Chapter 30 Family Letter

A ball of orange fire shot out from the end of her staff, targeting the boy's face.

The speed of the fireball was not very fast, but the boy seemed to be frightened. He hesitated while holding his wand and couldn't think of a decent spell to break it. He didn't even think of falling to the ground to dodge.

Tonks regretted it as soon as she used it. This spell was very powerful. She once saw Barnaby Lee use this technique to blow a fire crab to pieces.

Fortunately, a loud voice recited the incantation: "All curses end!"

Orange light flashed, and the fireball of the blasting curse was swallowed up.

The bustling corridor just now suddenly became silent. Regulus, still holding his wand, walked quickly from the other end of the corridor.

The students consciously made way for him.

"Can anyone explain to me what you are doing?" Regulus glanced between Tonks and the Slytherin boy.

"Professor, you have seen that this mother...this person used black magic to attack me." The boy spoke first.

"I saw it. What are your names, you two?" Regulus asked, staring at the boy.

"He is Selwyn, and my name is Gagson, Federico Gagson. We are both pure-blood families..." the boy introduced with an arrogant and proud tone.

"Very well, Mr. Federico Gargson. Because you are not polite and use foul language to insult your classmates, Slytherin will deduct ten points." Regulus interrupted Gargson's self-introduction coldly. "In addition, you and Mr. Selwyn will each be deducted ten points and put in confinement for a week for using curses on your classmates. Report to Filch tonight and clean the bathroom."

Gagson did not expect such a result and stood there dumbfounded.

"Don't you all have to go to class?" Regulus turned around, and the students who were still whispering around him immediately dispersed.

"As for you, Miss Tonks, you get ten points from Hufflepuff for using a dangerous spell." He turned to Tonks, "Come to my office after lunch."

"Understood, sir."

After lunch, a somewhat anxious Tonks came to Regulus' office. Her hair turned dark brown.

"Are you going to tell Professor Sprout to fire me?" Tonks asked anxiously as soon as she saw Regulus.

"No, of course not." Regulus smiled, "I will not expel a student just because she helped her classmates seek justice."

Tonks beamed and her hair turned pink again.

"You're pretty good at the Iron Armor Curse. It seems you've practiced hard after class. But you're not allowed to use the Explosive Curse on anyone in the future. You'll blow up that Federico Gargson's head into a rotten watermelon." "Yes." Regulus put away his smile and said seriously, "If this happens, what's waiting for you won't be an expulsion notice, but a one-way ticket to Azkaban."

"I'm sorry, sir, I'm so angry. He didn't just insult me, he also insulted my parents." Tonks said, half aggrieved and half angry.

"Speaking of your parents, I think it is necessary to let them know this." Regulus walked to the desk, wrote a letter quickly, and then copied a letter that looked very old. A large seal was placed beneath the signature.

After sealing the letter, he turned to Tonks and said, "Can I borrow your owl?"

Tonks grimaced and nodded.

It's evening, somewhere in the Welsh countryside.

In a three-story house with a garden, a woman with long light brown hair and elegant makeup was trimming the potted plants on the window sill with a wand. She held a cigarette between the index fingers of her left hand and took a puff from time to time.

On the table behind her, the iron was working automatically, ironing several exquisite wizard robes; there was also a small radio next to it, playing a broadcast.

A potbellied man came out of the kitchen and placed two portions of soup on the dining table.

"Dromeda, how many times have I told you that smoking is bad for your health." The man said half fondly and half reproachfully.

"I only promised you not to do this in front of Dora." Andromeda blew out a smoke ring, then turned her head, her big eyes full of smiles.

"There's really nothing I can do about you..." The man suddenly stopped talking.

"What's wrong, Ted?"

"Shh, listen!" Ted Tonks made a silencing gesture.

"...Earlier today, an ancient house near Paris, France, was ransacked. There are currently no reports of casualties. People familiar with the matter said that no one has lived in that house for decades..." Broadcast A piece of news is being broadcast.

"It seems that Britain is still safe." After hearing the news, Ted said half-jokingly.

"You don't have to try to comfort me. Our daughter is determined to be an Auror. Did you know?" Andromeda approached Ted, feeling a little unstable. "Two days ago, the Daily Prophet reported on a werewolf attack. The thing is, if she really becomes an Auror, she will inevitably have to deal with this kind of thing in the future. Werewolf! Merlin..."

"We don't have family support, so we should support our daughter even more." Ted hugged Andromeda gently and said softly, "Dora will become an excellent Auror. Although she is as careless as me, But brave like you.”

"What are you doing! Soot fell on you!" Andromeda said angrily, "Is that Dora's owl?"

"Don't try to fool me..." Ted was interrupted by the sound of knocking on the window just in the middle of his sentence.

He had no choice but to let go of Andromeda and look out the window.

There, Tonks' owl flapped its wings against the glass with a letter tied to its foot.

"It's a letter from the school. It seems to be addressed to you." Ted took the letter off and saw the Hogwarts coat of arms and the recipient's name on it.

"For me?"

"It says 'Andromeda Black'." Ted handed the letter to Andromeda.

Hearing the name, Andromeda's face turned gloomy. If someone who wasn't familiar with her saw her current expression, they might recognize her as Bellatrix.

The letters are written in neat, sharp fonts.

The content of the letter was not long, and Andromeda read it quickly, but she remained silent for a long time. It was not until the cigarette burned out that she burned her fingers, and she suddenly woke up.

"What's wrong, Domida? Did something happen to Dora?" Ted was also a little anxious, and was about to take the letter from Andromeda's hand, "What's on the letter, show me!"

As soon as he took the letter, the writing on it burned into green flames, and the letter was burned completely.

Ted only had time to see a shield-shaped coat of arms, with a dog on the left and right, and what seemed to be a French sentence below.

and a RAB signature.

He was very confused and looked at Andromeda with questioning eyes.

"This is a letter from a relative I haven't contacted for a long time. If you have something to discuss with me alone," Andromeda answered calmly.

"Do you need me to accompany you?" Ted was a little uneasy. He knew that the relationship between Andromeda and the family had already been on fire. "Or do I not show up and protect you secretly?"

Andromeda smiled.

"No, he won't do anything against me."
