Chapter 28: Identity

in the training room.

Arthur looked solemnly at Baribone aside, his wand had been unknowingly switched to his left hand.

At this time, his mind was filled with only one thought: He found me!

The two looked at each other in silence, the air in the training room almost freezing.

Barebone's expression did not change at all.

There was no imaginary attack, nor was there any perceived malice.

After a long while, Baribone's lips moved and he said, "It seems your stomach is healed, Mr. Curry?"

"It seems so, Professor."

Arthur's tone was calm, no longer hesitant as before.

He felt that there was no point in pretending anymore. He wanted to see what the Defense Against the Dark Arts professor from Durmstrang wanted to do.

With the ring in hand, even if you can't beat him, you can still outrun him.

He didn't think that the various counter-spells in Hogwarts Castle could stop the disapparation cast by the ring, and he could leave at any time.

But Barebone's eyes kept moving on Arthur's face, not even glancing at his hands.

He said calmly: "Then why don't you step forward and try to deal with that Boggart?"

Arthur squinted his eyes, a little confused as to what medicine he was selling in his gourd.

Baribone continued: "Now that you have stepped into this door, you must be prepared to face everything. Instead of shrinking back and just thinking about escaping and running away."

"At the same time, you must have a careful mind, and you must not act recklessly or care about the head rather than the tail."

"Mr. Curry, most people's fears come from the unknown. I hope you can overcome it, understand it, and control it!"

"If you're not ready, I can give you a chance to quit and just pretend this never happened."

Barebone stared into Arthur's eyes and said these words with deep meaning.

The other students were confused.

It sounds like the professor thinks Arthur is too timid to face Boggarts. If Arthur continues like this, the professor will let him drop out of school!Exit the gate of Hogwarts!

Nesta stood in the team, looking at Arthur worriedly, as if he would be expelled in the next second.

"I understand, Professor," Arthur said softly.

"So what's your choice?" Barrybone nodded gently.

Arthur didn't speak, but he told Baribone his decision with his actions.

He took a step forward and stood in front of the big black dog, whose mouth was bound and rolling on the ground.

Then, the big black dog's body blurred and began to change.

Arthur stared intently ahead at the boggart that was about to become the thing he feared most.

He understood that what happened during this period really panicked him, so much so that he was eager for quick results and often made mistakes before he had a detailed understanding of the situation.

Now that I think about it, the cover-up of Professor Flitwick was actually a bit of a cover-up!

The best solution is to stay calm and do nothing. What has already happened will leave traces no matter how you cover it up!

Now, he must face his inner fear!Even if he pays the price for it, he must figure out what he is afraid of!

Oh, the 'owl' is myself! Why should I be afraid of myself? !

The Boggart's transformation was completed almost instantly. Arthur's eyes widened and he saw a colorful vortex!

He was too familiar with it. It was the passage to the Holy Knights Association on the first floor of the tower!

Just as the hall and various portraits were about to appear behind him, Barrybone moved his finger, and a touch of darkness appeared silently, flashing past the vortex!

Too fast, like a person's shadow flashing!

The Boggart trembled for a moment and turned into Snape again in an instant! !

'Snape' stood in front of Arthur, looked at him condescendingly, and shouted: "Ten thousand points from Hufflepuff!!!"

Arthur was stunned.

All the little wizards in the audience took a step back and gasped. It turned out that it was Professor Snape that Arthur was afraid of!

It's so... so terrible! ! !

"It seems that you are very dissatisfied with Professor Snape, Mr. Curry. I will tell him on your behalf. I hope he can be gentler to you next time in Potions class." Barebone said with a little teasing in his tone.

"Uh..."

It's strange that Arthur would be gentle when he slapped his forehead! He has already ignored me, you have to find something for me! !

But just now, Professor Baribone should have influenced the Boggart, causing it to transform into Snape's appearance.

So he actually means no harm to me?Could my guess be wrong?Arthur thought secretly.

Then, Arthur picked up the wand, pointed it at 'Snape' who was still clamoring for [-] million points, and recited a spell.

The black robe on 'Snape' instantly turned into a pleated skirt! The greasy hair was permed into big waves! The gloomy face is covered with heavy makeup and a bit of shyness!

Uncle becomes aunt!

Not to mention, Snape in disguise is quite cute~

vomit~

"Hahahahaha!"

The students behind them burst into laughter. They tried hard not to laugh too loudly, lest the Boggart would be wiped out in ashes, but they couldn't help it!

Only Nesta thought to herself that what happened this time would definitely reach the ears of Professor Snape, and Arthur would be finished! ! !

"Okay, everyone." Barebone stopped the little wizards from laughing. Boggart was already trembling. He said, "The first few students are outstanding. The rest of them, please continue."

With the demonstrations by Arthur and others, others have become familiar with this creature and no longer feel afraid.

So they took turns to 'challenge' this poor Boggart!

Everyone is afraid of all kinds of strange things. Some people are afraid of dragons, some are afraid of spiders, and some are actually afraid of girls! !

The male classmate shyly turned the girl into a handsome boy in the same class, and then hugged her. Everyone looked disgusted and stayed away from him!

Arthur coughed dryly. He didn't expect Hogwarts to have a back mountain...

What he didn't expect was that it was herself that Nesta was afraid of!

When it was finally her turn, the Boggart turned into a girl exactly like her, except that the girl's face was covered with red markings and her expression was gloomy!

Nesta turned pale with fright and almost fainted. Arthur hurriedly stepped forward to support her, but Barebone took action in time and eliminated the Boggart.

Nesta calmed down in Arthur's arms for a while and then returned to normal, but no matter what Arthur asked, she remained silent.

All in all, the first Defense Against the Dark Arts lesson had some minor flaws, but overall it was quite enjoyable.

Most importantly, Arthur benefited a lot and gained a lot.

Barebone's previous actions didn't seem like he wanted to harm him, but more like a way to confirm each other's identities.

So what exactly is Baribone trying to do?

Moreover, the black irregular object that appeared when Barrybone was dealing with the Boggart, as well as his dissatisfaction with Dumbledore, gave Arthur some guesses about his identity.

Before get out of class ended, Barrybone asked Arthur not to forget about the confinement in two weeks.

Arthur understood instantly.

So what needs to be done now is to maintain normalcy and wait quietly. All questions may be revealed in two weeks...
