Laura's Beautiful Journey

Chapter 36 Weird Space

Laura stared closely at the shadow opposite, not daring to act rashly.

I saw a flash of green light, and the big hole that had just been punched through Ophelia's chest and the scars on her body disappeared instantly, as if they had never appeared.

This kind of power already has a hint of rules, and Laura's little arms and legs have no intention of competing. She took advantage of the fact that the focus of Sithorn's projection was not on herself, and flew to Uncle Wolf's side, carrying him. Get up and plan to leave this place of right and wrong.

Ophelia, who had fully recovered, opened her eyes and looked at the intact skin under her damaged clothes. She smiled to herself, and then turned her eyes to the two people in the field.

Laura carried Logan on her shoulders and flew back while watching the beautiful snake warily.

"I didn't expect that the Hand would have a talent like you that could push me to this point, but is it too late for you to run away now?!"

Ophelia gritted her teeth and pointed her finger at the two people in the air, and the scarlet eyes of the shadow behind her also looked at them.

This time, the mental pollution was directly blocked by the system. After hearing the prompt, Laura hurriedly controlled the armor to speed away. She did not want to experience the endless nightmare again.

Ophelia saw that her attack failed to take effect, she let out a light sigh, and then said with an evil look on her face:

"If I really let you run away like this, the part of my soul that I sacrificed to Him would be in vain!"

Then she clenched her hands into fists, and the shadow behind her flashed and entered Ophelia's body.

Enduring the tremendous physical and mental pain, she stretched out her hands and made an orchid finger gesture up and down in front of her chest.

A green circular portal suddenly appeared next to Laura, and countless twisted and weird tentacles suddenly stretched out from it.

Because Logan, a man of steel and iron, was carried on her body, Laura's flexibility was greatly reduced. Coupled with the suddenness of the attack, she was hit hard by a tentacle on her waist after dodging several attacks.

He was knocked away, and Logan on his shoulders was swept away by several tentacles.

But Laura was too busy taking care of herself now, and when she finally stopped, she found that she was surrounded.

Ophelia on the ground looked at Logan who was pulled in front of her and a black ball that appeared in the sky. A smile appeared on her painful and ferocious face, and then she clenched her hands fiercely.

As her movements fell, Laura found that the tentacles around her instantly turned into spikes and attacked towards her quickly.

Feeling the abundant energy in her body, Laura gritted her teeth, then crossed her hands in front of her face and put her feet on her abdomen.

After the energy was mobilized, her hands and feet suddenly opened at the same time, and an extremely hot wave expanded rapidly with her body as the center.

The spikes that were pierced were melted and evaporated one by one after hitting the spreading heat wave. The latter continued unabated and soon hit the inner wall of the ball composed of black tentacles.

From the outside world, what Ophelia saw was that many bulges suddenly appeared on the surface of the black ball, and after it broke through, it spewed out streams of flames like dragon's breath.

As more and more holes appeared on his body, the overwhelmed black ball finally burst and disappeared with a "pop" sound like a punctured balloon.

Upon seeing this, Ophelia felt fierce and planned to do it again, but as soon as she raised her hand, she felt dizzy in her head. She opened her mouth and spat out a mouthful of green blood, which fell to the ground and corroded a big hole.

Knowing that her body and soul had reached the limit, she could only do the next best thing, clenched her right hand in vain and waved at Laura.

Lara in the air ran a "Red Lotus Explosion" with all her strength and her body became a little stiff, but she still managed to control the armor and fly away.

But following Ophelia's movement, the green portal in the air flashed and appeared in front of Laura, and she couldn't avoid it and plunged into it.

Ophelia saw this and quickly opened her empty palm, and the portal immediately dissipated.

After finally defeating this powerful enemy of the 'Hand', Ophelia laughed happily and at the same time no longer controlled the green energy in her body.

These mysterious powers didn't show any mercy, and quickly turned around in her body before disappearing into nothingness.

Ophelia's body returned to perfect condition again, but she felt that the burden on her soul had increased.

The beautiful snake shook her head and didn't want to think about it anymore. She walked up to Logan who was pulled back, grabbed his collar and dragged him into the entrance of the underground laboratory like a dead dog.

............

Laura, who rushed into the portal, was now in a panic. The moment the portal closed, she found that her communication with the outside world was completely disconnected.

"Rachel, can you tell where we are?"

Looking at the endless black around her, Laura asked.

"Sorry, all communication bands with the outside world have been lost, and no reference objects nearby have been found. I cannot determine the current coordinate point."

After hearing Rachel's answer, the last trace of luck in Laura's heart disappeared. She silently felt about half of the energy left in her body, turned off all non-essential armor systems, then turned the power of the induction detection system to the maximum and turned it around. After the circle, he randomly picked a direction and flew over.

I walked straight ahead like this for nearly 3 hours, and the surroundings were still pitch black, as if nothing else existed here except myself.

Rachel scanned and analyzed some of the captured cosmic dust, but except for the two elements hydrogen and helium, the other elements were not in the periodic table of elements that she knew at all.

Laura, who was slightly impatient, increased her speed to the extreme and flew for another six and a half hours in the darkness at Mach 6.

"Laura! Stop! The gravity data ahead is very wrong!"

Laura, who had been tense, stopped in the shortest time when she heard Rachel's warning.

After waiting for about half a minute, Rachel's voice sounded again:

"According to incomplete analysis of the observed data, there are dozens of black holes of various sizes in the space ahead. The smallest one has a mass 200 million times that of the sun, and these black holes are still devouring each other."

Laura's scalp went numb when she heard these numbers. The seemingly dead space in front of her was so dangerous!

She racked her brains and couldn't think of any space currently observed by humans on Earth that contained so many black holes at the same time.

"Damn it! Where the hell did that stinking snake teleport me to!"

After retreating all the way back, Laura opened her mouth to curse with lingering fear.

Feeling that she finally had a safe enough distance, Laura stopped her armor, feeling the energy in her body that had bottomed out, and became increasingly restless.

It needs the irradiation of stars to restore its energy, but according to her guess, all the surrounding stars have been swallowed up by the ridiculous number of black holes in front of it.

Laura, who was gradually desperate, asked Rachel to record a last message. Unexpectedly, after saying it, her mood gradually became lighter.

"Death in space...maybe you will be devoured and decomposed by a black hole after death. How many people have been treated like this in the past life? It seems I should be content."

The body surface temperature gradually dropped to the dangerous level, and Laura felt the biting cold feeling again for the first time since she obtained the "Sun Body", and her last trace of consciousness also fell into darkness.

After an unknown amount of time, a sparkling circle of light appeared next to Laura, who was floating in the boundless darkness, and a figure in yellow robe flashed out of it.

"Huh? I met an interesting little guy. How did you end up in this dead land now?"

The figure in yellow robe thought for a while with his hands behind his back, then shrugged, stretched out his left hand to draw a circle exactly like before, waved his right hand, and the floating Laura flew into the circle of light with her.

Just after their portal disappeared, there seemed to be an unwilling roar coming from this space.
