Chapter 30 Snake Track
A rustling sound came from the dense forest.
The rotten black mud mixed with newly fallen leaves were pushed away left and right, revealing the earthy yellow patterns in it.
A python that was twenty feet long raised its head from the ground and kept swallowing its blood-red core.
It can feel that the strong traces of the spell in the air have not faded away.
At least a dozen spells have exploded here.
Not far away, in a pile of leaves, lay a little wizard in wizard robes; and not far from him, a little wizard dressed as a Muggle was sitting under the tree holding a wand, his body splattered with blood.
It's a pity that its eyes can't see this scene clearly.
It can only swim towards the person with the strongest smell of blood.
In its perception, the people on the ground are dead and no longer pose any threat; but this guy whose whole body is filled with the smell of blood may be extremely dangerous.
The giant python squirmed with its body covered with black and yellow stripes, slowly wrapping around the little wizard's body.
He seemed to be trembling but unable to resist.
The python didn't feel anything unusual.
During its career, countless strong creatures have trembled in its embrace.
It felt the little wizard's trembling and tightened its strength slightly.
boom!
There was a silent explosion, and two bulky F-1 grenades exploded in the python's tight package.
Splattered scales and flesh were evenly scattered around.
Ripples appeared in the air, then shattered like glass, the protective spell faded, and Rolf Scamander's pale face appeared in the clearing.
Lying on the ground was naturally Roman, who was firmly protected by armor.
He stood up nimbly and tossed Rolf's wand back.
Rolf stood stunned until the wand struck him on the head.
"It certainly doesn't look like an ordinary python."
Roman looked around with his wand, and after a long time he picked up a small piece of minced meat, rubbed it on his fingers, and even brought it to his nose to smell it.
vomit!
Luo Fu couldn't help but started to vomit.
It's not that he has never seen animal carcasses before, it's just that he has never seen them so uniform.
And no one studied the bloody minced meat in front of him like stuffing.
"It can only be considered level 3X at most."
Roman clapped his hands as he defined Snake Jam.
Although Snake Sauce itself doesn't want to be defined in this way.
"Can you still leave?"
He turned to look at Rolf, who was retching, and waved his wand at him.
"If you don't want to be thrown here, you'd better follow me now."
Luofu reluctantly straightened up and wiped the corners of his mouth.
"What if it's not a python that comes, but a wizard?"
he asked with trembling lips.
"Then you who are firmly protected by the spell but don't have a wand are just bait." Roman shrugged, "Of course, I will attack him from behind; I am a very fair person."
"Now, where are we going?" Luo Fu gathered his energy and packed up his things.
"Go back the same way." Roman pointed at his map, "You go your way, and I'll go mine."
Rove quickly understood what Roman meant.
Because he found that the two people followed different routes on the map and always walked on the same road.
But they walked for a full hour, but still didn't see any familiar scenery.
"Sure enough." Roman's face looked ugly.
"How about trying to move on?"
Rove suggested a solution that was not a solution.
"I suspect this is a trap." Roman shook his head, "Wait for me here."
Roman tucked up his loose wizard robe, then ran up the tree in two or three steps and climbed up the trunk.
"Is there anything else you can't do?" Luofu asked weakly.
"Perm your hair, drink alcohol, and smoke." Roman's voice rang out from the canopy. He had already spotted the unexpected big tree and the eagles circling above.
Whose mountain eagle is like an early warning aircraft and is non-stop 24 hours a day?
"Show me the way."
The grapevine wand turned around in the palm of his hand and pointed steadily at the giant tree; it felt very comfortable casting spells in the woods.
Roman climbed down the tree trunk, but the wand in his hand turned halfway around, pointing behind him.
Rove didn't know what Roman had done, but it was obvious that the wand pointed to important clues.
He spoke excitedly:
"The wand will not be confused. We can follow it and maybe we can discover the truth about this jungle."
But he soon discovered——
Roman was looking at him like he was looking at a fool:
"Do you think this jungle is natural or man-made?"
"I don't quite believe this is man-made." Luo Fei felt uncomfortable being stared at, and quickly added, "But it doesn't seem to be purely natural."
Roman sighed and patted the bark residue on his hands, "Then guess, if someone uses the natural environment to arrange such a venue, then who is this person and what does he want to do?"
"I don't know, but he must be a clever wizard, and he definitely doesn't want to do anything good."
Luofu's speech became slower and slower, and his face became paler.
"Then you're asking-" Roman let the wand point behind him and strode in the opposite direction, "Run!"
They continued to trek in the jungle. The route on the map was no longer effective and could only be used as a tool to assist in judgment.
The water vapor in the forest became thicker and thicker, and a smile finally appeared on Roman's face.
Luofu followed behind pitifully, not daring to express his anger.
He has realized that dealing with the jungle and dealing with magical animals are two different things.
"We're almost to the beach."
Roman could already feel the water vapor in front of him, and the smell of forest wind and sea breeze were completely different.
But this time, he may have spoken too early.
The woods disappeared and light filled the world for a moment.
A mirror-like calm lake appeared in front of them.
"People are bound to have times like this." Luo Fe smiled awkwardly and walked to the lake. "Do you think we need to take a detour? How deep is the water down here?"
Roman picked up a large stone and threw it into the water. Looking at the crystal clear water, he said helplessly:
"Mark Twain."
"What?" Luofu obviously didn't understand.
"About twelve feet!"
Roman put his wand into the water and picked up a little clear water.
It was the same as the river water I had seen before, but the smell of sea breeze in the air was unmistakable.
He looked at the lake seriously, wondering if he had overlooked anything while running away.
Suddenly, Luo Fei's shrill voice sounded from behind him.
"Passed out!"
He lowered his head suddenly and rolled on the spot.
A black shadow jumped out of the jungle and fell into the lake, causing big splashes of water. The red light emitted by Rolf missed it and shot into the air.
The mark it made was exactly where Roman's neck had been.
Looking at the giant snake swimming in the lake, it was about twelve feet long and showed its fangs from time to time.
Roman finally realized he had made a mistake.
A mistake he was unwilling to admit from beginning to end.
