From Karma Taj to Hogwarts

Chapter 52 Leaving the Dungeon

Unknowingly, it has been two months since Sivan arrived at Hogwarts, and tomorrow is Halloween, November 1st.

However, the country does not have a tradition of taking a holiday on Halloween, so the little wizards still have to go to class as usual the next day after enjoying the large banquet tonight.

On Halloween, not only the wizards in the castle have a grand banquet, but many ghosts also hold their annual fanatical party on this night. This is a festival that truly belongs to them.

It was also that night that Dumbledore entered the castle dungeon.

After coming down the spiral staircase that connected to the entrance courtyard, he originally thought that he would be greeted by a dark, humid and harsh environment. As a result, the situation underground was unexpectedly clean, and it seemed that there was still some fragrant floral fragrance in the air.

Walking in the direction of the dungeon, there were many brand new torches planted around. The further we walked in, the brighter the corridor became. The dungeon room where Ghost Xiwen is located is even filled with flowers, and the aisle between the flowers is even covered with a beautiful blue-purple carpet!

Helena is floating beside the flowers, surrounded by the rich fragrance of flowers. Her beautiful face and fragrant flowers complement each other, which is particularly beautiful and moving.

The ghost Xiwen floated lazily above the luxurious sofa, sitting and lying down, admiring Helena's slim figure and face as beautiful as a flower.

"It seems that Mr. Strange is doing well?" Dumbledore looked at this scene in surprise and asked.

"Thank you." Xiwen replied lazily.

Helena nodded slightly to Dumbledore and said hello.

"If you can go out, do you two have any ideas to attend the ghost's Halloween feast tonight?" Dumbledore asked with interest.

"Will Principal Dippet allow me to go out?" Xiwen raised his eyebrows with an expression of disbelief.

"The professors discussed it and concluded that we have no evidence after all that Mr. Strange is the murderer who destroyed the magic node. It is against the rules to deprive you of your freedom," Dumbledore said. "It would be extremely inhumane if you were no longer allowed to attend the annual gathering of ghosts."

"You also know it's against the rules!" Helena sneered and said coldly.

Dumbledore could only give an apologetic look, looked at Sivan and asked: "It is never comfortable to stay in one place for too long, no matter how well the place has been renovated. Mr. Strange is really Don’t you want to go out for some fresh air?”

"Who said I don't want to go out?" Xiwen said as he floated up from the sofa and came to the door of the dungeon. "Of course I can't miss the chance to go out."

Dumbledore nodded, and then added: "But I need your promise not to leave the Ghost Hall throughout the night. Can Ms. Gray help with supervision?"

His last words were said to Helena.

Helena nodded casually and said, "Don't worry, I won't let him leave my side!"

This sentence had quite another meaning. Xiwen couldn't help but blush when he heard it, and Dumbledore even showed a joking expression, looking back and forth between the two of them.

"Ahem, Professor Dumbledore, can you undo the spell?" Helena was thin-skinned and couldn't stand Dumbledore's teasing eyes, so she said in a voice that was like a mosquito.

Dumbledore smiled considerately, took out his wand and touched the transparent barrier, and a hole about the same size as the dungeon door expanded on the barrier.

"Mr. Strange, please!" Dumbledore stretched his left hand diagonally to his side and signaled Sivan to come out of the dungeon in a very gentlemanly manner.

When Xiwen floated out of the dungeon, he felt like he was in another world.

Unknowingly, I have been staying in the same room for almost two months. I even feel a little uncomfortable leaving the room, as if I have lost the sense of security.

At this time, a soft and cold body crashed into Xiwen's arms, bringing a full sense of security.

Normal ghosts can touch each other, but still have no sense of touch or sensation. But Xiwen's soul body is different. He can feel the cold temperature of Helena's body. This is a strange feeling of soul blending.

He froze for a moment.

"Ahem—" Dumbledore coughed lightly next to him. "I think it's time for us to get going."

Helena let go of Sivan shyly and hid behind him, thinking that this would block the sight of Dumbledore, an outsider. But she forgot that the ghost itself is transparent...

Xiwen smacked his lips, somewhat recalling the feeling of the two hugging each other just now. It wasn't until Dumbledore reminded him again that he came to his senses and followed the spiral staircase leading to the entrance courtyard.

Dumbledore is walking on the stairs, and Sivan and Helena are floating upward in the circular gap surrounded by the stairs. The scene feels very strange.

Dumbledore seemed to find the atmosphere awkward as he walked around and said, "Mr. Strange, do you know that you are special?"

Xiwen was stunned for a moment and replied: "I am indeed quite special. The way to become a ghost is different from normal."

Dumbledore shook his head and said: "I'm not talking about the way you became a ghost, nor the special way you can cast spells, but you have a unique charm."

"Charm?" Xiwen looked confused and didn't understand what Dumbledore was talking about, so he could only say. "If this is a compliment, thank you for the compliment, Professor."

"Hahaha." Dumbledore laughed heartily and said happily. "It can be understood that way, but what I mean is more about your ideological realm. Your thoughts seem to be different, as if they are beyond this era."

Having said this, Dumbledore took a deep look at Sivan. At the same time, a silver light suddenly flashed across his glasses, making Xiwen startled.

‘Do my daily actions reveal anything? Or is it that he has seen through my origins? ’ Xiwen thought with some fear, but he really didn’t know what went wrong. Could it be that Dumbledore had manipulated the Ghost Spell to eavesdrop on his conversation with Helena?

‘Maybe I’m overthinking. ’ He regained his composure and forced himself to smile calmly: “Maybe it’s because I’m from the East, and the two sides’ ways of thinking are different.”

"Maybe." Dumbledore smiled noncommittally.

Silently all the way, one person and two ghosts came to the dark door of the ghost hall underground in the main tower.

"I sent you here." Dumbledore said to the two of them. "Mr. Strange, remember not to leave the hall and stay with Ms. Gray at all times. After the banquet is over, I will personally take you back to the dungeon."

Xiwen nodded, and together with Helena, they passed through the dark and heavy bronze door and arrived inside the ghost hall.
