Chapter 12 The Kitchen

??

Noah and Eve followed the road last night to the auditorium, which is also their cafeteria.

The table was already full of food, and many students had already sat down and began to enjoy the food.

Noah and Eve sat down at the long table in Slytherin, and Koya poked his head eagerly.

Noah skillfully stuffed it back: "I'll take you to the kitchen later."

Only then did Keya obediently obediently wrap around his wrist and stop moving.

"Has it always been like this?" Eve saw this scene in his eyes.

"It's just lazy." Noah shook his head, "Fortunately, he won't run around, at least I don't have to worry about him hurting others while others are not paying attention."

"So he is poisonous?" Eve lowered her voice.

Noah looked up at her: "No." At least not yet.

But it's hard to say when the Ke sub poisonous sac is fully developed.

Eve looked away in disappointment, making Noah's eyelids twitch.

I thought there was something wrong with this girl before, but now it seems that the problem is a bit big.

When the two of them were about to finish their breakfast, three of Noah's roommates stepped into the dining room one after another.

Warrington and Montague walked in front, and Morgan walked behind alone, leaving a long distance on purpose.

Warrington and Montague saw Noah and Eve at a glance. They looked at each other and smiled tacitly at each other. Instead of disturbing them, they found another seat and sat down.

Morgan, who came in last, didn't see the two of them at all. He just found a seat far away from Warrington and Montague, and found Noah not far from him after he sat down.

Morgan: "..."

He lowered his head, pretending not to see Noah, and ate breakfast in silence.

Eve did recognize these three, and she raised her eyebrows: "It seems that your roommates don't get along very well."

Noah didn't deny it either: "There is a little contradiction."

Eve glanced sideways at Morgan, and leaned closer to Noah: "I thought you would at least establish yourself first."

Noah took a sip of the soup: "I don't have much interest in this."

"That's right," Eve didn't care, "With your strength, these things will happen sooner or later."

Slytherin has always respected strength, and even family background has to be ranked second.Of course, the premise is that you are not a "mudblood".

Noah didn't speak this time, but once again he was more aware of the Slytherin atmosphere.

A little snake that hasn't officially entered school has already achieved corresponding awareness. It seems that the thinking of Slytherin House comes more from the concept of family.

But yes, most of them here are ambitious or high-ranking pure blood.

After the two had finished their breakfast, Eve began to inquire about Noah's next plans.

"Do you have any plans for the future?"

"I'm going to go to the kitchen first." Noah naturally has an arrangement, he will feed Koya first, and then go on to visit the castle.

"Although I really want to go with you, I have other things to do." Eve was a little disappointed, she obviously had other arrangements.

Speaking of which, she stood up and nodded to Noah: "Then I'll go first."

After she finished speaking, she left. Her two roommates had been waiting at the door of the auditorium for a long time, and immediately followed her when they saw her come out.

Noah watched their figures disappear at the door: "Suddenly I know a little about the Lestrange family."

As soon as Eve left, Warrington and Montague immediately sat next to Noah with two plates of food, and they smiled narrowly at Noah: "That one seems to be from the Lestrange family. Miss. That’s fine, I’ve established a good relationship with that lady since the beginning of my studies.”

"I just met on the train." Noah stood up, "I plan to visit the castle again, so I'll go first."

Warrington and Montague waved to him and went on to settle their breakfast.

Noah walked out of the auditorium. He still knew where the kitchen was. As far as the location was concerned, it was just below the auditorium, so the door should also be underground.

Noah went underground again, and found a long corridor along the way.

Unlike Slytherin's living quarters, although this place is also underground, it is not cold and damp. The flames on the walls are dense and bright, making it feel a little warm underground.

Much better than the Slytherin zone.

The kitchen should be very close to the Hufflepuff lounge, at least Noah saw a lot of Hufflepuff students here.

They probably recognized Noah, the Slytherin, and couldn't help casting their gazes.

Noah didn't pay attention to their gaze, and followed the magic breath to stop in front of a portrait.

Different from the other portraits, this one depicts a fruit bowl. Noah stopped in front of this obviously different portrait, looked at the painting carefully, and thought about how to open the kitchen door.

"Noah?"

"Good morning, Cedric." Noah turned his head and saw Cedric coming out of the Hufflepuff lounge, and greeted him.

"Good morning." Cedric glanced at the portrait in front of him, "Do you want to go to the kitchen?"

Noah nodded: "I'm going to get some food for Keya."

Cedric nodded, raised his hand and scratched the pear on the painting: "Just scratch here."

As he moved, the pear cracked its mouth into a grin and transformed into a doorknob.

"This is what our prefect told us last night." Cedric blinked his eyes. "I just happened to go to fix breakfast, after all, it seems that I can't catch up with breakfast now."

Breakfast here was served for an hour, but Cedric was obviously up late too.

"Suddenly I'm envious of you guys." Noah made a rare joke.

"To be honest, I'm also envious." Cedric showed a big smile, but Noah had already read his pride.

Well, living next to the kitchen is indeed enviable.

Noah pressed the doorknob and pushed the door open, or this portrait was the door.

The structure of the kitchen is a bit like the auditorium on the first floor. It has a large space. There are four long wooden tables inside. Some house elves are busy inside, disappearing and appearing again and again.

The entry of the two quickly attracted the attention of these house elves, and several of them immediately came over: "Dear little wizard, is there anything we can do to help you?"

Cedric pointed to the table: "Can I have something to eat? I think I'm a bit late for breakfast."

"Give me some raw meat, fish will be fine."

"Raw meat?" The house elves looked at Noah in surprise, "Little wizards can't eat raw meat! So there is no edible raw meat here! No!"

"It's my pet." Noah said softly, "It's not me."

"Okay!" The house elf softened his tone, and said loudly, "Please wait a moment!"

The house-elves who learned of their needs dispersed immediately and began to happily prepare the food they needed.

Noah and Cedric sat at the long wooden table, and soon several plates were brought to them.
