This Hogwarts is not normal

Chapter 874: Living in the same dormitory, close friends who have been through hardships together

Draco was back less than half an hour after he left, and went back upstairs to his room without a word.

Lucius and Snape were still sitting at the dining table chatting, and only Narcissa noticed his abnormality.

As a mother, she guessed what must have happened just now.

She came upstairs and knocked gently on her son's door, "Draco, can I come in?"

There were some panicked noises in the room, followed by Draco's voice: "Of course, Mom."

Narcissa opened the door just in time to see her son sitting on the bed with his hands hidden behind his back.

She frowned slightly, came to sit beside him, and gently grabbed the hand he had hidden.

The back of my hand was a little red and swollen, and the skin was scraped off the joints. The same was true for the other hand.

Narcissa glanced at the desk drawer, which was not closed tightly.

She stood up and walked slowly forward, opened the drawer and found the healing potion that was also hidden.

"Mom, I just—"

"Apply the medicine first."

Narcissa moved very gently, afraid to accidentally hurt her son.

Draco pursed his lips and looked at her, feeling very annoyed that he had beaten up his two younger brothers before returning to vent his anger.

Those two are thick-skinned and tough, so no matter how hard they try, they will get hurt first.

After applying the potion, he looked away guiltily.

"Did you have a fight just now?" Narcissa's tone was not blaming, but full of worry.

Draco was even more upset. "No, Mom, I ran into Weasley and Wayne, and then I was in a bad mood, so I beat up Crabbe and Goyle."

Narcissa's eyes suddenly turned cold, "Did those dirty wild kids bully you?"

Draco nodded and shook his head honestly. "It's not bullying. The Weasley twins embarrassed me. Then I met Wayne and he made fun of me for a while."

Narcissa's expression softened, but her eyes were still cold. "You must stay away from them in the future. If there is any problem, let Crabbe and Goyle solve it. You are the heir of the family. Those wild kids are not worth your personal attention."

Draco understood the truth, but the Weasley twins spoke in a very sarcastic tone.

And Wayne, relying on the fact that he couldn't beat him, would make fun of him whenever he had the chance.

I held back today. If I hadn't gotten angrier and angrier thinking about it afterwards, I wouldn't have made my mom worry because of my injury.

"Mom, I understand."

Narcissa's eyes became extremely gentle as she straightened the collar of his shirt.

"Your father will be very busy for some time. If you encounter any trouble, you can ask Severus for help. He has promised your father that he will take good care of you."

Draco hummed softly.

He didn't think Snape would help him unconditionally. A small matter like being beaten up was fine, but if he wanted help, it would have to be something much more serious.

……

Opposite the Malfoy family's tent,

The twins who just came back from outside are boasting about their "great achievements".

With just a few words and a few moves, they broke down the defense of that annoying guy Draco.

"He clenched his fist tightly and was ready to hit us at any time."

"It's a pity that he held back, otherwise we would have seen foreign news reports about his family today."

If Draco had lost control and hit someone in front of foreign fans, no matter how powerful the Malfoy family was or how good the relationship between Lucius and Fudge was, it would have taken a lot of blood to settle the matter.

Not long after Vincent returned, he heard a more exaggerated version from James.

"Fred and George were playing cards when that annoying guy suddenly swaggered out from the crowd..."

His hair was pulled into a bald spot and his clothes were torn into strips. Even if he hadn't seen the other person's new look with his own eyes, he would not really believe the rumor.

Don't be fooled by Draco's arrogant attitude all day long, he is actually very good at judging the situation.

He might not dare to hit anyone in front of a group of British wizards, let alone foreign wizards.

That would only be possible if the twins said something too extreme and completely lost their minds.

"Old Zhan, your rumor-mongering skills are still as strong as before."

James curled his lips in boredom, "Lao Wen, how do you know that this has been processed by me?"

Vincent rolled his eyes at him. "Is there any event in school that has not been "processed" by you? You even described me as an ambitious man who wanted to be at the top of Hogwarts. I have not yet come to you to settle the score for this."

James touched his nose awkwardly, "Lao Wen, we are close friends who live in the same dormitory and have been through thick and thin together. You shouldn't be serious with me, right?"

"Adversity? What adversity have you shared?"

"For example, we endured Neville's snoring together in silence, or I shared with you the comic books I have collected over the years, and the love letters and gifts I wrote to you."

Vincent was so angry that he laughed, "Okay, okay, according to what you said, we are indeed close friends who have been through thick and thin together."

James secretly breathed a sigh of relief, "Of course, our friendship will last forever. I also want you to be the godfather of my future child."

Vincent shook his head in confusion.

He patted James' shoulder and said, "Wait until you find a girlfriend."

Hogwarts does not prohibit students from dating, so if you try hard, you can still find a partner before graduation.

James used his hand to push back his short bangs and said, "It won't be easy for me to find a girlfriend with my appearance."

Vincent pretended to be about to vomit, "James, I just realized that you are even more arrogant than Malfoy."

"What a smug bullshit! This is called confidence."

"Well, actually being overconfident is cocky."

"I...I..." James was speechless.

Just then, Hermione, who had just come downstairs, came over.

"What are you talking about?"

Vincent pointed at James and said, "Let's talk about whether LeBron is confident or cocky."

Hermione looked at James who ran his hand through his hair again.

A bit smelly indeed.

She looked at it carefully for a few more times.

"Uh... I think he's a little narcissistic, but not to the point of being cocky."

James was proud, "Did you hear that, Old Wen? You have poor taste."

Vincent looked at Hermione, then nodded at James, "You are too kind. James is the kind of person who will shine as brightly as possible when given a little sunshine. You don't need to save face when talking to him."

James snorted, "Old Wen, please don't slander me. At least I still know what I am talking about."

"Yes, there are, but not many."

"You sound like you said more than I do."

"A little more is a lot."

"Then you are almost like me."

Hermione heard the two people start to insult each other and couldn't help but chuckle with her hands covering her mouth.

She used to think that this kind of relaxed and happy daily life was very far away from her, but now that she has escaped from endless study, she finds that there are always interesting things happening around her.
