Professor of Pharmacy at Hogwarts

Chapter 276, Aberforth’s special comfort

"Aberforth, I-"

Aberforth held Alexis's slightly trembling palm, his expression becoming solemn.

"What happened? What happened?"

Alexis shook her head and took another swig of wine.

"There are a few werewolves causing trouble."

"They were carrying guns."

"rifle."

Alexis' voice rose slightly.

"Da da da— da da da—"

He bent three fingers, raised his thumb, pointed his index finger at Aberforth, and imitated the sound of a gun in his mouth.

"Rifle! A rifle invented by Muggles!"

Alexis, who was a bit high-spirited, shook her head, her shoulders slumping.

"I caught them and killed two of them. One was burned to death by the fire escape body, and the other was blown to pieces."

"But it doesn't feel good."

"Aberforth, I got scared when I was fighting."

He said the word "fear" very lightly.

"When the shots rang out, I couldn't help but think about what would happen if I got hit."

"Then the image of being hit started to come to mind."

"Aberforth, I couldn't concentrate. I was scared."

Alexis looked at Aberforth and took another sip of wine.

He drank most of the bottle of wine in three gulps.

Aberforth didn't say anything. He sat next to Alexis and patted Aberforth's shoulder gently.

"How could I be afraid?"

Alexis was still talking.

"I've been fighting Grindelwald since I was little, then Dumbledore, then you, Professor Flitwick...I wasn't even afraid when I fought Voldemort in the cemetery."

"When I was traveling in Country M a few years ago, I encountered several gun battles. Oh, and one time there was a bomb in a shopping mall. You know bombs, right? It's like that - boom!"

Alexis gestured, waving her arms back and forth, looking a little funny.

"I wasn't even scared at that time."

"Why am I scared this time?"

"I'm not even afraid of the Hungarian Horntail."

After finishing one bottle of wine, Alexis reached for the second bottle.

Aberforth never cared about his drinking, and even secretly encouraged him sometimes.

"Once, it was just me, oh, and Horn, that silly bird, just the two of us. We went to steal dragon eggs, and suddenly three Chinese fire dragons appeared."

"Three heads!"

"I'm not even afraid."

"I also stole a dragon egg, ran away with it, and was chased by the fire dragon for most of the mountain range."

"I'm not even afraid."

"Why am I scared this time?"

Alexis turned her head and looked pitifully at Aberforth.

"It's normal to be afraid, kid."

Aberforth hugged Alexis, opened a bottle of wine for himself, and said slowly

"Fear is normal. Fear is a normal emotion when facing the unknown."

Alexis shook his head and said stubbornly, "No, what you said is wrong."

"I know guns, I know them. I know werewolves. It's not unknown. You're not right."

Aberforth didn't argue with Alexis, he just drank with him.

Alexis, in an emotional state and soon drunk, opened a new bottle of wine and muttered something while Aberforth just sat beside him and listened quietly.

Finally, the table was filled with wine bottles. When Alexis reached for a new bottle, one of them slipped along the table and onto the floor.

Aberforth put down his drink, bent down and picked up Alexis, and carried him to the bedroom.

Put him on the bed, take off his coat, cover him with a quilt, and pat him gently.

"It's normal to be afraid, little Alexis, and there's nothing shameful about it."

He said softly

"Little Alexis, you know how to be afraid, which makes me a little happy. This shows that you finally know how to cherish your life."

"I have been worried about you since you were a child. I am worried that under the training of those two bastards, you will remember the curse, justice, and fairness, but you will not remember yourself."

"Child, it's normal to be afraid. It turns out that you are like that, which makes me even more worried."

Alexis rolled over, made an inarticulate grunt, and waved her hand as if to ward off flies. This made Aberforth chuckle slightly.

"Get a good night's sleep."

Aberforth finished speaking softly, stood up and left.

He disagreed with the way Grindelwald and Dumbledore raised Alexis from the beginning. How can a KB member, a lunatic, and two lunatics educate children?

Grindelwald taught Alexis powerful spells, taught him all kinds of insidious and cunning tricks, Dumbledore taught him so-called justice, taught him so-called noble pursuits and noble character, but what is the use of these?

In Aberforth's opinion, none of these were useful, and they couldn't even compare to Alexis' silly smile when she was secretly drunk.

Both of these people are cultivating Alexis according to their own expectations. Are they cultivating Alexis, or are they cultivating another self?

How can you raise such a good child that you don’t even know what fear is? How can you still be proud?

Aberforth looked down on Grindelwald and Dumbledore, and he looked down on them from beginning to end.

……

The sun rises as usual on Thursday, and a new day arrives as scheduled.

It wasn't delayed by last night's unexpected events, nor was it stalled by Alexis' fear.

So of course a hungover Alexis was late.

When he woke up, wore wrinkled clothes, and rushed to school after eating the unknown breakfast made by Aberforth, the third-year wizards in the pharmacy classroom had already begun to "move freely."

Standing at the door and knocking Fumu on the head, Alexis frowned and walked into the classroom. The noisy little wizards suddenly fell silent.

They stared at Alexis with their eyes wide open for a while, and then they realized what was happening. They dispersed with a loud noise and returned to their seats to sit down, looking serious and eager to learn.

Alexis stood in front of the desk, took out his pocket watch and looked at it.

Very good, it will be over in ten minutes.

He was more than an hour and a half late.

He raised his head and stared at each other with the little wizards for a while before Alexis coughed dryly.

"Sorry, I have something to do in the morning."

His voice was a little hoarse, the result of a night of drinking.

"There are still 10 minutes left. Let's not talk about this class for now. Go back and preview. We will speed up the next class and make up for the content of this class."

After explaining, Alexis left the classroom.

Instead of going back to his office, he went all the way to the principal's office.

Dumbledore seemed a little surprised by his arrival. When Alexis arrived, he was changing his clothes and getting ready to go out.

"Where?" Alexis asked.

"Give them to Auror Command."

Dumbledore pointed at the two werewolves.

The two werewolves were still unconscious, and the blood on their clothes had dried into brown stains.

Alexis glanced at the werewolf.

"Do you want the time turner to be returned to them too?"

Dumbledore raised his head and glanced at Alexis strangely.

"Of course. You want it?"

"I think it's better not to give it to them." Alexis shook his head and said.
