Chapter 823: The Problems Plaguing the Greek Ministry of Magic

Minister Astrid is a middle-aged witch in her forties.

But unlike most Ministers of Magic, her office was not exactly clean and tidy.

There were mountains of documents everywhere, some of which were even hung on the statues of successive Greek Ministers of Magic.

The robe she usually wore when going out was casually placed on the gorgeous bench carved from expensive fir wood. A few bottles of potions were placed on the wool blanket embroidered with exquisite patterns, and a ball of paper would occasionally be thrown on the cluttered desk.

"Knock Knock-"

The knock on the door made Astrid look up from her desk processing documents.

Perhaps the clutter on the table was too annoying, so she pulled out her wand and threw them all near the statues of past ministers.

"come in."

The door was opened from the outside, and Vincent and Hermione were once again "deeply shocked".

Astrid signaled the staff member leading the way to leave with her eyes, and then continued to look down at the documents on the table.

"Mr. Wayne, Miss Granger, please take a seat."

The two of them looked around the office several times, and finally came to the fir-wood bench, picked up her robe and sat down again.

Astrid quickly wrote a line of small words on the document. She looked up and saw that after the two of them sat down, she found a piece of parchment from the pile of miscellaneous items and wrote a line of small words on it.

Then she took her wand and tapped the parchment, transforming it into a small Pegasus that flew out of the office.

Not long after, a Ministry of Magic staff member brought tea.

He skillfully moved a coffee table from the corner and placed it in front of the two people sitting on the fir bench.

Astrid took a sip of the saffron tea he handed her and continued to work on the documents.

As she wrote, she apologized to the two of them, "I'm really sorry, there's a lot we have to deal with lately."

After all, we are in Greece, and it is a hot summer now, so magical creatures are particularly prone to rioting.

However, judging from the "spectacular" scene in her office, the actual situation is probably far more serious than imagined.

Greece has always been regarded as the birthplace of Western magic, and the magical animals living here are the most abundant in the world.

The Cyclops, who is taller and stronger than the trolls, the fire-breathing Chimera with a lion's head, a goat's body, and a dragon's tail, the Griffin, the natural enemy of the centaurs, the cruel and greedy harpy, the Siren, who is good at using her singing to confuse Muggles, the extremely poisonous Hydra, the Minotaur, who has the head of a bull and the body of a man and a particularly bad temper...

Pick any one of them at random, and they are all magical animals with at least a danger level of XXXX.

It's really not easy for Astrid to deal with all these bad things.

Vincent and Hermione exchanged glances and decided to make a quick decision so as not to waste too much of her precious time.

As time went by, more and more small pieces of paper were thrown on the desk.

Nearly an hour later, Astrid finally breathed a sigh of relief.

She stretched herself ungracefully, then picked up her wand and tapped the processed documents, turning them into little Pegasus and leaving the office.

After finishing all this, she stood up and walked towards the fir bench where they were sitting, pointing her wand at a corner full of clutter.

"Sorry for keeping you waiting."

She sat on the chair that flew from the corner, "You two, we can finally have a good talk."

Vincent nodded to Hermione, "Minister Astrid, the main reason we're here is to work with the Greek Ministry of Magic to broadcast this year's Quidditch World Cup."

Hermione handed the plans to her.

It's not just about broadcasting events, there's also a series of collaborations around magic base stations.

Astrid flipped through the pages quickly. "Mr. Wayne, I believe you are aware of the situation in Greece. We cannot send too many people to help you set up base stations."

Hermione glanced at Vincent, and after getting his nod, she suggested to him, "Minister Astrid, setting up a magic base station is actually not that difficult, you can rest assured."

If it really doesn't require too many people, broadcasting the Quidditch World Cup will only benefit the Greek wizarding community.

She had also heard about alchemical products, which were little gadgets that could greatly improve the quality of life, so she would naturally strongly support their entry into the Greek market.

As for the cooperation with the magic base station...

Astrid put down the plan and said, "You two, it's not that I don't trust your Wayne Enterprises, but most of the alchemists in our country are assisting in the appeasement of magical creatures."

She sighed helplessly, "I know very well that the magic base station will usher in a new era, but we currently don't have much spare energy to invest in the development of new alchemy equipment."

Just like the situation in the Italian wizarding world where the level of alchemy is a bit low, Wayne Enterprises can actually provide design plans, and the Greek Ministry of Magic only needs to produce according to the drawings or make improvements.

But it's okay if it happens once or twice, but if it happens too many times, it will inevitably lead to a monopoly situation.

If Vincent breaks with them in the future, the monopoly will become a good excuse to attack Wayne Enterprises.

Hermione certainly understood this. After a little thought, she advised:

"Minister Astrid, the uses of magic base stations are actually more than what is stated in the plan. The large-scale magic projection used for broadcasting can actually project realistic effects."

Vincent understood immediately. He pulled open his sleeves to reveal the magic communicator on his wrist. "Yes, I believe this function can definitely help you."

In front of Astrid's horrified eyes, a chubby owl suddenly flew out from the bracelet he was wearing.

Vincent's hand passed through the projected coo, "Minister Astrid, this clarity should be realistic enough, right?"

Clarity is one thing, but the key is smoothness without any sense of lag.

Hermione quickly struck while the iron was hot, "With our technical support, I believe we can greatly improve the efficiency of calming magical creatures."

Most animals have natural enemies, and magical creatures in the wizarding world are no exception.

Even if there are no natural enemies, they can always find a way out by using magic projections to create lifelike images.

For example, a one-eyed giant monster, which has the same low IQ as a troll, can be trapped by luring it into a trap.

Another example is projecting a member of the opposite sex to calm the Minotaur temporarily, so that there is no need to rely on a large amount of magic to suppress it.

Astrid became more and more excited as she listened.

Although the problem that has plagued the Greek Ministry of Magic for countless years cannot be completely solved, its difficulty has finally been simplified a little.

As more new alchemical equipment is developed, the task of pacifying the riots of magical creatures will only become easier.

Hermione saw her expression at this moment and immediately took out the parchment to draft a cooperation agreement.

When she finished she gave it to Astrid.

The terms were fine and both parties signed their names.

Witnessed by Vincent's caduceus and Astrid's wand, the cooperation agreement on the parchment was officially transformed into a magic contract.
