088 Ministry of Magic - Sudden

Fudge and the team members behind him all fell to their knees and struggled to raise their heads, as if to vent their dissatisfaction.

But even so, the easiest action in the past could not be completed at all.

"Enough! Edward!" Dumbledore yelled, he pushed away from the table and walked towards Edward with trembling legs.

"It's not their fault."

"They should learn how to respect the strong." Edward said proudly, "I just taught them this."

"They are the backbone of the Ministry of Magic, Edward, and the wizarding world cannot afford to lose them."

"What does this have to do with me?" Edward said. He returned to the sofa, picked up his cup of hot cocoa, and took a sip.

"Edward, I'm afraid I can't let you do this." Dumbledore said in a deep voice, "Contract, you must cooperate with my actions, and your actions today have seriously affected my plan. It seems that I have to ——”

"You dare?!" Edward whispered, and for a moment the only sound in the room was the sound of matches burning in the fireplace.

"If you continue to insist on your own will, Edward," said Dumbledore, "we will have to part ways. You do what you think is right. I - I will do what I will."

There was no threat in Dumbledore's voice, it just sounded like a statement, but the movement of Edward's hands froze, as if Dumbledore was pointing a sharp knife at his throat.

"Okay, okay, Dumbledore," Edward suddenly laughed, waving a finger and said, "You have always known that I may not agree with some of your decisions, but I always remain silent, I will cooperate with you. But today——"

"So what are your options?" Dumbledore interrupted, his blue eyes fixed on Edward.

Edward seemed unable to think of how to answer. He sat on the sofa and shook the porcelain cup gently.

Finally, he spoke, with a hint of relief in his voice, "I have to admit, you're a smart guy."

The black magic covering the entire room disappeared, and the people lying on the ground gasped for air. They looked at Edward in horror, and then hugged each other tightly on the floor and huddled together.

This man is so scary!

"Aha, it seems you have reached a settlement." Professor McGonagall said, pretending to be happy, "Then let's think about how to solve this mess, shall we?"

"This really gives me a headache." Dumbledore sat next to Edward. He rubbed his forehead tiredly, "How about letting Severus brew a few pots of forgetfulness potion?"

"That's really great." Professor McGonagall said with a trembling voice. She looked at Edward warily. For the first time, she realized that this guy was much more powerful than she had imagined.

Even more powerful than Dumbledore.

"Then leave it to you, I think you will handle it well." Edward said, standing up, "It's really a pity, I have to reconsider finding a job for Gilderoy."

"No problem, leave it to me." Dumbledore said.He took out a pale white wand from his pocket. The elder flowers on it looked so lively in the light of the fire.

Edward patted Dumbledore on the shoulder from behind, holding hot cocoa, and strode out of the room.

"Minerva," Dumbledore turned to Professor McGonagall, "I suppose you can go and fetch Severus, right?"

Their wands had been taken away by Edward a long time ago. Without their wands, they were no different from Muggles. Not only that, they seemed to be immersed in Edward's terrifying magic pressure, and they were hugging each other and shivering at the moment.

Professor McGonagall lowered her head and looked at everyone on the ground, nodded, and left without saying a word.

She surprisingly didn't ask Dumbledore about Edward. She had a clearer sense of priorities - she would have plenty of time to ask later.

Dumbledore sighed, stood up slowly, walked to an Auror, and closed his eyes in pain.

"You will be grateful to me." After saying that, a dazzling white light flashed, and the Auror collapsed on the floor, hitting his head with a thud.

Next, Dumbledore followed suit and cast the Oblivion Curse on every Auror.

After finishing all this, Dumbledore sat on the sofa panting. Casting a dozen forgetting spells at once was not enough for him. The pressure was enough to clear everyone's last 10 minutes or so. It's a delicate job to not cause them to feel strange.

Soon, Professor McGonagall came back with Snape. As soon as he entered the door, he was frightened by the sight in front of him.

"You finally took action against the Ministry of Magic?" Snape drawled, and kicked the thing that looked like a fat pink pig.

"Severus, I need you to brew a few pots of calming potion. They need a good sleep." Dumbledore said with difficulty. He stood up from the sofa, but staggered and almost fell. Fortunately, Mai Professor Ge helped him in time.

"I made up a memory for them. I believe no one will notice anything strange unless they dig deeper." Dumbledore said tiredly, "I need you to strengthen this effect and prevent them from becoming suspicious of today's events. "

"How about forgetting potion and calming potion?" Snape thought for a moment and then gave the optimal solution.

"A very good combination. I believe they won't notice anything unusual after a good sleep." Dumbledore smiled and said, "I just want to trouble you and Minerva. Send them there quietly." Go to the camp and don’t let the students find out.”

Professor McGonagall nodded, and she and Snape got to work together.

After leaving the principal's office, Edward did not return to his office. He came to the women's bathroom on the second floor, which is the location of the legendary secret room.

Unexpectedly, he happened to meet Moaning Myrtle.

"Ah! You must be Professor Edward Lumpo, right?" Myrtle played with her braid, "You are as handsome as they say."

Edward raised his eyebrows. Who leaked the news? Now even the ghosts in the castle know about his handsomeness?

Myrtle suddenly squirmed, lowered her head and said, "I think maybe after you die, I would like to share the same toilet with you."

"You'd better enjoy it yourself." Edward suddenly felt a little speechless, and he walked to the compartment where Myrtle was.

"Tell me how you died?" Edward asked.

Myrtle's whole demeanor changed at once.It seemed that no one had ever asked her such a question that she was honored.
