Azkaban students at Hogwarts

Chapter 28 The Invisible Opponent

They returned to Parley's house in silence.

As soon as he entered the door, he saw Parley and a local policeman.

"You two are back!..."

Before the two of them finished speaking, Roman waved his wand.

The expressions of the two people in the room were stiff, and then relaxed.

"Are these your two nephews?"

The policeman exchanged pleasantries with Pali and left quickly.

Pali also started busy with dinner with a nonchalant expression.

"Would it be bad for us to do this?" Luofu asked in a low voice.

Under Newt's influence, he didn't have that superior feeling towards Muggles.

"This is to protect him." Roman picked up his suitcase, opened it halfway, and began to fumble around.

"What did you bring?" Rolf sat on the chair and curiously poked his head into the suitcase.

"Hey, hey - you're kidding, right?"

In Rolf's horrified eyes, Roman put two shiny daggers into his robe, and took out a few things that looked like bait bombs, followed by foaming potions, and then a bunch of them. A round object that I have never seen before.

It was obvious that Roman was covered in traceless stretching spells from head to toe.

"This is illegal. The Invisible Stretching Spell cannot be used for private purposes." He secretly glanced at Pali who was busy.

The corners of Roman's mouth were pulled by muscles, and he forced a smile, "These words are really convincing from you."

Luofu smiled awkwardly, thinking of his grandfather's suitcase.

That's not something that a few traceless stretching spells can explain.

"You don't have to be like this. I plan to go to the forest tomorrow to take a look. If it doesn't work, we can still wait for rescue." Luofu tried to calm Roman's stress state.

"I suspect that this town is not as remote as we thought, and the forest is not that big." He continued to explain.

"Yes, I think so too."

Roman nodded, picked up his suitcase and was about to go out.

"Wait, what are you going to do?" Luofu stopped in front of him, "There may be danger here. We shouldn't go out and bump into each other in the dark."

"Then it's not dangerous during the day?" Roman shook his head, "At least you have to know where you are."

He took out a map he took from his uncle's study, pushed aside Luo Fu and walked out.

"Actually, you don't need to be nervous. My grandfather must have noticed something is wrong. He will find us within a few days." Luo Fu tried to persuade him to come back.

"The question is how many days will it take." Roman patted him on the shoulder and motioned for him to go out with him.

"You know how to use the Disguise Charm, right?" Roman tapped himself with his wand, and his whole body merged with the darkness like a chameleon.

"Yes." Rolf hesitated, and finally tapped himself with the wand.

But his phantom spell was not very good, and there was a feeling of disharmony with the surrounding environment during his movement.

"You can't fool even the Flobber Caterpillar, let alone the Cameramon, with your Disguise Curse." Roman reluctantly added a Disappearance Curse to him.

"you……"

Seeing his newly learned spells being used casually by Roman, Luof couldn't help but ask:

"What grade are you in?"

"Grade doesn't matter."

Roman raised the map to his eyes, and then realized that the map was also affected by the Disillusionment Curse.

He put down his hand awkwardly and coughed, "The important thing is proficiency."

When he raised his hand again, the map had returned to normal.

“Think carefully about the differences between you and your surroundings, and focus on the continuous changes of the spell rather than its instantaneous effects.”

Roman said as he tapped the map with his wand.

It glowed faintly and was filled with words that Roman couldn't understand.

"This is our location." Roman pointed at an open space in the town on the map.

"Although this is only a partial map, it can also show the density of nearby jungle."

"Then just..."

He waved his wand, and swarms of things flew out of the suitcase and began to be assembled.

Soon, a large toy off-road vehicle painted in camouflage appeared in front of them.

"You know how much a car like this costs me these days."

Roman knocked on it angrily, and then pulled out a handful of shriveled balloons from his pocket, with a small silver nugget hanging under each balloon.

Roman looked at them with some pain and tapped them with his wand.

They grew rapidly under the influence of the spell and slowly rose into the sky.

"Is that Fairy Silver?" The well-informed Luo Fu swallowed, "This should be recyclable."

"No, it's only mixed with a little bit." Roman said through gritted teeth. "It's best to recycle it."

"I feel like it's much more mixed with silver than Sikko." Luofu muttered, but then he added, "It's useless, magic can't do it at all..."

Under Luofu's surprised gaze, these balloons with silver nuggets began to rise slowly.

Roman's wand blew out a few gusts of breeze and sent them around. They flew to a certain height and began to fly with the air currents.

"Don't be silly, they don't rely on magic to float. I just used magic to change some of their flight paths."

Roman didn't want to make any unnecessary explanations. He was busy fixing three CCD-TR55 ultra-small cameras on the off-road vehicle.

Then he moved out a board with complex patterns and pasted the map on it. "The heat preservation spell won't last long. We need to get enough data before the hot air cools completely."

Roman's wand worked at a very fast frequency, and soon the map merged with the board.

Little red dots lit up on the map and began to move continuously. The simple off-road vehicle then roared and sped out.

Rove felt like he was watching an alchemy professor demonstrate.

Although he didn't know what Roman was doing, he began to seriously think about whether to leave his parents working in the United States, return to England to live with his grandfather, and transfer to Hogwarts by the way.

The level of students at Hogwarts seems to be different from what the professors at Ilvermorny say.

"In other words, we just need to wait here for them to come back?" Luo Fu breathed a sigh of relief.

"Of course not." Roman shook his head.

Luofu became nervous instantly.

"You wait here for them to come back." Roman put the board into Roof's arms, "I want to ensure my condition."

"Why me?" Luo Fu hugged the board and couldn't laugh or cry.

"Because for now, you can only do odd jobs." Roman carried the box and walked towards Pali's house without looking back.

Rolf wondered why this sentence was so familiar.

Sounds like I heard it somewhere recently?

"I'm sorry, Rolf, Chimeramon is too dangerous, so you can only do odd jobs now."

Newt Scamander's face flashed before his eyes.

Luo Fu hugged the iron plate and waited miserably in the cold wind, while Roman closed his eyes and rested until late at night.

No need for an alarm clock, Roman rolled out of bed and sat up.

He slowly walked out of the house to the sound of Pali Zhentian's snoring and walked up to Luo Fu.

Luo Fu was waiting there with tears streaming down his face, "Change the shift, change the shift."

He handed the map board to Roman and walked toward the house, trembling.

Roman saw that the SUV had returned.

But Rolf, who didn't know how to handle it, could only let it stop there.

He tried to use the flying spell, but only a dozen silver pieces responded to his call.

He looked at the map board. The red dots on it had gone out, leaving only intricate blue moving trajectories.

These blue lines are obviously delineated within a range. And this range seems to be gradually shrinking.

He looked at the gaps between the blue lines—the apparently incongruous clearings and the colors that represented the jungle—and felt uneasy in his heart.

Some blue light spots flicker on and off, indicating that there are video records in these places.

Although shooting at night was unreliable, he had never considered such an extreme environment before, and it was too late to make on-site modifications.

Now he could only take a peek at this invisible opponent from the blurry image.

Is it the power of nature, or...

He didn't dare to think about it anymore and hurriedly packed up his things and returned to the house.

He spent the rest of the day staring at the blurry screen until daylight came.

And at this moment, in distant London.

The new edition of the Daily Prophet published a short article in an inconspicuous place:

"Should "criminals" be allowed to attend Hogwarts? 》

Signed - Rita Skeeter
