Professor of Pharmacy at Hogwarts

Chapter 233, Shy Lupine

Alexis looked up and curled her lips.

This standard is far worse than the Byron Hotel.

He glanced at Tonks, who was exuding vitality, pursed his lips, and then was warned by Christie's eyes that he swallowed back the strange anger he was about to blurt out.

"Let's go."

Alexis was full of yin and yang anger and had nowhere to vent it, so she could only say something dryly.

Fortunately, this time was very close to the time when Tonks got off work. Lupine had just come back and was changing clothes to prepare for the movie date in the evening. When he opened the door and saw three people standing outside the door, Lupine had a look on his face. There was a moment of shock, and then he stepped aside to get out of the way.

"Remus!"

Tonks greeted Lupin happily, walked into the room with ease, sat down on the edge of the bed, and stretched her legs comfortably.

Lupine lowered his head slightly, not daring to look at Alexis, and murmured for a long time without saying a word.

This reaction made Alexis feel strange. Could it be that Lupine didn't want to go out with Tonks? But if he doesn't want to, why should he come to London?

Alexis couldn't understand.

"Lupin, we are going to find you at school. Christie said you are in London."

Alexis spoke dryly, and to outsiders, it even sounded a bit reproachful.

Christie nudged Alexis and smiled.

"Alexis has something to discuss with you. I heard from Aberforth that you are in London. I hope I don't disturb you."

Lupine shook his head.

It's even stranger.

Although Lupine didn't talk much on weekdays, this was the first time Alexis had met him without saying a word since they met.

Christie turned back and glanced at Alexis, then stepped forward and took Tonks' arm with a smile.

"Let the men talk about their boring things first. Tonks, I haven't been to London for a long time. Do you want more girl time? For example, let's go shopping for some clothes?"

Tonks looked at Lupine, then at Alexis, and stood up.

"Okay, I know there is a Muggle-owned clothing store nearby. Let's go."

"Seriously, Christie, we're going to see Lovers. Do you and Alexis want to go together? I heard it's really good."

The two girls left arm in arm, leaving Alexis and Lupine alone in the room.

Lupine's whole body relaxed, he sat down on the bed and let out a long breath.

"Hey! Brother, you don't seem to like being around that Ms. Tonks?"

Alexis asked.

Lupine glanced at Alexis, lowered his head and was silent for a moment, then said with a depressed expression.

"Alexis, you have to understand that she is only 19 years old, which is the best time of her life, and I am already over 30. Besides, I am still..."

He spoke very quietly to the werewolf behind him, but when he said that word, it seemed that all the strength in his body had been drained. After saying that, he raised his head and threw himself into the bed, and let out a long sigh.

"You really don't like her."

Alexis nodded, as if that was indeed the case.

"Christie also said that you two were dating, so I said, how could you like her like that..."

"Hey!"

Lupine interrupted Alexis' chattering dissatisfied and sat up again, "It's none of her business. I mean, I... forget it, you don't understand even after I tell you."

"Why do you think so?" Alexis looked at Lupine strangely. "How can I understand if you don't tell me?"

"Anyway, you just don't understand. If you understand...if my guess is correct, you and Christie are doing something, rather than just hanging out together."

"That's right!"

Lupine rolled his eyes, looking defeated by Alexis.

"Okay, what do you want to see me for?"

Alexis repeated what he had said to Christie, roughly the same meaning but in more detail than to Christie, and by the time he finished, it was dark.

Fortunately, the two ladies were very considerate and came back once. Seeing that they had not finished talking, they ordered pizza for them and then went out again.

Alexis picked up a piece of pizza and stuffed it into his mouth, chewed it and swallowed it whole, and then wiped the cheese on his hand with some disgust.

"It tastes terrible! Tsk! I really don't understand how the chef in this restaurant can make something as simple as pizza so delicious! Oh my god! I feel full just from the smell."

Alexis complained to Lupin.

Although he is not usually picky about food, after all, he is a person who survived Grindelwald's pumpkin porridge, but for some reason today, he always feels that everything is not pleasing to his eyes, and he just can't help but be picky.

"How about it? Lupine, let's go together!"

"Ever since we were in school, the four of us have always dreamed of doing something earth-shattering. This thing is definitely big enough."

Of course it's big enough. It's already big enough that it's about to overturn the world.

Lupine glanced at Alexis and handed him a glass of Coke, but Alexis refused.

"I'm going to think about it..."

As soon as Lupine began to speak, Alexis's heart sank and she suddenly felt something was not good.

"Alexis, have you ever thought about how many people would be affected if you really follow your plan? We might cause harm to many people."

"That's why I need you. Lupin, I can't think everything through on my own. I need your help. With you, I can make the best of the bad things."

Alexis said sincerely

"Lupin, we are friends. I don't want to lie to you. From the time Harry entered the school to Quirrell sneaking into the school, yes, Quirrell that damn guy. I know she was kidnapped by Voldemort, but it doesn't change that he is a bastard. fact."

"Then there was the Yorkshire Massacre, the time turner was lost, and Voldemort was resurrected... Lupin, during the whole process, we had a lot of dealings with the Ministry of Magic and the International Confederation of Wizards. A few days ago, I stood in the Wizengamot On the dock of the defendant, I experienced it personally——"

"Lupin, I have been completely disappointed with this old, corrupt, rotten and smelly wizarding world. I don't think there will be any good results if it continues. Maybe according to what I said, there may not be any good results in the end. The ending, but no matter how bad it is, it can’t be worse than it is now.”

"Now is the worst, worst, worst situation, my friend. During this process, I have been thinking about it, including my travels in the past ten years. I have been very confused——"

"Why are werewolves and centaurs discriminated against?"

"Why has the gap between Muggle-born wizards and pure-blood wizards not only not been filled over the past thousands of years, but has become deeper and deeper?"

"Why is it that in the twentieth century, there are still so many people supporting Voldemort's tactics?"

"Why do we hide like street rats?"

"Why are Muggles developing so fast, but we have been stuck in the same place, arguing about a Hogwarts Express train for half a century?" [Note]

"Why is Spider End Alley still there? Lupin, we passed by Spider End Alley and saw what the annoying Snape's house looked like."

"Why? I have too many questions. It wasn't until I experienced recent events that I figured it out——"

"My friend, if you do have any hesitation, please stand by my side for a while and take a good look. When I am about to make a mistake, reach out your hand to help me. No matter what, please don't ignore them."
