Hogwarts Archmage

Chapter 19 Begins

When he got up on Friday morning, Ma En was in an unusually depressed state. He was distracted from time to time, and even almost fell. If Esther hadn't caught him in time, he had no doubt that the hard stone floor would have hurt him. His nose fell flat.

But he didn't take it seriously, thinking he had a cold. After all, when he was in the sky yesterday, the high-altitude wind was indeed a bit cold.

This state lasted until roll call in Potions class, and finally reached its peak. He began to fall into very brief coma, and would be in a coma state for a few seconds every ten seconds.

If Esther hadn't pinched him with Snape's murderous look when he was unconscious, everyone would have thought he was taking a nap.

After squeezing, Marne didn't give any reaction. Only then did Esther realize something was wrong and quickly called Snape, who was pressing hard against Harry, to come over and take a look.

Snape came over and pinched his mouth open, looked at the coating on his tongue, and then opened his eyelids to look at his eyes. After warning the little wizards to be honest, he called Esther and sent him to the school hospital together. It also made Marne miss what may be the only opportunity in his life to get extra points for Gryffindor from Snape.

When they arrived at the school hospital, Ma En had completely fallen into a deep coma and had no response no matter how stimulated he was.

Snape left Esther here, notified Dumbledore with the owl in the school hospital, and then went back first, where there were two young wizards from the academy waiting for him to teach.

It didn't really matter whether Esther and Marn attended class or not. He knew that for these two people, the current courses had more symbolic meaning than practical meaning.

Not long after, Dumbledore, Walder and McGonagall all arrived at the school hospital. They asked Mrs. Pomfrey, but the answers they received were not optimistic.

The school doctor, who was proficient in medical skills, tried many methods but could not determine what was going on with him. She also tried a few healing spells, but they disappeared as quietly as a mud cow sinking into the sea.

After some discussion, several people decided to use the awakening potion to forcefully wake up Ma En, and ask him where he felt uncomfortable to judge whether to send him to St. Mungo's.

They really don't want to send Ma En to St. Mungo's Hospital if it is not necessary, because once he is sent to St. Mungo's Hospital, the entire process of examination, treatment, and later observation will mean a minimum of one month of suspension for Ma En.

There is no need to bother anyone to make this thing on site. As a school that specializes in cultivating young wizards, students often fall into coma due to various reasons. The awakening potion is a kind of standing potion in the school hospital.

Madam Pomfrey quickly took a test tube from the apothecary room and drank it for Marne under the watchful eyes of everyone.

The efficacy of this mature drug is still trustworthy. In just a few breaths, Ma En, who was motionless despite being stimulated, slowly woke up and looked at the people around him in confusion.

"Langley, how are you feeling now? Are you uncomfortable in any way?" Madam Pomfrey lowered her head and asked slowly when she saw that he had woken up.

"I...are you?" Sparks burst out as he spoke.

It wasn't that Ma En had lost his memory, but that in his sight, all the images around him were distorted, and the sounds reaching his ears were also somewhat distorted, as if they were coming from a very far away place.

The constantly twisting and rotating environment made him feel sick and have a headache just like he felt dizzy when playing games in 3D in his previous life.

He had to close his eyes to alleviate the situation, but found that after closing his eyes, the surrounding environment was presented in his mind in an alternative way.

All objects and people are like thermal images. The bright or dark colors displayed due to the influence of temperature constitute the shape of each object.

The only good thing is that I am no longer distorted and my dizziness is getting better.

"What's wrong with me?" he tried to ask, but found that as his mouth opened and closed, a flame flowed out from his mouth along the airflow, and quickly spread to the entire room and all spaces in the hospital. .

After confirming that these flames would not cause substantial harm to him, Esther rushed to the side of his hospital bed, constantly shaking his arms and asking about his current condition.

Several professors didn't bother to check what was wrong with him. They hurriedly helped Madam Pomfrey start transferring patients. No one knew when Marn would become comatose again, let alone the flames that had spread after he became comatose. Will it change its nature and become something terrifying?

Ma En has already noticed the problem. He can "see" his own fire, and from his "perspective", all people or objects within the flame envelope have changed from their thermal imaging appearance back to their original appearance. Naturally, Including Esther who kept touching him.

The scope of his "vision" now is very unique. His "viewing" of the surrounding environment is not a multi-degree perspective in the conventional sense of various creatures. He doesn't even open his eyes.

The perspective is a bit like a God's perspective, overlooking all the locations lit by flames from the top, as well as myself lying on the hospital bed.

"Esther, I'm fine." He patted the arm of Esther, who was anxiously asking about her condition next to him, a few times to calm her down.

Ma En raised his hand, and the flames in the entire school hospital suddenly rose a little higher. Although it still did not cause any damage to any items, the color had changed from a light orange to a terrifying blue-white.

When he clenched his palms and tried to take back the fire, he finally realized the seriousness of the matter.

These fires still obey his command and can freely change shape and temperature according to his wishes. Also due to the control of his mind, they "understand" what can be destroyed and what should not be harmed. The only problem is also the most serious problem. It’s this fire that can’t be taken back.

Not only that, as he breathes, new and large amounts of flames will "escape" from his body from time to time. And he could feel that his energy was rapidly being consumed as he controlled these fires to avoid harming the outside world.

"Ester, get out of here immediately." Marn worked hard to control all the fires within the hospital and prevent them from spreading to the outside world: "Tell Professor Dumbledore, starting from the school hospital and ending at Hogwarts." Leave no one on the road to the clearing between the Quidditch pitches! I'm going to lose control!"

While speaking, large balls of fire emitting dazzling light continued to "escape" from his nose and mouth, spreading happily around.
