Chapter 131 What to do

"What's wrong with mom?"

Ryan hid in a corner to talk to his father on the phone, and the ominous premonition in his heart became stronger.

"I don't know." Bach tried his best to suppress the trembling and crying in his voice, "I am now blocked at the entrance of the town hospital."

Ryan grabbed the double-sided mirror in his hand and tried to make his expression and tone less anxious: "What's wrong with mom?"

Bach seemed to have finally calmed down a little. He took a few deep breaths to make his thoughts less chaotic: "She suddenly became abnormal and talked nonsense, and then she fainted, and there was no response no matter how hard she shouted..."

Bach poked his head out of the car window and took a look, his voice bitter: "I think there are people here who are in the same situation as my mother."

Ryan also took a deep breath. He had already used Occlumency to control his chaotic emotions: "Did mom do anything unusual before she fainted?"

"I didn't pay attention." Bach's lips were trembling. "It was the same as usual. I was reading the newspaper in the living room, and she was packing things in the kitchen, and then she started talking nonsense excitedly..."

At this point, Bach's tone was distorted and he covered his mouth.

"What about after dinner?" Ryan asked, "Anything different lately?".

"Recently?" Bach pursed his lips and frowned, "Recently, my mother took on a troublesome case, and her energy can't keep up...ah!"

"What are you thinking of, Dad?" Ryan's words became urgent.

"Paradise water - Mom has been in a bad mood recently." Bach shook his head again, "No, this is a medicine prescribed by the doctor."

"Did Mom take any medicine after dinner?" Ryan's hands couldn't help but tremble.

"Eat." Bach's eyes were a little unbelievable.

Ryan pressed his hands on his shaking legs. He felt that the messy information in his mind was constantly hitting the ideological barrier. He had a vague feeling, but he still couldn't grasp the key points accurately.

"Take mom home." Ryan forced himself to calm down. "The hospital may not be able to admit you, and if it's a problem with the medicine..."

He did not go on.

"But Ryan, if you don't go to the hospital, what will mom do?"

"Wizards also have hospitals." Ryan tried his best to show a comforting smile, "I'll go back right away."

"Okay!" Bach didn't hesitate, turned the car around immediately, and squeezed out of the congested traffic at the entrance of the hospital.

"Wait until I come back." Ryan put the double-sided mirror back in his pocket.

Justin looked at Ryan with some worry: "Are you okay?"

"It doesn't matter." Ryan closed his eyes and repeated in his mind, it doesn't matter.

The more this time, the more you can't panic.

"Is there anything I can do?" Justin asked with concern.

"Ask for a leave of absence from Professor Sprout for me." Ryan walked towards the door, "I'm sorry to bother you."

"I'll go right away." Justin followed Ryan's footsteps.

Ryan took a deep breath, reached into his pocket, and took out a test tube as thick as his little finger.

First, I need some luck.

Ryan drank the pure golden potion in one gulp.

The gloomy expression on his face suddenly relaxed, and his whole chest and back straightened up.

This extremely exciting feeling flowed through Ryan's body as the blood all over his body, making him feel as if he could do anything.

He stopped at the door, his eyes bright.

"What did you drink?" Justin also stopped, "Are you waiting for something?"

"Elixir," Ryan replied, "and I know I need to stay in the common room for a while longer."

Justin showed a shocked look, and he stammered when he spoke: "Fu...Fu Ling..."

"It's what you thought." Ryan said, "Okay, what I was waiting for is here."

An owl flew in from the round window of the lounge, but it didn't come to find Ryan. Instead, it dropped a note into Cedric's hand.

Cedric took one look and immediately ran out of the lounge in a panic.

Justin asked curiously: "What's wrong, Senior Cedric?"

"Qiu Zhang fainted." Cedric said as he ran.

Justin gave Ryan a strange look: "Is this what you are waiting for?"

"I think so." Ryan squinted his eyes, his eyes darkened slightly.

He quickly left the lounge, Justin beside him.

Ryan stopped at the kitchen door. He opened the kitchen door and shouted without explanation: "Babu, come with me."

Elf Babu stood up: "Do you need any help, Mr. Franklin?"

"Yes." Ryan grabbed the elf's arm, "I think there are a lot of things to trouble you today."

Justin watched Ryan continue walking hurriedly along the corridor, and he asked, "Where are you going next?"

"I'm going to Snape's office," Ryan said. "You can go see Professor Sprout."

"You're right." Justin stood up immediately and gave Ryan an admiring look.

Ryan kept walking, and he pulled the elf into the Potions office.

It was too dark in Snape's office and Ryan felt uncomfortable, so he cast a psychic spell on himself.

The old bat was not in the office. Ryan followed the guidance of the elixir and entered Snape's private warehouse. He went to the shelf and picked up a few bottles of the prepared potion. He put them directly into his pocket without looking at them.

Then he dropped Dumbledore's signature slip on Snape's desk.

Babu watched with fear as Ryan did all this. He felt that this bold little wizard might be a little crazy.

"Take me out of Hogwarts, Barb, just outside the gate." Ryan said, his tone a little more serious, "You have to hurry up, I don't have much time."

Barb sighed, took Ryan's hand and snapped his fingers.

The moment his feet felt the ground, Ryan had already raised his wand.

A purple three-decker bus roared to a stop in front of Ryan.

At this time, Ryan felt something. He looked up and saw an inconspicuous little black dot flying in the direction of Hogsmeade in the dark night sky.

But with the blessing of the super-sensory spell, Ryan saw clearly what it was.

That's an eagle.

If he saw it correctly, it seemed to be Qiu Zhang's new pet.

Ryan's face inevitably darkened. As he boarded the car, he sighed in a low voice: "That's it."

