Weasley is our king at Hogwarts
Chapter 26 Questioning
"Professor, I have a question!" Fred looked at the shining wand in his hand with confusion.
"What's the problem?" Professor Charles raised his head slightly and looked at Fred.
Fred looked at the still shining wand in his hand and asked: "I found that after casting the wand illuminating spell, the wand will always light up. How do I stop this wand illuminating spell? Do I throw away the wand?"
Professor Charles laughed loudly, "Hahaha! Interesting! Throwing away the wand is also a good choice, Fred! But the conventional method is to cast the corresponding counter-curse. For example, the counter-curse of the wand lighting curse is 'Dark as Night' ', Wand Extinguishing Curse."
"Counter curse?" Fred looked confused.
Professor Charles nodded and replied in the affirmative, "Yes, generally speaking, most spells with continuous effects will have corresponding counterspells, you see."
"Fluorescence!" Professor Charles's wand lighted up, emitting a faint white light.
"Dark as night!" Professor Charles' wand extinguished the white light.
Professor Charles shrugged, "I originally wanted to wait until you have mastered the wand illuminating spell in this class before I teach you about it. Since you brought it up first, I will just teach you about the wand extinguishing spell."
"Bah!" Professor Charles clapped his generous hands, attracting the attention of all the little wizards in the classroom.
After seeing the eyes of the little wizards focused on him, Professor Charles said, "Let's talk about the wand extinguishing spell now, which is the counter-spell of the wand illuminating spell, used to extinguish your lit wands."
"Its spell is 'black as night'. The gesture of casting the spell is exactly the opposite of the wand lighting spell. Just draw a circle the size of an egg counterclockwise. Look carefully." Professor Charles began to wave the wand in his hand.
"Fluorescent flashes!"
"Dark as night!"
Professor Charles demonstrated again, his wand lighting up with the spell and then going out again.
"Okay, everyone, continue practicing. If you have any questions, just call me." Professor Charles started with the students closest to him and slowly patrolled the classroom, pointing out the little wizards' movements or mispronunciation.
It was lunch time soon. Compared to the Defense Against the Dark Arts class in the morning, Fred was also very concerned about the Transfiguration class in the afternoon.
After all, it can increase your chances of survival in the final battle of Hogwarts.
Just when Fred and George were half full, Charlie came over and said, "Fred, George, come with me to the principal's office."
"What's wrong? What happened?" Fred asked, still holding a roasted chicken leg in his hand.
Charlie replied helplessly: "You should know best what happened, right?"
"Um...I don't know, I'm confused right now." Fred looked confused, and George looked at Charlie with the same confusion.
"You really don't know?" Charlie himself was a little confused.
"I really don't know." Fred said firmly.
Charlie gave up thinking, "Forget it, just come with me first."
Charlie wanted to lead the way for Fred and George, but found that these two brothers were more familiar with the road than him, and they came straight to the hippogriff statue opposite Gryffindor Tower.
"Wait here, Professor McGonagall said she would come down to pick us up." Charlie said with his hands on his hips.
Fred didn't think so, "Wait? Let's just go up?"
"You can't get in. Even I, the prefect, don't know the password to get in." Charlie explained helplessly.
However, the next second, Fred and George were standing next to the hippogriff statue, "Ice lemon juice!"
A huge statue of a hippogriff began to rotate along with the base, rising continuously, and Fred and George disappeared on it.
"Merlin's underpants, what's going on with these two people! Isn't the password to the principal's office only known by the professor?! Could it be that this isn't the first time they have gone to the principal's office? Have they gone in because of mistakes before?" Charlie He grabbed his hair with both hands, not daring to imagine what would happen next, for fear that his mother would be angry again!
Fred and George didn't think so. They were still in a confused state. They once again came to this earth-gray wall. On the wall was a black-gray door the size of Hagrid.
There were also voices of several people talking inside.
Fred curled his fingers and knocked on the door of Dumbledore's office.
The conversation in the room stopped, and only Dumbledore's breathy voice was heard, "Come in."
Fred opened the door, and there was Dumbledore with white hair and white beard sitting behind the desk directly opposite. Next to him stood a serious-looking Professor McGonagall, and Filch holding Mrs. Norris.
"Ah! Just in time!" Filch looked at Fred and George with a ferocious expression, "It's them, they didn't sleep last night, sneaked out and ran to the second floor of the castle for who knows what! And... still Injured my Mrs. Norris!"
After saying that, Filch wiped away his tears and said, "My poor Mrs. Norris, she could barely walk a few steps all night. She couldn't move last night. She is so pitiful..."
Dumbledore looked at Fred and George with a pair of wise eyes and said nothing.
On the other hand, Professor McGonagall stared at Fred and George with sharp eyes and asked, "Is that so? Fred? George? Did you really sneak out in the middle of the night?"
"What's the problem?" Professor Charles raised his head slightly and looked at Fred.
