It wasn't long before Old Barty returned with Bagman.

There was no problem with the live broadcast equipment; it was the camera at the bottom of the lake that had a problem.

It is difficult enough to find 13 hidden cameras that were destroyed at the same time in an instant, not to mention that they are at the bottom of the lake where the water pressure is relatively high. This is not something that an ordinary wizard can do.

After old Barty and Bagman sat down, they always looked at Karkaroff intentionally or unintentionally.

Maxim thought about it for a moment and then began to doubt it.

Karkaroff's eyes widened. "You doubt me?"

Dumbledore shook his head, "I really can't do that, so can we focus on our job as referees? The warriors will be back on shore soon."

What can Karkaroff do if even the strongest wizard can't do it?

But this does not mean that he is completely clear of suspicion. The identity of a former Death Eater will follow him for the rest of his life, and the Dark Mark on his arm cannot be erased just by wanting to.

Barty Sr. and Bagman stopped looking at Karkaroff suspiciously, and Madame Maxime turned her attention back to Fleur.

Although the warriors have successfully rescued the hostages, the challenges waiting for them are not just the mermaids at the bottom of the lake.

Grindylow is very good at sneak attacks, and it is quite troublesome for the warriors to deal with the hostages they are carrying.

Bagman was slightly stunned, "They were all elite members of the ministry. I don't know what happened to them."

Old Batty and Bagman looked at each other and hurried over to find out what was going on.

The Aurors' safe return proved that Vincent had resolved the matter.

It's a pity that they failed to catch the Death Eaters, but they did get important information that they were hiding in the Ministry of Magic.

The situation is becoming increasingly serious, and even Fudge may be replaced.

Dumbledore stood up and walked over to Harry, who was wrapped in a blanket.

After drinking the hot soup, his complexion looked much better.

Not long after, Old Batty and Bagman returned.

The principals also came back after checking on their students.

The five referees gathered together to discuss the Warriors' scores.

After a not-too-long wait, Bagman stood up calmly in front of the live camera.

The stands suddenly became quiet.

Bagman paused and looked back at Old Batty. "Due to equipment failure, the footage from the bottom of the lake was suddenly interrupted."

"But..." He motioned the camera to focus on the Aurors who had returned from the Black Lake, "But nothing serious happened. The mermaid leader, Mercus, suddenly fainted due to health reasons, and he quickly resolved the misunderstanding after waking up."

Is that really all there is to it?

Obviously, not many people would believe what he said, but since all the Warriors have successfully passed the second project, not many people would care about the truth behind it.

Next came the warriors' scores, out of a total of 50 points. First up was Krum, who was the first to return to shore.

"Viktor Krum used Transfiguration, which was not particularly complete, but still very effective. We give him 45 points."

Karkaroff clapped his hands particularly vigorously, looking very proud of himself.

Then came Harry who came back second.

"Harry Potter was able to breathe underwater with the help of the alchemical glasses. He was the first and only warrior to be attacked by a mermaid. He wisely chose to retreat and successfully brought the hostages back despite his continued hypothermia. Therefore, we also give him 45 points."

The little lions in the stands burst into thunderous cheers, especially Sirius and Lupin from the guest side.

Harry's performance was obvious to all. If it were any other student, he would have fainted long ago.

Next is Hibiscus.

"Fleur Delacour's use of the Bubble Head Curse was excellent. Although she was a little embarrassed when she was attacked by Grindylow, she was able to resolve it successfully. We give her 40 points."

When it was Draco's turn, Lucius and Narcissa in the stands raised their heads proudly.

"Draco Malfoy used powerful magic props and confidently and calmly helped Viktor Krum rescue the hostages, but since he returned to the shore last, we can only give him 35 points."

The scoring ends here, and the live camera is once again focused on Bagman.
