Chapter 4 The Right Wand

The goblin stretched out his hand, and Jellal handed the key over and inserted it into the keyhole. Jellal heard a "click" sound.

It seems that the mechanism in the door is working.

With a "click" sound, the door opened a gap, and the little goblin pushed the door open hard.

Stand next to the door so that Jellal can enter smoothly.

Jellal looked at the dozen boxes in the vault and the scattered silver coins piled in piles on the ground. He was a little stunned. There were so many...

Mag looked at the boxes inside. There were seven or eight boxes specifically for gold galleons, and there were two larger boxes. He didn't know what was inside.

"Jeral, these are left to you by your parents. Do you want to take them away?"

Uh……

Jellal was a little helpless, "Professor McGonagall, I think I can just use it as I please. Such a large amount..."

When he said this, Jellal looked helpless. He had saved a lot of pounds and already thought it was a lot of money, but seeing this, it simply overturned his cognition.

This is only the property of his parents, so the financial strength of the Dilaps family is immeasurable.

"Sorry, here is a storage ring that Mr. Casa gave me. You can see if the space inside can be used. This is what your parents got in a foreign country, and it is also the compensation given to you by the Dilaps family. Also These fifty gold galleons are the living expenses given to you by the family. In addition to what you deserve, Mr. Kasa also gave some more."

Mag handed him a simple-looking ring. Jellal narrowed his eyes. This ring... originally belonged to him.

The ring can absorb free energy in the universe on its own. If the energy is sufficient, it can be used for many purposes. However, it is obvious that it has consumed almost all the energy. Now it can only use the folding space.

What's more, the gene-bound ring cannot be used by others. Casa Dilaps can see that it is a storage ring, and its strength cannot be underestimated.

However...it seems like Jellal doesn't value Jellal that much by using a possibly useless ring as a favor.

As for the fifty gold galleons, it was one month's living expenses, and the thirty gold galleons were specially added to him by Kasa from his own small treasury.

After putting away all their things, the two of them walked out of the door as soon as the goblin pushed the door shut, locked it, and handed the key to Jellal.

Jellal was a little confused, so the short goblin said, "Vault 913 belongs to you, we are only responsible for keeping it."

Good guy, does this count as buying a piece of land in Diagon Alley, doubling your net worth?

After leaving Gringotts, Jellal was considered a wealthy man and began to purchase the things he needed.

Diagon Alley is still a really prosperous place. Everything a wizard needs can be found here, including food, clothing, housing and transportation.

Occasionally, one or two wizards can be seen riding broomsticks in the sky. Countless people on the road wear colorful robes, and the most commonly worn ones are black wizard robes. The wide hats can cover most of the face.

So... wizards all look pretty white?

Maybe... probably... maybe this is the reason.

Along the way, Jellal bought most of the things, except for a pet and a wand.

Fortunately, on the way to the wand shop, Jellal met a long-tailed bird, a white bird with a tuft of red feathers on its head. It shook its head from side to side and looked at everyone coming and going.

"It's not a good choice."

When Jellal proposed to buy this bird as a pet, Mag didn't agree with it. This bird was not a known creature, maybe it was just a descendant of a mortal bird.

It is not as sensitive and delicate as an owl, nor as innocent as a cat, but in Jellal's opinion, at least it is much stronger than a toad, and most importantly, it is flexible enough.

Looking at the white bird standing on his shoulder, Gerald gave it a name - Pearl Delaps.

Perle Pearl is really a good name, and it goes well with its color.

The two men didn't dwell on the matter for long, as they were already at the door of Ollivander's Wands, which had been crafting fine wands since 382 BC.

"Jeral, I have something to do. I have to go to the Leaky Cauldron. You can go in and pick out your wand."

Mag seemed to have received a letter, and after just taking a glance at it, the whole letter burned, but Jellal was sure that she had read the contents of the letter clearly.

Jellal nodded and glanced at Mag as he left. He opened the door and the wind chimes at the door rang.

The shop is very small, and the wands are packed into a small box, so densely packed that it almost reaches the ceiling.

Ollivander stared at Jellal with a pair of silver eyes.

"Oh, dear Mr. Wizard, what kind of wand do you want?"

All the people who come to his shop seem to have nothing to do except buy wands. After all, as one of the three largest wand makers in Europe, he doesn't seem to have many friends.

"What a unique smell..." Jellal said to himself. He smelled many different smells that he had never been exposed to before, and they seemed to contain different types of energy.

"Mr. Ollivander, I know very little about wands."

Jellal didn't know how he should choose, but there was definitely nothing wrong with asking Ollivander.

Ollivander glanced at Jellal and determined the length of the wand that Jellal could use.

"You can choose between eleven to eleven and a half inches of wands. I'll bring two over for you to try."

Ollivander walked inside and pulled out the box, taking out two wands.

"Made from beech, the inner core is unicorn hair. It's eleven and a half inches long. Try waving it..."

He handed the wand to Jellal, who sniffed it at the end of his nose. It turned out that the smell of beech had a hint of pine wood, while the unicorn hair smelled more like cat hair that hadn't been bathed in a long time.

Jellal waved his wand vigorously, only to create a whirlwind around him.

Ollivander nodded, "It seems that the wand has chosen you, but this wand is not suitable for you..."

"Mahogany, made of the reverse scales of the fire dragon, eleven inches long..."

Jellal held the reddish-looking wand in his hand. There were some spiral patterns on the hand, which extended upward, but did not reach the body of the wand.

It felt good in the hand. He just waved it lightly, and all the wand boxes were automatically pulled out and opened. All the wands flew out and stayed in front of Jellal.

Like soldiers waiting for review.

Ollivander looked at this scene and murmured, "It's amazing! God..."

Jellal didn't know what to do. He thought it would be nice if these wands could fly back by themselves. Just a thought. He unconsciously waved the magic wand in his hand, and all the wands flew back automatically.

“Looks like this is it!”

Ollivander spoke.

When Jellal walked out of the shop, he had a wand in his hand. He did not put it in the ring, but played with it in his hand. He just felt that everything was too novel.
