029 The tell-tale Hagrid

"Teacher, I want to go see Harry, he must be scared." Hermione said to Edward when leaving the venue.

"Go and see your friends." Edward smiled and ruffled Hermione's hair, "I'll put a warming spell on you."

He reached out and wiped Hermione's back, and the magic text of warmth was engraved on Hermione's robe again. Edward then let her leave with confidence.

After Hermione left Edward, she looked for Harry in the crowd - she found it more convenient to search for Hagrid directly. If something like this happened, Harry would definitely discuss it with Hagrid.

Hermione quickly spotted them, thanks to Hagrid's large size and Ron's distinctive hair color, as they headed across the grounds to return to Hagrid's hut.

Hermione hurriedly followed them and finally caught up with them in the vegetable garden.

They entered the hut together, and Hagrid made them a cup of strong tea to ward off the cold.

"It was Snape who did it," Ron explained to everyone. "I saw it. He was chanting a spell on Harry's broom, muttering to himself, and keeping his eyes fixed on Harry."

"Nonsense," said Hagrid, who knew nothing of what happened next to him in the stands, "why would Snape do such a thing?"

"Yes, and we were sitting a few rows behind Snape. If Professor Snape really planned to do something to Harry, the teacher and other professors would not have noticed it." Hermione also retorted, "But... ...." She remembered the time when Edward hit Quirrell with an oil lamp.

But it wasn't certain yet, at least Hermione wasn't sure yet.

Maybe Edward knew something, but he would never tell himself. Hermione knew this.

"Why is it impossible?" Ron muttered, "Harry and I discovered something about him." Ron's words brought Hermione's thoughts back to reality, "On Halloween, he wanted to pass the three Big dog with a big head. It bit him. We think he was trying to steal something that the big dog was guarding."

Hagrid put down the teapot heavily, "How did you know about the three-headed Lu Wei?" he asked.

"Also, you shouldn't doubt a professor. Snape must be trusted by Dumbledore." Hermione also said.

It's just that she seemed very unsure. Indeed, when Snape stood up, Harry was suddenly able to climb on the broom, but Professor Quirrell was also hit by the oil lamp, wasn't he?

If you put it this way, could it be said that the timid, cowardly and weak Professor Quirrell would curse Harry?

This is impossible!

Hermione believed in the authority of professors.

There is no way they can harm students.

But in Harry and Ron's ears, they only heard 'Lu Wei with three heads'.

"Lu Wei with three heads?"

"Yes - it's mine - bought it from a Greek guy I met in the pub last year - and I lent it to Dumbledore to keep -"

"What are you guarding?" the three little wizards asked in unison.

"Okay, don't ask anymore," Hagrid said rudely, "That's Secret No. [-], understand? Can't you learn from Hermione? She always has the right stance."

"But Snape wanted to steal it," Harry said angrily. "I know, he tried to pass Fluffy, and his leg was bitten by it, I saw it."

"Nonsense," Hagrid said again, "Snape is a teacher at Hogwarts, he would not do such a thing."

"Then why did he want to kill Harry?" Ron asked loudly.

"Ron, I think maybe we shouldn't be so hasty." Hermione lowered her head and analyzed, "Maybe I should ask the teacher. He must know something."

What happened this afternoon seemed to make Hermione not trust the professor so much, because she saw with her own eyes that Edward 'attacked' Professor Quirrell and Professor Snape in order to save Harry.

"I'm telling you, you're totally wrong!" said Hagrid. "I don't know why Harry's broomstick behaved like that, but there's no way Snape wanted to kill a student! You'd better listen. Hermione, why can't you use your brain like Hermione and ask Professor Edward or Principal Dumbledore if there's anything you can't ask?"

"Because we're not nerds," Ron said venomously, causing both Hermione and Hagrid to glare at him angrily.

"I don't allow you to say that about Hermione!" Hagrid said irritably, "She is Mr. Edward's disciple. Forget about that big dog and what it is guarding. That is not something you students should interfere with. This is completely unrelated to you." It’s irrelevant.”

"Aha." Harry chuckled.

In the following time, Harry and Ron wanted to find out what secrets Hagrid had with Dumbledore and what exactly they were protecting.

But Hagrid refused to reveal a word.

This left Harry and Ron to place their hopes on Hermione, hoping that she could pry something out of Edward's mouth.

But everything seemed to be making little progress. Edward's mouth was as tight as Hagrid's, and he used almost the same words as Hagrid to stop Hermione from continuing to explore.

He really didn't want his disciples to get involved in the matter between Harry Potter and Voldemort. Even the so-called Dark Lord was just a slightly more powerful ant to Edward.

After all, to the soul-devouring demon, the wizard is just a delicious dish on the plate.

Christmas was about to come to an end. One morning in mid-December, Hogwarts School woke up from a dream and found that the surroundings were covered with several feet of snow and the lake was covered with hard ice.

Several owls flew through the windy and snowy sky to deliver the mail. After experiencing many hardships, they had to regain their strength under Hagrid's care before they could continue to take off.

Everyone was eagerly looking forward to the holiday, and Hermione was no exception. She was particularly eager to return to her parents and show them everything she had learned in the castle. This was a completely different world from the Muggle world.

"Teacher, are you planning to conduct a home visit?" Hermione asked in surprise. The quill in her hand left a big ink spot on the parchment.

"Of course." Edward nodded and said, "As my disciple, it is necessary to know your parents in detail. I must ensure that they understand the relationship between teacher and disciple. There is an old saying in the East, one day is a teacher for life. As a father, I have to make my presence known to them.”

"But you don't look much older than me." Hermione muttered in her stomach.

But when the words came to his lips, he turned into, "But my parents are only Muggles. They didn't know the existence of magic at all before I entered school. I think it is difficult for you to have anything in common... I My father is a dentist, do you know what a dentist is?”
