Konoha: This Sasuke is not too cold

Chapter 5: First Encounter

After leaving the ninja school, Sasuke walked along the street.

When passing by the flower shop on the street, Sasuke couldn't help but stop. After a moment of silence, he walked in.

"Please give me two bouquets of white chrysanthemums."

A childish and cold voice interrupted Yamanaka Reino, who was lowering his head to arrange the bouquet.

She raised her head and looked at the little boy standing at the door. The Uchiha clan emblem was embroidered on the right arm of his black shirt.

"Okay, guest, please wait a moment." Yamanaka Reino showed a gentle smile, then wrapped two bouquets of white chrysanthemums and walked to Sasuke.

She knelt down and handed two bouquets of white chrysanthemums to Sasuke.

Sasuke glanced at the price list on the wall, took out a 1000 tael note and handed it to the other party before taking the two bouquets of white chrysanthemums.

"Thank you." Sasuke bowed slightly and thanked him solemnly.

If the other party gives him respect, he should return the favor.

Seeing Sasuke turning around and leaving, Yamanaka Reino couldn't help but clutch the note in her hand and sighed.

"What a miserable child." After being silent for a while, watching the little figure disappear into the crowd, Yamanaka Reino stood up, turned around and continued to work.

Holding two bouquets of white chrysanthemums, Sasuke felt a little dazed.

He slowly walked towards the location of the Uchiha Ancestral Hall.

The dead Uchiha clan members were all buried on the mountain behind the ancestral hall, which was also the place Sasuke least wanted to go to since he was discharged from the hospital.

On a path rarely traveled by people, Hinata looked at the familiar figure in front of her and couldn't help but stop.

"Sasuke-san" There was a complicated look in her white eyes.

This afternoon, she heard the conversation between Sasuke and Iruka-sensei.

"Don't you want to be a ninja anymore..." Hinata looked at the figure in front of her, feeling a little depressed.

Because Sasuke's words reminded her of what her father had said to her.

"Hinata, if your personality cannot be changed, then giving up becoming a ninja may be the right choice."

Hinata Hiashi's stern tone still seemed to echo in her ears, making her little head buzz.

In the concept of this world, ninja seems to be the best way to realize self-worth.

Anyone with some talent will never give up on becoming a ninja.

Sasuke's words this afternoon really shocked everyone in the class.

Thinking about her own problem, Hinata silently followed Sasuke and walked forward.

There are two roads at the end of this path, the one on the left leads to the Uchiha clan, and the one on the right leads to the Hinata clan.

This road is rarely traveled because it is so remote.

But Hinata is a big fan of this trail. She likes this quiet feeling very much.

In fact, when she was in school, Sasuke also walked here in the morning, and the two of them would often meet, but Sasuke never paid attention to her.

The two of them walked one behind the other and soon reached the end of the path.

Although Sasuke was in a daze, his body's instincts were still there.

At the fork in the road, he turned and walked to the left.

Uchiha and Hyuga are both big clans, and their clan cannot be in the center of Konoha. However, compared to the Hyuga clan, Uchiha's clan is really very marginalized.

Standing at the intersection, Hinata looked at Sasuke's back. She didn't know why, but felt a little blocked in her heart.

"He must be very sad..."

After a long silence, Hinata didn't understand why, so she slowly followed.

Walking through the once familiar streets, there was no sight of the past, empty and dead.

Sasuke lowered his eyes and pursed his lips.

The bloody scene in the memory reappeared, as if everything happened yesterday.

In the empty streets, except for the echo of the wind, there was no other sound.

It's like walking into this place and you are the only one left in the world.

Hinata looked at the empty streets, feeling a little scared.

There was even dried dark brown blood on some floors that had not been cleaned up.

If it weren't for the silhouette of Sasuke in front of her, Hinata would have turned around and run away.

After walking through the clan territory and along the mountain road for half an hour, Sasuke finally arrived at his destination.

A large neat pile of graves came into view, which was extremely impactful.

Placing the white chrysanthemum in front of his parents' tombstone, Sasuke lowered his eyes and reached out to touch the words on it.

The cold touch made Sasuke's hands and feet numb.

In his memory, his father's seriousness and his mother's tenderness reappeared. In the end, he couldn't control his emotions, and a tear streaked his cheek.

Sasuke sat down in front of the tombstone, hugged his knees with his hands, buried his head in his arms, and couldn't stop his tears from falling.

Sasuke wanted to cry, but he held it back. His family was gone and no one would comfort him like before. He needed to grow up and be strong...

Hinata stood in the shade of a tree not far away, lost in thought.

She had never seen Sasuke so vulnerable.

In her memory, Sasuke had always been number one in grade, handsome and very popular with girls.

But because he always looks cool, he has no friends in school and almost never talks to anyone.

But Hinata knew that Sasuke was actually a very gentle person.

She had seen it more than once. On the way to school, Sasuke brought milk from home to feed the little wild cats.

After school, I would also buy some dried fish and feed them to the little wild cats.

But one day later, those wild cats disappeared, and Hinata never saw them again. For the next few days, Sasuke seemed to be in a very low mood.

Hinata has also seen Sasuke help some of his bullied peers.

It's just that those people he helped seemed to be afraid of him, or perhaps afraid of the Uchiha clan emblem behind him, and would always run away without even saying thank you.

He has been expressing his tenderness and kindness in his own way, but no one seems to understand.

After being silent for a while, Hinata pinched the corner of her clothes tightly, as if she had made up her mind...

"Sasuke-san, please, please have your condolences."

A childish and soft voice sounded in his ears. Sasuke raised his head in a daze and turned to look in the direction of the sound.

A snow-white handkerchief was held in front of him by a small hand.

Sasuke was silent for a while, then took the handkerchief.

"Thank you...Hinata"

Sasuke had recognized the person. Although he was a little surprised, he had no intention of asking why the person appeared here.

"So, Sasuke-kun, do you remember my name?" Hinata was a little surprised and a little surprised. She was surprised that her words were not knotted.

"After all, we often met him when we were in school." Sasuke lowered his eyes and stopped crying. He just stared at the tombstone in front of him quietly, in a daze.

Hinata also sat down a seat away from Sasuke and said no more.

In fact, even she herself didn't know what she was doing, but she felt surprisingly calm in her heart. She didn't feel nervous, just a little bit happy.

The two small figures sat quietly until the sun set.
