The Daily Life of a Hogwarts Warfare Professor
Chapter 14 The Eve of School
Victor spent a week completing the preparation of the textbook.
The private diary has completely turned into a public textbook. It contains forty basic cards selected by Victor for first graders.Basically, they are low-end versions of Victor’s personal deck.
Once compiled, the "Fusion" card appears to have been drained of ancient Egyptian magic and turned into a blank slate.
Victor could only regretfully remove it from his deck.
However, it can be reused forty times, which is considered a superior card among Victor's high-end cards.
Moreover, the larch wood wand that was ordered from Ollivander's Wand Shop was much easier to use than Victor expected.
Victor specially wrote a feedback letter, describing in detail the feeling of using the wand, and sent it to Ollivander's boss using the owl clock email address. The boss is quite proud.
After the textbooks are compiled, there is still one week left before school starts.Victor began his days of loafing around Hogwarts, entertaining cats and dogs.
He slightly modified his tree tower and cast a small spell on the vines at the door:
If a student who does not do well in war studies in the future, or a guest he doesn't like, comes to his office from the tree tower, he will be hit by the "Guest Spur Curse" and run into some trouble.
Time quickly came to August 31st.
A few days before the start of school, the professors at Hogwarts were returning to school from summer vacation.
Victor visited these professors he was familiar with one after another.
Among them, Quirinas Quirrell was also included.
"Professor Quirrell, forgive me for not having much impression of you when I was a student at Hogwarts. I heard Dean Flitwick say that you were also born in Ravenclaw. May I ask, if you have this problem on your head?" Does the purple turban hide any special wisdom?"
Victor asked knowingly and maliciously. Then he watched Professor Quirrell stutter and defend himself helplessly.
I really wanted to pull off the hood and look at Voldemort's face.
Seeing a person without a nose in person must be much more shocking than the special effects in a movie.Victor's hands itched.
On the eve of the start of school, several professors with whom I had good relationships organized a small party.
The heads of Ravenclaw, Gryffindor and Hufflepuff gathered together to complain about difficult students and exchange some teaching experiences.
I won’t tell you who is missing from the party.
Victor was also invited to go.The location is in the Hufflepuff Common Room underneath Hogwarts Castle.
After arriving in the underground corridor, Victor tapped the melody of "Helga Hufflepuff" against the second barrel in the middle of the second row from below.
The barrels and professors in the lounge gave him a warm welcome.
"Thank you for inviting me, Professor Sprout. Fortunately, I did well in herbal medicine class."
Victor greeted the Head of Herbology in Hufflepuff. The coat rack next to him stretched out its branches and peeled off Victor's windbreaker and hung it up.
"Come in, Victor, oh, maybe we should call you Professor Eisner instead. Well, that's a little difficult for me."
A few more wrinkles appeared on Professor Flitwick's face.
There was still mud on his clothes. Professor Sprout, who had just come out of the greenhouse, patted Flitwick heavily on the shoulder, knocking off a few strands of the little mixed-blood goblin professor's white beard.
"Relax, Filius. It's great news to be working with a former student.
"Oh, Victor, you don't know, just before you arrived, Filius talked to us about you, and saw that the young genius who just came to Hogwarts in his teens, full of aura, grew up in the blink of an eye. I saw a tall wizard in white robes, and he was moved to tears."
Professor Flitwick was a little embarrassed and eager to change the subject.Victor noticed that his white-bearded face was turning a little red.
"I hope there will be a few more talented and less naughty students in Gryffindor this year."
Oh, then you will be disappointed.Victor looked at Professor McGonagall with an expression of pity.Gryffindor's little troublemaker will deduct points from you and make you doubt your life.
But they are good kids.Victor recalled the little wizards who entered school at the same level as Harry Potter in the original book.
Neville should be very popular with Professor Sprout. He is a sensitive little boy who is good at all things herbalism and is more patient with plants than others.
Although he was a Gryffindor, he often used the devil's net in the Herbology class with the Hufflepuff students in his later years to deal with Voldemort.
Ravenclaw...
Victor found himself falling into the blank space of the original work again.
Which students are enrolling in Ravenclaw this year?
Alas, he is not the author's biological son, so he has no reputation after all.
The four of them communicated affectionately for a while, and the elves in the kitchen next door brought some midnight snacks and wine. Under the catalysis of alcohol, Professor McGonagall complained a lot about the Weasley twins.
"Their punishment sheets fill up half a drawer. I went to Dumbledore's office and saw the list of new students. There is also a Weasley boy coming this year. I think I should not count on the House Cup this year..."
Victor raised the corners of his mouth slightly but said nothing.
Professors Flitwick and Sprout were also drunk. They and Professor McGonagall are old colleagues who have worked together for many years, and they have a lot of past events in their stomachs.
Victor listened to the old gossip with great interest, and was especially curious about the relationship history of the professors.
When Professor Flitwick was recalling the love affairs of his youth, there was a sudden knock on the door of the Hufflepuff common room.
Boom, boom, boom.
Professor Sprout wondered, "I don't think the secret code in Hufflepuff's common room is so difficult that you need to knock on the door for help."
"I'll open the door." Victor stood up.
The door opened and gamekeeper Hagrid appeared.
"Oh, Victor, you're here too. How about, are you nervous about facing a bunch of little guys tomorrow? When I enrolled in Hogwarts, from the moment I got on the ship...
"Sorry, I forgot that I came to Professor McGonagall to discuss welcoming new students tomorrow. Uh, Professor McGonagall, are you still awake?"
Victor turned around and found that Professor McGonagall had switched back to "working mode" at some point.
Her serious and majestic eyes glanced around the lounge, and then said, for the sake of tomorrow's work, let's break up tonight.
The professors left their seats.Victor took the coat handed to him by the coat rack and prepared to return to his tree tower.
Hagrid was reciting tomorrow's routine loudly, as if he would forget it if he didn't recite it all the time.
Victor took two steps, saw the professors walking away, and then walked to Hagrid's side.
He asked Hagrid if he would be free later. He wanted to sit in Hagrid's hut and had a troublesome question to ask.
"The guards work at night. I have plenty of time, but what kind of problem is worthy of your visit?"
Victor mysteriously asked Hagrid to lower his head and said in his ear:
"I got a 'dragon' card some time ago, but this dragon is too difficult to tame."
He opened the flagon card slot and drew a monster card from the deck.A black dragon with red eyes flies sinisterly over the Pharaoh card.
