then forcefully opened the castle door.

"You are going to the Forbidden Forest."
