Some Unscientific Marvel Scientist

171. Turn over the table

Compared to Peter Quill who excitedly took out the elemental gun, Kraft was much calmer. He took two steps forward and approached the Red Skull, taking a closer look at his face.

"Are you really Schmidt?"

"Yes, I didn't expect to meet compatriots from Earth here."

Red Skull continued to answer Kraft in that erratic voice.

"I was exiled here by the space gem to guide others to find treasures that I cannot possess."

Red Skull said as he led Kraft and the others forward.

Everyone came to the bottom of two huge stone monuments. Below the stone monuments was a cliff that was obviously made by man.

The Red Skull walked to the edge of the cliff and stopped, turned around, pointed in the direction of the cliff and said to Kraft and others: "What you are looking for is just ahead...and so are your fears."

Kraft came to the edge of the cliff, stretched his neck and looked down, and saw a huge circular stone disk under the cliff. Complex patterns could be vaguely engraved around the disk.

He took out the Infinity Stone Radar and looked at it, but there was still no display on it. Kraft switched to other types of detectors, only to find that the energy readings of the entire mountain, including the clouds above, were chaotic and disorderly. No valid information was detected.

"The Soul Stone occupies a special position among the Infinity Stones," Red Skull explained on the side: "It can be said that it has some kind of wisdom. If you want to obtain it, you must pay... a price."

"Pay the price?" Kraft frowned and guessed: "The price you are talking about is not the soul, right?"

He subconsciously thought of the thing called the Philosopher's Stone in the dream. In some ways, that thing was quite similar to the Infinity Stones.

"Yes, it's the soul," Red Skull glanced at Kraft, and then explained: "In order to ensure that the person who possesses it can understand its power, the soul gem requires sacrifice."

"To take it away, you have to lose what you love...exchange souls for souls."

Well...it's slightly better than the Philosopher's Stone. It seems that you only need to kill one person to get it...

Craft curled his lips, not saying whether what the Red Skull said was true or not, anyway, it was impossible for him to follow what the Red Skull said.

"Hahaha..." Gamora suddenly laughed softly, "In this case, there is no need to worry about Thanos collecting all six infinity stones, because he doesn't love anyone at all."

"Wow, so we don't have to worry anymore?"

Peter Quill never wanted to go against Thanos from the beginning. He was recognized by the Predator as one of the top "people not to be messed with". If it weren't for the cosmic spirit ball being involved, he would have been Escape as far as you can.

"How can it be that simple," Kraft rolled his eyes at Star-Lord, "If he can't collect all the infinity stones, Thanos will give up killing half of the population? And... he only needs to capture a couple with a deep relationship or a father, son and daughter. Like that, if you force one of them to jump down and then snatch it from the other, you can also get the soul gem."

"Shocked! Where did you come from as a devil?!"

Peter Quill stared at Kraft with a surprised expression, and Gamora next to him had a similar expression.

"You can actually come up with such vicious methods at such a young age!"

The "evil" Kraft twitched the corner of his mouth. He could no longer figure out whether these people were innocent or stupid...

Rolling his eyes and not bothering to pay attention to these two adults who were not very bright, Kraft pointed to the stone plate below and asked the Red Skull: "Can I go down and take a look?"

"……Can."

Perhaps it was the first time he encountered such a situation. After being stunned for a while, the Red Skull answered.

However, Kraft did not go directly like that. Instead, he contacted the Cross Vanguard, and five reconnaissance planes carrying mice jumped over from there.

Clicking on the nanoglasses behind his ears, Kraft controlled the reconnaissance aircraft carrying the mice and flew off the cliff.

Judging from the data displayed in the glasses, the vital signs of the mice in the reconnaissance plane have been very stable.

After reaching the bottom of the cliff, Kraft opened the hatch and let them all out. The mice did not show any special reaction except that they were a little uncomfortable because of the low temperature.

"Well……"

Kraft pondered for a moment, but still did not rush down, but continued to control the reconnaissance plane.

Both sides of the five reconnaissance planes were opened at the same time, and two mechanical arms protruded from the inside. Kraft controlled these mechanical arms to drill and chisel at the circular stone plate below, and after removing some fragments from it, Jump directly back to the Cross Vanguard.

And Angela's mechanical body has been waiting there for a long time, putting the collected fragments into the instrument for multi-faceted analysis.

However, it is obvious that scientific technology is not very effective for relatively imaginary things like the soul. The result of the analysis is that the fragments are basically ordinary stones, but the composition ratio is slightly different from that of the earth and other planets.

But this is a normal situation. Even on the same planet, the composition of rocks in different areas is different, so this is not a special phenomenon.

While Kraft was messing around, Red Skull had been watching silently from the side without showing any intention to stop him.

"Aren't you going to stop him?"

Peter Quill cautiously approached the Red Skull and asked in a low voice, feeling a little excited in his heart. After all, he was talking to a character from his childhood comics.

"My mission is to guide the people who come here to find the soul gem. As for your choice, it has nothing to do with me."

Red Skull replied calmly.

"What if the soul gem is taken away?" Peter Quill continued to ask: "Wouldn't your mission be over then?"

"I don't know," Red Skull shook his head gently, "I have been bound here for too long. If taking the soul gem can free me, I will gladly accept it."

"Then you won't stop me from destroying this place, right?"

After flying down and shopping around but still finding nothing, Kraft returned to the cliff and happened to hear the confession of the Red Skull.

So he took out the fish bone rocket launcher and aimed it at the disc below.

"Wait, why did you destroy this place?!"

Peter Quill was confused.

"Since we can't find the soul gem, and we don't plan to trade other people's lives, in order to prevent Thanos from finding this place in the future, of course the best way is to directly destroy this thing that is probably an altar."

Kraft replied matter-of-factly, and then pulled the trigger.

The rocket roared out from the shark-shaped muzzle and hit the altar below the cliff, causing a violent explosion. Craft blasted a large crater in the huge round stone plate.

Although he knew that the altar's defense was average when the reconnaissance plane collected the fragments, the fact that it could be so easily damaged on a large area still made Kraft a little confused.

"Are you really sure there is a soul gem hidden here?"

After firing two more rockets to add new scars to the altar below, Kraft turned to Gamora and Red Skull and asked.

"I destroyed this altar so easily. It doesn't look like a place where infinite gems are hidden..."

"That's because even if you destroy the altar, it won't affect the exchange of soul gems. As long as you offer a sacrifice that meets the conditions at this location, you can get the soul gem."

Red Skull replied calmly.

"Don't tell me sooner..."

Kraft put away the fish bones and waved to Arale, who was enjoying herself on the side.

"Arale, stop playing around. My brother needs your help."

When Kraft and the others were talking to the Red Skull, Arale, who was not interested in these things, ran to the side to collect snow and started to build a snowman again. When she heard Kraft's call, she immediately dropped it. Snowball ran over.

"Good boy, good boy."

Kraft touched Arale's little head, praised her, and then pointed to the ground under his feet.

"Come on, give this place a punch."
