Chapter 34 Gray Whale

"I still have to do it."

Roman looked helplessly at the chasing dementors.

A green spell burst into the tattered cloak of a dementor.

It retreated, its cloak shattered into pieces and turned into ashes, letting out a wail of pain and despair that scared even its compatriots away.

Looking at the dazzling green light, Luofu thought about many things.

The most profound thing is that - the Daily Prophet reported that a certain dark wizard killed his accomplices in advance in order to prevent their souls from being kissed away by dementors.

Roman was also a little surprised.

Before this, he had no chance to attack the Dementors with the Death Curse.

He did live in Azkaban for a while; he spent time with these guys and developed "feelings."

But even so, he couldn't tell whether there was a heart that could be regarded as life under the tattered robe.

Now it seems - the effect is outstanding.Although the dementor did not die immediately, it seemed to have been brutally tortured.

"Don't be stunned, start the broom quickly!"

Roman stuffed the limp Golden Snitch into his arms and pushed the unconscious Luo Fu.

"I……"

Luo Fe began to speak awkwardly. He nervously swung the oak arrow, and finally managed to get it to float quietly at the height of his waist.

He finally had time to think about what was wrong with the whole thing.

What happened between Roman and Voldemort after he fell into coma?

"How did we escape?" Obviously, his memory stopped before Voldemort possessed him.

"Nonsense, of course you showed your power and defeated Voldemort." Roman strode onto the broom and urged the driver to take off, "Quickly! I can't cast many spells."

Luo Fe felt that his whole body no longer belonged to him; he got on the broom stiffly and awkwardly kicked down the rocks, and the oak arrows shot up in response.

"That green light just now." He couldn't help but ask.

"Have you never seen green fluorescent flashes? When dealing with evil creatures like dementors, you must believe in light!"

Roman's expression did not change, and he turned around and shot out another green light.

Not far behind him, the dementors had returned to normal.

They no longer came in swarms, but instead evaded the spell and quickly surrounded him like a net.

The most important thing is that they really fly.

"Are you sure you want to die here now for such a trivial matter?" Roman yelled.

He didn't lie about one thing, he was running out of spells.

Rolf suddenly came to his senses, and the broom became flexible again.

It quickly broke away from the land and began to shuttle over the sea, leaving the coastline far behind.

"Fly high!" Roman commanded Rove to take off. He was sure that the Dementors' flying talent had shortcomings.

But Dementors aren't slow - it makes sense for the Ministry of Magic to send them to hunt down criminals.

Rowe stared at the dementors blocking his ascending route and felt the broom under him trembling continuously.

"Can your broom sense dementors?" he shouted almost incredulously.

"That's not important!" Roman had no intention of listening to him.

Luofu looked at the nearly blocked route and made a bold decision.

He flicked his broom and began to dive towards the sea.The dementors followed closely behind.

"What are you going to do?" Roman looked at the approaching sea level and began to feel uneasy.

"Don't worry, I will use a Longisian fake move." Rove said confidently, "Although your broom is a bit bulky, I won't get too close to the sea."

"What's Keith's fake move?" Roman didn't know anything about the terminology of Quidditch, but it felt vaguely familiar.

"Look at it, it's just a quick dive and then a pull-up! We can avoid them."

Rolf shouted under Roman's horrified eyes.

"From 1879 to now, you have seen several Oak Arrow 79s that can perform technical moves at full speed! Gulu, gulu..."

Before Roman could finish his words, the broom plunged into the sea water.

The dementors looked at the foaming sea surface, silently patrolling around it.

That disgusting robe was touched by the rolling waves, but not a trace of sea water touched it.

In their understanding, life like humans cannot breathe underwater.

Soon, a series of tiny bubbles rose to the surface.

They lowered themselves to satisfaction.

There were signs of things starting to rise on the surface of the water.

The Dementors confirmed.

Things in the water are moving faster and faster.

Suddenly, a shadow emerged from the depths of the ocean.

Accompanied by a roar that was almost inaudible to human ears, the giant light gray tail suddenly poked out of the water and slammed down with thunderous force.

The exploding seawater, accompanied by the hurricane, swept several dizzy Dementors into the deep seabed.

A gray whale over 11 meters long emerged from the sea.

Its whole body was covered with dense light-colored markings, as well as various patches composed of whale lice and barnacles. On the whale's back, Roman and Rolf were tightly hugging the hump-shaped bulge behind its body.

Despite the protection of armor and the blessing of closed earplugs, the two of them still looked pale.

The roar of the gray whale just now was no less than a large-caliber howitzer firing in his ears.

"What is this?" Luofu suppressed the feeling of nausea and vomiting.

"An old friend of mine." Roman opened his mouth and breathed in the seawater-soaked air.

Jin Feixia in his arms also poked his head out wetly. The sound just now almost killed this little thing.

Roman cast a bubble spell on the two of them almost as soon as they entered the water, but the big guy under him suddenly exploded the spell.

"This..." Luofu stroked the rough skin of the gray whale beneath him in disbelief.

Under the leadership of Newt, he once saw an Australian opaleye dragon; but even a fire dragon that could weigh several tons looked like a half-grown child in front of this gray whale.

Roman was not surprised, but regretted that his treasured oak arrows had disappeared into the turbulent waves.

He took out his grapevine wand, gently touched it on the gray whale, and using the remaining magic power, he began to peel off whale lice and barnacles from it.

"You're looking for me, right?"

"I can see that you have been to many places. You carry traces of different sea areas on your body."

Along with the wand, his voice transformed into an inexplicable rhythm, which was transmitted to the gray whale beneath him.

"It's amazing, you can communicate with animals!"

Rolf's eyes lit up, even Newt could only understand animals by their habits.

"No, I can't." Roman gave him a helpless look, "I'm just talking, it can't understand."

The gray whale beneath him splashed the water happily, and a light rain fell on the whale's back.

Along with the light rain, Luofu felt that his head was starting to feel dizzy again.

"Don't be so loud." Roman walked along the gray whale's slippery body to its huge head, and tapped its head lightly with his wand. "I don't want to be deaf."

"You shouldn't be able to hear whales talking - ugh!"

Luofu had already vomited it out. He calmed down for a while and applied an extra bubble spell on himself, which made him feel a little more comfortable.

"I can't hear it, but you should be able to feel it talking." Roman's expression was equally ugly.

The high-decibel infrasound waves from whales are not that easy to bear.Although this one is slightly better underfoot.

"I mean, why are you trying to lure it into talking." Luo Fu climbed on the back of the whale, barely holding his own.

"There's no way, no other whale can talk to it." Roman stroked the gray whale's head.

Given the size difference between the two, this action seems very funny.

"The poor guy is not on the same channel as anyone else."

Luofu seemed to understand this sentence, "You mean, it can't communicate normally with its own kind?"

Roman nodded and sat down cross-legged, "Although sometimes your brain is not working well, overall, you still have the potential to be a zoologist."

Then, he saw a change in Luo Fu's eyes.

This guy, who had always been uncomfortable with the life-killing curse since he saw him, finally lowered his head in shame:

"I'm sorry, I suspected that you were being treated by Voldemort... but Voldemort will not treat you like this..."

Roman sighed, ignored him, and continued to clean the barnacles off the gray whale.

After all, what can you argue with a fool?
