Chapter 20 New Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.

Nick was stunned. There were two phones on the table. One was a nine-level encrypted number that only a few senior high-level agents and several high-ranking figures in the World Security Council knew. The other was an ordinary encrypted number for official business.

Every time someone calls from that black nine-level encryption number, what is reported always gives Nick a headache. After all, even the theft of several dirty bombs some time ago was only reported by agents through official phone calls.

"Ding-ding-ding-ding-ding~"

Fortunately, however, it was only the ordinary encrypted business phone that rang this time, and Nick picked up the phone.

"Hey, um, tell me."

Agent Hill on the side was sorting out the documents in her hand. She was a level 9 SHIELD agent, and the phone that rang was not the number that had been encrypted at level 9.

And Nick didn't mean to let her go out and wait, so she didn't avoid it. After all, with level nine authority, she was qualified to know more than 90% of SHIELD's things.

But Hill saw Nick's face getting darker and darker when he answered the phone, and felt something bad in his heart.

"Yeah, I know." Nick put down the phone and sighed.

Hill didn't ask any more questions, but was about to continue the report and summary, but Nick spoke before her, "Tony Stark, Howard's son, was captured in the Middle East. The situation is not clear enough at the moment. Please inform Coulson." , let him lead two special service teams to investigate and rescue, and unlock the sixth level authority for him to mobilize the armed forces."

Hill nodded, put down the documents in his hands, and prepared to go out, but was stopped by Nick.

"By the way, how did Natasha deal with the three dirty bombs recovered from her last mission?" Nick asked.

For some reason, Nick always had a bad feeling today, and when he mentioned Natasha, one of the ace agents of his organization, this feeling was even more amplified.

"It has been handed over to the military. They should hand it over to the biochemical troops in the dark for destruction in the next few days. After all, I don't know if the terrorist organization is involved in it, although according to the investigation, they do not have that level of scientific research and logistics. Guarantee." Agent Hill said calmly.

Nick nodded slowly, but still felt uneasy. He did not ask Agent Hill to retreat immediately, but fell into brief contemplation.

Agent Hill looked at his director, who usually remained calm despite the collapse of his family and was commonly known as facial paralysis. He was a little confused. Wasn't it because Howard's son was kidnapped? His own director probably wouldn't be so depressed even after the president was kidnapped.

As for whether his director had concealed the contents of the phone call from him, Agent Hill simply ignored this point. After all, as a level nine agent, he still had this authority, because the call he just answered was only level six. Below the level of authority, a phone call for ordinary business matters is not a phone call that has been encrypted at nine levels.

"Jingle Bell~Jingling Bell~"

Just as Nick was thinking, another phone ringing sound came. He looked at the ringing phone that had been encrypted by level nine, and his face darkened again.

Here he is, the secret agent hunch he has cultivated over the years has not gone wrong yet, Nick looks at the incoming video call and feels very headache.

Looking at Agent Hill, Hill was about to go out consciously, but Nick interrupted her again, "No, it's Natasha calling."

Hill nodded. Events or plans with level nine authority and above were all planned by the figures at the center of the power entities above. If it were Natasha, the events she reported would only be level nine at most.

Nick picked up the phone, turned on the camera, and clicked to answer, "What's wrong, Nata, who are you?"

Nick looked shocked because the person who called through the Black Widow encrypted phone was a face he had never seen before.

"Ah, it actually got through. I thought it was Chief Natasha who deceived me. Are you the director?"

An incoherent voice came from the phone.

"I am Ms. Natasha's commander, who are you?" Nick said in a low voice.

He subconsciously avoided keywords such as "agent", "SHIELD" and "director". Although Natasha's cell phone fell into someone else's hands, hiding these would not be of much use, but everything was because of Having been a spy for many years, my subconscious has followed the trend.

"Ah, I am a newly promoted agent of our organization, and I am here to report to you." Bank said excitedly in his small shop.

These words gave Nixon a tenth of a breath of relief.

After all, saying this means that something may have happened to Natasha, but she was not so horrified that she was caught by terrorists, and even the nine-level encrypted phone number of herself, the director, was tortured. She could even secretly let him know through some channels. A low-level S.H.I.E.L.D. agent contacted him.

As for the idea that Natasha had been caught and even tortured to reveal her number, Nick simply ignored it.

First, even Natasha, who has been well-trained, cannot even commit suicide. The chance of being tortured out of her nine-level encrypted number is too small. Second, what terrorist organization will say that she is after getting through this phone call? Could it be that the new SHIELD agent naively thought that this would allow him to reveal those level 10 secrets?

So Nick was temporarily bypassed by Bank, and subconsciously thought that Bank was an agent with low-level authority. First, the senior agents knew him, but Bank looked unfamiliar. Second, he was a senior agent of SHIELD, and his words were absolute. It wouldn't be unprofessional like this.

However, which department's agent was acting so carelessly? Did he wait until Natasha was rescued to give this kid away? This image would be too tarnishing the name of "Agent of S.H.I.E.L.D."

The thought flashed through Nick's mind.

But what is the situation with Natasha? Why did she hand over such a top-secret phone call to such a low-level agent? Didn’t he give her a holiday after recovering those dirty bombs to deal with a , to her, is it simply a "vacation-level mission" of using the Babylon Cannon to fight mosquitoes?

Bank's two simple words made Nick's thoughts wander, not because Bank could deceive, nor because the author gave Bank a halo that forcibly suppressed his IQ, but because Nick knew that in Natasha's case, There is nothing wrong with her. If she allows someone else to make this call, something big must have happened.

"Agent, please report what's going on over there and where Natasha is now," Nick said seriously.

"The situation here is okay for the time being. I just came to ask how much the new agent's monthly salary is and whether he will be allocated real estate." Bank said sheepishly, scratching his head.

""

"Who are you and where is Natasha?" Nick knew that he had been deceived by this kid. Are all terrorists so funny these days?

You shouldn't just come up and say a bunch of words that you don't understand, and then know through the translator that what he said is just the beginning. You and Rickon should wash their necks and wait, or you should carry the Black Widow when you come up. Will the severed head give you a prestige?

Those with lower IQs may at most think that Natasha can threaten them and make them hand over something, and let so-and-so go.

But pretending to be a low-level agent to find out what the benefits of S.H.I.E.L.D. agents are

Nick has seen many spies who have inquired about SHIELD's many secrets, but he went to great lengths to capture SHIELD's signature agent, and after some inhumane forced confessions, yes, even his own nine-level encrypted phone number was forced to confess. Na Tasha was now in Nick's mind, almost out of human shape, and even missing a few limbs. Finally, she answered the call from herself, the director of SHIELD, and the opening line was that she wanted to ask herself about the SHIELD agents. What is the monthly salary and benefits?

"Didn't I tell you that I was recommended by Chief Natasha, a new agent of SHIELD, and whatnot, my house is best allocated in the center of New York. I don't need a villa, a three-bedroom apartment is enough. Also, Chief Natasha is here."

Bank turned the camera and focused it on Natasha, who was sitting stiffly on the chair with a pale face.
