To the end of the sea [One Piece]

Chapter 2 The girl with amnesia

After Ikegawa Ena woke up, she found herself in a completely unfamiliar environment. There was only a bed, a table, and a chair in the simple room. The only window revealed a beam of bright light that shone on the rough wooden floor.

She frowned and sat up, trying to remember what was going on, and then found that her mind was blank. She could only remember her name, basic knowledge of the world she lived in, and her age. As for where she came from, where she was going, and why she woke up in this room, she had no memory at all.

After a moment of panic, Ikegawa Ena quickly calmed down. She first got out of bed and walked to the wooden table, checking her only package placed on the table.

A bottle of fresh water, a little food, two changes of clothes and a cigar.

Ena picked up the cigar and soon discovered that it was not a real tobacco. The habit in her memory guided her to press the hidden groove on the side of the cigar, and an extremely sharp blade popped out with a swish. Eina held the cigar body as the handle and turned it in her hand. Two tiny letters were engraved on the blade closest to the handle: C.B.

She moved her lips and read the abbreviation silently.

Putting away the cigar dagger, she touched her pocket and found a small sum of beli inside - the currency of the pirate world.

Good, at least she wasn't penniless.

There was a ring on her finger, a very simple ring, without any markings. She turned the ring around, but there was no response.

Then she dug out a small button from the corner of her pants pocket. Eina raised the button and put it in front of her eyes to examine it, and then checked her clothes to confirm that it had not fallen off her body. Moreover, the edges of the buttons were obviously worn, and it looked like they were more than ten years old. Although she didn't know the meaning of the button and the cigar dagger, Ena carefully put them away. This was the only clue she could find from her body before she lost her memory.

Next to the bed stood a knife wrapped in layers of cloth. Eina picked it up and bumped it, put the knife behind her back, picked up the package and walked out of the room.

Going out of the room was a crooked wooden staircase, and Eina made a creaking sound as she went downstairs. When we arrived on the first floor, many people were noisily crowded together to drink. There were tall and thick men as well as women holding their children to hide their faces. Eina walked straight to the front desk at the door. A bearded man looked at her with drooped eyelids: "Five Baileys."

She took out the gold coins from the hidden pocket of her clothes and paid, and the man lowered his eyelids and stopped looking at her.

Eina pushed open the door, and the dazzling sunlight rushed straight at her. She raised her right hand and squinted her eyes. After a while, she put it down. After looking around, she chose to turn left.

She didn't know where she should go now. She could only rely on her remaining intuition.

"Selling newspapers -" A child in rags walked towards him, with a pair of flexible and cunning eyes exposed under the lowered brim of his hat. Eina paused slightly and glanced at the newspaper in his hand.

The child immediately rushed over with enthusiasm, stood at just enough distance from Ena not to get bored, held up a newspaper and asked: "Sister, do you want a newspaper?"

Eina frowned slightly, and was about to refuse when he heard his crisp introduction: "The newspaper just delivered by Seagull! Fire Fist Ace, the captain of Whitebeard's Second Division, is chasing Marshall D. Teach, and the World Conference will be held in Mariejoia. Convene——"

"I want one." Eina interrupted him, "How much does it cost?"

The child was obviously stunned for a moment, and then immediately quoted the price with a bright smile, handed the newspaper in Eina's hand, gave a somewhat playful salute, and ran away.

Ena looked at the young man printed on the front page and fell into deep thought.

The profile of his face that was suppressing soaring anger, and the burning flames all over his body covered part of his appearance. However, the emotions emerging from the depths of his memory made Ena completely sure that this was someone she knew.

Ayes the fire fist…

She clenched her fists irritably.

For a person who woke up and found that he had lost his memory, Ikegawa Ena was already very calm. However, no one likes this unknown and uncontrollable feeling. Regardless of the initials on the dagger and the frayed buckle, the fact that she was walking down the street carrying a long, covered-up knife already showed that she was definitely not a normal person before she lost her memory.

Fortunately, her memory didn't mean to torture her yet, and she had very clear intuitive guidance in the dark.

She sighed. Everything is unimportant right now. Her only purpose is to collect as many familiar things as possible, preferably to meet people who know her.

Ena walked around this town for a long time, and except for a few people who cautiously looked at the knife on her back, no connection was found between her and this town.

So it's confirmed that she only settled here temporarily.

She scratched her cheek and planned to go to the port to ask if there was any ship out to sea. At this moment, a scream came from the front: "What are you doing! Let me go!"

The crowd quickly gathered together, but they all formed an encirclement from a distance in confusion, not daring to get close to the source of the sound. Ena stepped forward and saw a tall man kicking the thin man in the chest and brandishing a large knife in his right hand. Behind him were several fierce men with proud smiles on their faces.

"What a noise! We are pirates! Hand over all the money in the store!" The leading man shouted at the man at his feet.

"I..." The thin man was dressed simply, with several patches on a pair of gray trousers. At this moment, his head and face were covered with mud, his eyes were red and he gritted his teeth. Even though he was shaking, he managed to squeeze out a few words: " No...can't give it to you..."

"Huh?!" The tall man raised his knife, "Would you like to say one more word?"

"Let go of my father!" A small figure rushed out from the crowd and threw it at the man's collar like a small cannonball. As if he was afraid that the man's knife would cut him off in the next second, he tremblingly protected the man's body. .

Ena narrowed her eyes.

The little newsboy was so scared that his voice was deformed, and it no longer had the crisp vitality it had just before. With the sharpness of a child before his voice changed, he tried his best to say: "I...I can give you the money from selling newspapers today, please don't hurt me." My dad…”

"Johnny..." The thin man closed his eyes in despair and hugged the boy's small body. The tall man raised a wicked smile: "The love between father and son is really deep... But what should I do? I hate it when someone talks to me. It’s time to rush out and interrupt...uh!”

His sentence ended abruptly before he finished speaking.

The crowd retreated in panic, and the pupils behind the man narrowed in absolute fear at that moment——

The next second, the man who was talking nonsense just now fell to the ground vomiting blood and fell unconscious.

Johnny raised his head and opened his mouth wide, with unbelievable surprise and joy in his eyes.

The silver-haired girl had only a biting coldness on her face at the moment, and there was undisguised murderous intent in her dark green eyes. She slowly stood up straight, and the long knife in her hand, which was originally wrapped so that she could not see clearly, was put into the scabbard with a cold light at this moment. A crisp sound made the pirate next to her come to her senses, and then her legs almost softened with fear. The earth will kneel where it is.

"It's...it's her..."

"How could it be...how could it be..."

"How could the pirate hunter [Naraku] appear here..."

The murderous look in Eina's eyes suddenly disappeared. She blinked and looked at the prostrate pirate on the ground, turned away her eyes in disgust, and strode forward. Behind him, Johnny got up after realizing it, swallowed a mouthful of saliva and shouted to her: "Thank you, sister..."

Eina didn't look back.

Ah, these are really helpful, Mr. Pirates.

It turns out that her identity is a pirate hunter.
