Chapter 41 Credence

Outside Second Salem Church.

There was a slight crackling sound, and "Graves" phantom appeared in the shadow of the brick wall. He held the wand in his hand and moved slowly and calmly towards the church. There was no worry in his expression. Very curious, almost excited.

At this time, the church was in a mess. The pale moonlight filtered in from the huge crack in the roof. Castiti's body fell in a piece of rubble, cold and dead. A strange sound came from somewhere in the church. , a gentle sob.

Grindelwald slowly walked into the church, still holding the wand in his hand. His heart was filled with expectations for the Obscurus child who was about to appear, and more importantly, with the "jigsaw puzzle" that would put together this ambitious hegemony. "Pleasure.

After taking a few steps forward, Marylou's body also appeared. She was lying quietly on the ground in front of Grindelwald, the ugly scars on her face clearly visible in the moonlight.

Grindelwald carefully studied the anti-wizard Muggle's body, especially her facial scars, and his suspicions were further confirmed. While he was excited in his heart, he also did not forget to continue to be vigilant.

Credence huddled behind the church, sobbing and clutching the Deathly Hallows pendant in his hand.

Grindelwald walked towards him quickly, leaned down and held Credence's head.

However, there was no emotion in the Dark Lord's voice when he spoke, and it was full of utilitarianism: "The Obscurus has been here, where did the little girl go?"

Credence looked up and stared at the face of "Graves" with a look of shock and fear: "Help me, help me."

Grindelwald pressed Credence's hair, frowned and asked, "Didn't you say you have a sister?"

Credence began to lower his head and sob again: "Please, help me."

Grindelwald tried his best to keep calm: "Where is your sister, the little Credence, where is she?"

Credence was still pleading and trembling: "Please, I need help, please help me."

Grindelwald couldn't suppress the anxiety in his heart, showed his fierce look, and slapped Credence hard in the face.

Credence was shocked and stared at "Graves" blankly, unable to understand that the savior in his mind actually hit him, as if his heart had been whipped severely.

"Your sister is in very danger now. We must find her immediately." Grindelwald grabbed Credence, pulled him up from the ground, and the two of them apparated together.

A deserted street in the Bronx.

Credence led "Graves" into a residential building. The building was dilapidated and the stairs were creaking when stepped on.

"What is this place?" Grindelwald walked onto the second floor platform.

"My mother adopted Modesty from here. The family had twelve children. She missed her brothers and sisters very much and never forgot them." Credence looked frightened and stopped at the top of the stairs, refusing to go upstairs. .

Grindelwald held the wand in his hand and looked around the stair landing. Countless dark doors extended in several directions, so he asked Credence: "Where is she?"

Credence lowered his head in confusion: "I don't know."

Grindelwald was growing impatient. He couldn't bear the deliberate delay when he was so close to his goal. He strode into a nearby room.

"You squib, Credence, I noticed you the first time I saw you." Grindelwald said contemptuously.

Credence's face changed slightly: "What?"

"Your ancestors had magic, but you don't."

"But you said you would teach me"

"You can't teach at all," Grindelwald said rudely, "Your mother is dead, and this is the reward for you."

"That's it." Grindelwald seemed to have issued a verdict on Credence's fate.

Credence did not move. He stared at the back of "Graves" with red eyes. His breathing became faster and faster, as if he was trying to restrain something.

Grindelwald passed through the dark rooms, and there was a movement nearby.

"Modesty" he walked cautiously towards an abandoned study at the end of the corridor.

When Grindelwald walked in, Modesty was cowering in the corner. Suddenly she saw a strange man appear. She couldn't help but widen her eyes and tremble all over.

"Modesty" Grindelwald leaned down, put his wand in his pocket, and once again played the role of a loving father. This was the best way to treat these children who lacked love in their hearts.

Grindelwald said in a gentle tone: "You don't need to be afraid. I came here with your brother Credence."

At Credence's name, Modesty let out a rather uncharacteristic whimper of horror.

Grindelwald didn't notice anything wrong. He just thought that the child was still afraid of what happened just now. He stretched out a hand to Modesty and said, "Okay, come out quickly."

at this time.

Suddenly there was a tinkling sound on the ceiling, and cracks appeared out of thin air, spreading quickly like a spider web.The walls shook violently and uncontrollably, dust fell, and the abandoned room began to crumble and disintegrate.

Modesty looked at all this with fear, and was so frightened that she lost her mind.

Grindelwald stood up, and Modesty's performance made him realize one thing: the child he thought was Obscurus actually did not have magical abilities, let alone the initiator of this incident.

Grindelwald took out his wand from his waist and turned to look behind him. The wall he faced collapsed and seemed to turn into grains of gravel, and then the next wall

Grindelwald realized he had made a huge mistake.

Finally the wall has arrived.

Credence stared at "Graves", unable to suppress the anger, crying and feeling of betrayal in his heart.

"Credence" Grindelwald tried to make the final remedy, "I should apologize to you."

"I trusted you so much, thought you were my friend, thought you were different from them." Credence's face began to deform, and his anger was tearing him apart from the inside.

"You can control it, Credence" Grindelwald cautiously took a few steps forward.

"But I don't want to control, Mr. Graves," Credence said in a short, sarcastic tone.

The terrifying power of the Obscurus moved under his skin, and a hideous, inhuman roar erupted from Credence's mouth as black power spurted from every part of his body. This force finally completely controlled Credence, and his body exploded into a black oily substance mixed with scarlet light. It burst out of the window and flew over the city at high speed.

Possibly the most powerful Obscurus ever twisted and rolled through New York City, wreaking havoc. Moving cars were shot away like toys, spacious and neat sidewalks were blown up, and beautifully decorated buildings were razed to the ground.

Everywhere he went, there was devastation.