"Where to go?" asked the conductor witch.

"Iris Road," Lane said.

"Eleven Sickles." The witch took the silver coin from Ryan's hand.

Seconds later, Lane got off the Knight bus and ran toward his home.

The sound of the car engine came from far away, and Bach arrived home.

"Ryan!" Bach's voice was uncontrollably anxious, "Mom's breathing is a little unstable."

Ryan nodded, went to the back seat of the car to help Valerie up, took out a bottle of emerald green potion from his pocket, and poured it into his mother's mouth.

"What is this?" Bach slowly calmed down after seeing his son's calm look.

"The panacea." Ryan replied, "The best antidote among advanced potions, the work of our potion teacher."

He kept moving his hands, took out another bottle of potion, and said softly: "I hope it will be useful."

Ryan gave Valerie a bottle of translucent pearl-colored potion. After a while, Valerie's complexion looked much better and her breathing calmed down.

"Thank God!" Bach was almost moved to tears, "What medicine did you use?"

Ryan sighed and smiled bitterly: "It's exactly what I thought... This bottle is an energy tonic that can be used to treat..." He was silent for a moment, "It was caused by a failed energy potion. Manic and exhausted.”

"Jesus bless." Bach held Valerie's hand.

"Don't you understand, dad?" Ryan whispered, "This is not a simple drug poisoning at all, but a wizard is behind it. Moreover, mom's condition is far from stable."

His eyes suddenly stopped.

Next door, a pearl-white figure suddenly floated out of Madam Marcia's house.

Ryan's hands shook violently.

"Lady Marcia!" he shouted.

However, Mrs. Marcia's soul seemed to be unable to hear the shouts from the outside world at all, and drifted into the distance in a muddle.

Ryan clenched his fists. He took one last look at the direction Mrs. Marcia left and said in a heavy tone: "Barb, take us to St. Mungo's. I think you should know its location."

"I am happy to serve you." Babu bowed.

It let Ryan hold his skinny arm, then took Valerie's hand, and finally let Bach grab its head.

Babu snapped his fingers.

The next moment, they were in a busy hospital lobby.

Bach couldn't help retching, but he still waved his hand and urged Ryan to find a doctor.

After entering the Potions and Plant Poisoning Department on the fourth floor, a curly-haired witch checked Valerie's condition and immediately arranged for her to be admitted to the ward.

"The treatment was very good." The doctor praised, "At least the critical parts have been relieved. However, her soul seems to be still in a lost state, so she cannot wake up."

"Is there any way?" Bach asked quickly.

"It may not be the damage caused by the magic potion." The doctor said, "Her condition is very similar to Aphansia. We need to find someone from the Charms Department to take a look. I think there may be some kind of magic spell targeting the soul."

"Excuse me." Bach bowed repeatedly.

The doctor left the room.

"Lian, thank you." Bach hugged Ryan, "This time it really all depends on you."

"This is what I should do, Dad," Ryan said.

"Okay, the doctors have already made certain guesses, and I'll leave the professional matters to them." Bach said, "You don't have to be so gloomy."

Ryan didn't answer. He closed his eyes tightly and recalled all his experiences this year.

With the blessing of the Spiritual Elixir, his thinking became extremely sharp, and his spirituality continued to guide him to find the answers he needed.

He suddenly opened his eyes, a look of great struggle on his face.

"Ryan, what's wrong with you?" Bach asked worriedly.

"It's nothing, Dad." Ryan took a deep breath, "I just roughly guessed why my mother became like this, and I also know how to wake her up."

"Really? Then let's go find a doctor." Bach said.

Ryan pulled Bach's sleeve and shook his head: "It's not a problem that doctors can solve, because this is not a disease."

He walked to a blank picture frame on the wall. Under the frame was a tin label: Delise Derwent.

Ryan shouted softly: "Principal, Principal Dai Lisi, can you hear me?"

After a while, a witch with silver curly hair poked her head out from the edge of the frame.

"It's you, little one." Delis asked, "Why did you go to St. Mungo's?"

"My mother is sick," Ryan said. "Is Professor Dumbledore here?"

"He went to London." Dai Lisi said, "What do you want to see him for?"

"I want to tell him that Swinburne may have taken action." Ryan frowned, "Is the principal really coming to London?"

"He's in a hurry." Dai Lisi replied.

Ryan felt that she was not lying and the principal might have really left.

He glanced at the phoenix tail feathers on his fingers, and the revelation of the elixir told him that now was not the time to use it.

"Principal Delis, please find a way to notify the Ministry of Magic." Ryan said, "Many people on the Muggle side have been poisoned by dark wizards. I don't think Muggle hospitals have the ability to deal with injuries caused by magic medicine."

"Okay." Dai Lisi's expression also became serious. She knew that something big might happen this time.

She disappears from the frame.

"Your principal?" Bach asked. This was the first time he saw a thoughtful portrait.

"The previous principals, she has passed away," Lane said.

He was silent for a moment, glanced at his mother who was sleeping on the bed, and then at his father who suppressed worry in his eyes.

Ryan's shoulders relaxed slightly, and he smiled a little: "Dad, I think it's time for me to go."

"Where are you going?" Bach looked at his son who had calmed down and felt flustered for no reason.

"Dad, I know the answer." Ryan lowered his gaze, "This time I don't plan to just stand aside and watch, waiting for others to help. It's better to take destiny into my own hands."

He raised his head, his eyes firm.

Bach stood up, his tone a little flustered: "What are you going to do, Ryan!"

Ryan laughed, and the omnipotent feeling of the Felixir returned to him again.

"I'm going to do what I have to do, Dad."

He grabbed the elf Babu's hand.

"Take me to Hogsmeade."
