114 So, Lumpo, at what cost?
"You just need to silently say in your heart that you need a place to hide things." Riddle said, trying hard to stand up.
"You go in with me."
"Of course, of course." Riddle said quickly, and he began to walk back and forth in the corridor. Edward followed closely behind him, holding Riddle's shoulder with one hand, fearing that he would slip away without paying attention.
Of course, Edward's restraint in Riddle's soul is not that powerful. He is purely deceiving Riddle.
He just felt that Riddle's search for the whereabouts of the Horcrux was too slow. He must have known a faster way to find the Horcrux, but he had been stalling for time. Perhaps he wanted to swallow the soul fragments in the crown, or It's for some other reason.
All in all, the results are good.
With just a few tricks, Edward successfully obtained clues to a Horcrux.
Sure enough, Professor Binns and Bloody Barrow were all fooling Edward!
Thinking of this, Edward suddenly became a little angry and stretched out his hand to tear a small piece of Riddle's soul.
Riddle's body trembled almost instantly, and his feet gave way and he almost fell to the ground.
"Mr. Lumpo, you...I...I have been cooperating with you!" Riddle said feebly, and the huge pain from the depths of his soul was transmitted to every corner of his body.
He could only grit his teeth to prevent himself from shouting.
A smooth door soon appeared on the wall. Riddle held the door handle and almost fell down, but he held on to his strength, turned around slowly, and squeezed out an extremely ugly smile: "Mr. Lumpo, I want to The Horcrux is most likely inside."
Edward nodded noncommittally, raised his eyebrows, and motioned for Riddle to open the door.
Riddle was so angry that he cursed his mother. When had Voldemort ever been so angry? If there is a chance in the future, Lumpo must pay the price - I don't dare to think about it anymore.
Riddle was afraid that Edward would hear his inner thoughts, so he quickly interrupted this thought.
"Sir, it's inside. I'll open the door now." Riddle said with a forced smile.
The door was pushed open, and Edward followed Riddle into the Room of Requirement. As soon as they crossed the threshold and closed the door, the sounds outside completely disappeared, and there was silence everywhere.
This place is as big as a church, and the surrounding scenery looks like a city. Those high walls are made up of thousands of things hidden by students who are no longer alive.
"Do many people know this place?" Edward asked, his voice echoing in the silence.
"I don't think anyone knows." Riddle said with some guilt. After all, there were too many belongings of previous students left here.
"Are you sure?" Edward looked at a giant monster specimen with doubtful eyes, "Are you sure this place is a safe place to hide things?"
"Ahem," Riddle coughed to hide his embarrassment, "I think maybe 'I' thought I was the only one who could enter this place."
"There are so many things in this place, and you told me that only Voldemort knows about it?" Edward felt as if Riddle was insulting his IQ.
"Uh..." Riddle's head was a little down. In the past 16 years of his life, after he discovered the Room of Requirement, this was really what he thought!
I have never thought about how so many things in this room came out.
"Here comes the crown." Edward waved his wand, but nothing flew towards him. This place must have been under an anti-flying spell like Gringotts' vault and Umbralkon, and it would not easily hand over its collection.
"You, go find it." Edward kicked Riddle on the butt.
"Yes, sir." Riddle forced a smile to prevent himself from showing any dissatisfaction, for fear that Edward would tear his soul apart again.
Riddle began to walk through the maze, while Edward stood at the door waiting.
Bottles, hats, boxes, chairs, books, weapons, brooms, bats...
It can be said that the garbage of Hogwarts has been hidden here for thousands of years. No one has ever sorted it out. Riddle had to carefully move through the maze to avoid knocking down the garbage wall.
Almost an hour passed, and Edward was getting bored of waiting.
"Tom!"
"I'm here, sir." Riddle shouted almost instantly, "I'm here!"
Edward couldn't see Riddle's raised hand at all, and a wall of garbage several people high was between them.
"We should go back for lunch. I think we have plenty of time to search for the whereabouts of the Horcrux."
"Yes, sir." It took Riddle nearly a quarter of an hour to run out of the depths of the maze. He was out of breath, but he still remained as elegant as possible in front of Edward, for fear of being unreasonably affected again. Reason to eat his soul.
"One week, I'll give you one week." Edward gestured with his finger, "I need to see the crown, or some other Horcrux."
"Sir, that's impossible -" Riddle opened his mouth in disbelief, "There is too much garbage here, I can't possibly do it in a week -"
"I only give you a week, Riddle." Edward said. He opened his legs and was about to leave the Room of Requirement. The moment he held the door handle, Edward suddenly thought of an interesting idea.
He stopped and held his hand on the door handle, "Riddle, tell me, if I let you out, can you teach others how to make Horcruxes?"
"Sir, the production of Horcruxes requires extremely demanding methods——"
"I asked you if it's okay?" Edward interrupted Riddle rudely and directly asked his question.
"Theoretically, it's possible. Dark wizards with a certain foundation can do it, but they need full guidance, including how to allow them to split their souls safely without driving themselves crazy." Riddle thought for a moment, replied, "But this is easily discovered by the Ministry of Magic and is not safe."
Edward suddenly showed what he thought was a kind smile, but in Riddle's eyes, it was no different from the devil's smile. The only difference was probably that Edward didn't show the two devil horns on his head.
"After you find the Horcrux, I will give you a living one and let you leave the castle and leave Europe. You can do what you want and show your ambitions in another place." Edward said in a relaxed tone.
But this made Riddle nervous and asked subconsciously.
"Well, Mr. Rumple, what's the price?"
"You go in with me."
