024 See the essence of magic - power
The troll was probably blinded for a moment. It probably never thought that there was a human wizard who was stronger than it.
His small eyes were full of confusion, but he quickly realized the problem: it was thrown against the wall by a human wizard.
It let out an angry roar, twisted its body, and waved the wooden stick in its hand.
Edward ignored him completely, he was just a giant monster. If he hadn't considered that there was Hermione inside, he would have burned everything down with a powerful fire.
He walked towards the innermost stall of the toilet, where Hermione was huddled, completely petrified and slumped to the floor.
"Professor...Professor!" The tears on Hermione's face stopped instantly, and she fell into Edward's arms, "I...I..."
"It's okay, it's okay, it's all okay." Edward gently patted Hermione on the back and said warmly. He hugged Hermione and walked out of the cubicle. The troll had already gotten up from the ground. It waved the wooden stick and moved the sink. Smashed to pieces.
But the moment it saw Edward, it pushed back timidly. It was afraid of Edward.
Holding Hermione in one hand, the other hand stood out of thin air and drew a circle in the air. Golden-red magic words emerged from the air and floated in front of Edward.
"Fiendfire."
Edward spat out the word softly, and terrible black flames shot out from the magic words in the air and hit the giant monster.
It didn't even have time to make a sound. The moment the fierce fire touched its body, there was no sound.
The fierce fire devours the soul.
"Okay, it's okay." Edward patted Hermione's back gently. He poured out his right hand, took out his wand, and pointed it at the toilet and cast several cleansing spells, which made his nose feel a little better.
Suddenly there was a violent slamming of the door and loud footsteps, and Hermione raised her head. There were tears on her face and her eyes were red.
Edward lifted the enchantment on the door, and Professor McGonagall rushed into the room, followed closely by Snape, and Quirrell at the rear. They looked at the empty public toilets, confused.
"Professor Lumpo, where is the troll?" Professor McGonagall asked, her hand holding the wand trembling slightly. She just heard the roar of the troll and rushed over in a hurry.
"Do you see the ashes?" Edward pointed to the pile of ashes in the center of the room, "That's the troll."
Quirrell let out a weak sob, clutching his chest tightly.
"Have you eliminated it?" Professor McGonagall's lips turned pale. She could burn the troll so cleanly in a short period of time. She couldn't think of any other spell except Fierce Fire.
And the control of the spell was so exquisite that it didn't even burn the floor.
Edward's strength has exceeded Professor McGonagall's imagination.
"If there's no problem, I'll go back first." Edward put Hermione down and raised his legs to leave.
"Please wait a moment." Professor McGonagall stopped him, "Please tell me what they are doing and what tricks are you playing?" The second half of the sentence was addressed to the three little wizards. When they rushed to the corridor, they happened to see Harry and Ron at the door of the toilet.
"Why don't you just stay in the dormitory?" Professor McGonagall's lips were white, and her voice was filled with cold anger.
Snape also gave them a quick and threatening look.
"Please don't, Professor McGonagall—they're looking for me."
"Miss Granger."
Hermione struggled to her feet.
"I came to see the trolls because I... I thought I could deal with them alone... you know, because I read about them in books and followed... Professor Rumple studied runes for a while, and I thought I knew a lot about them.”
This is undoubtedly a big lie.
At least Edward didn't see any resistance from Hermione. If it weren't for him, Hermione would have turned into a pile of meat by now.
"If Harry and Ron hadn't found me, I would definitely be dead by now."
"You should thank Professor Rumple." Professor McGonagall said with a straight face, "Miss Granger, Gryffindor will be deducted five points for this incident. I am very disappointed in you. If you were not injured , it’s best to get back to Gryffindor Castle as soon as possible. The students are having Halloween dinner in their houses.”
Hermione left.
Professor McGonagall turned to Harry and Ron, "You two must have noticed that Miss Granger secretly left the team. You didn't tell the teacher, but followed Miss Granger alone. Do you think you three little wizards Is it enough to fight a giant monster?”
Harry and Ron shook their heads quickly, trying to explain that they had no time to think about it at the time.
But Professor McGonagall did not listen to their explanation, "For this, I will deduct five points from you, five points for each of you. Okay, you can leave."
Harry and Ron hurried out of the room.
"Can I leave? Professor McGonagall." Edward bit out the last few words very hard.
Professor McGonagall nodded, "Of course, it's just-" She pursed her lips tightly, as if she wanted to say something, but Edward had already walked away when he said the first word.
"Fire." Snape leaned down, picked up a bit of ashes with his fingertips and looked at it carefully. "Exquisite control."
"It was Lumpo who did it."
"I don't believe that a first-year Muggle-born wizard can be angry." Snape stood up and said coldly.
"There is no doubt that he is our Professor Lumpur." Professor McGonagall narrowed her eyes, "Professor Snape, can you do this?"
Snape shook his head, "I don't think even Dumbledore can do it."
"Can't Principal Dumbledore do it too?"
"He is better at white magic. He uses too little black magic." Snape said coldly, "If there is nothing else, I will go back to the office."
"Yes." Professor McGonagall nodded.
The three little wizards returned to the tower. The common room was full of people, noisy, and everyone was eating the food that was served.Hermione whispered a 'thank you' to Harry and Ron and hurried to her plate.
In the evening, Hermione once again picked up the magic literature book that she had placed at the bottom of the bookcase and studied it intently.
"If possible, I would like to continue studying with you...Professor Lumpo."
Hermione's eyes became determined. What she experienced today, even if it was just an accident, made her particularly aware of the importance of knowledge and power.
"Strength, I also need enough strength to protect myself and my family."
His small eyes were full of confusion, but he quickly realized the problem: it was thrown against the wall by a human wizard.
