Chapter 910: Vincent's miserable life

Bagman squinted at the goblin Ferdie standing before him.

The patterns on the gorgeous golden armor flowed with a special magical power, which seemed to have some effect that allowed the wearer to pass through magic barriers smoothly.

"Ferdie, our cooperation ends here. Go back and tell Taber for me."

Bagman was moving forward past Ferdie, but he held out his hand to block his way.

"Ludo, does the Fairy Hall allow you to cooperate whenever you want and terminate cooperation whenever you want?"

"Oh?" Bagman's eyes were slightly disdainful. "I have to remind you that this is the Ministry of Magic."

Ferdie also looked disdainful, "What's so great about a place that allows Death Eaters to come and go freely?"

Although it was looking up, its large protruding eyes were full of momentum and intimidation. "Our influence spreads all over the world. What can a British Ministry of Magic do to us?"

Bagman laughed out loud, as if he had heard a very funny joke.

Ferdy's expression suddenly turned cold. "Is it funny? Ludo, I advise you to quickly figure out your position, otherwise in the end -"

"From what?" Bagman quickly drew out his wand and pointed it at the long, pointed nose sticking out of the helmet. "A bunch of low-level creatures dare to threaten me?"

Ferdie looked him in the eyes with horror.

There seemed to be a ferocious beast hiding there, as if it was ready to break out of the cage and pounce on it at any time.

"Ludo...you..."

"Go away now." Bagman put away his wand. "I will personally find your curator in a few days."

Ferdie stared blankly at his back as he walked further and further away, as if he had been successfully frightened.

"We will be completely liberated in a few days, and then we must find a bar to relax."

"You guys are fine. I haven't had a vacation in almost half a year."

The voices of conversation were getting closer, and Ferdie slowly placed his hand on the armor on his chest.

The exquisite patterns sparkle with silver light, making it disappear into the air little by little.

As the staff of the Ministry of Magic walked past, the quiet passage was suddenly filled with a series of "da da da" sounds.

It seems that the armor on Ferdie not only allows it to pass through magic barriers smoothly, but also has a function similar to an invisibility cloak.

September 8, evening.

There were still more than two hours until the final, but the entire stadium was already packed.

In the VIP box, Fudge was entertaining the heads of magical governments from various countries who had come from afar.

Minister O'Brienston of the Bulgarian Ministry of Magic was particularly high-profile today, wearing a noble black robe with gold thread.

Unlike his high-profile showmanship, the Irish Minister of Magic was extremely low-key. He exchanged a few pleasantries with everyone and then quietly sat in the front row seat.

Vincent and Sirius were there of course, and even Harry was invited.

"Minister O'Briensden, let me introduce you. This is Harry Potter, and sitting next to him is his godfather, Sirius Black."

Sirius and Harry were sitting in the corner peacefully, but Fudge came over with the Bulgarian Minister of Magic as if to show off.

"Hello." O'Brienden's English was a little stiff.

Harry responded particularly nervously, "Hello, Minister O'Briensden."

Sirius dropped his cynical attitude and greeted politely as well.

Fudge smiled widely, "Minister O'Brien, Sirius is the backbone of our British wizarding world. I don't need to say much about Harry. He, like Vincent, is our future."

Really just here to show off.

After more than ten minutes of polite conversation, Fudge took O'Brienston away.

Harry breathed a sigh of relief, being very uncomfortable with such occasions.

Sirius smiled and shook his head, "Harry, if you don't like this kind of occasion, we can actually go back to our own box."

"Uh...Is it really possible?"

"Why not?" Sirius nodded at Fudge, who was introducing the Malfoy family to O'Brienston.

"I think you've already seen that this place is full of hypocrisy. You don't need to consider what others think of you. You just need to do what you want to do."

Harry was confused. "But Vincent..."

Sirius glanced at Vincent who was surrounded like a mascot and said, "He is now the living signboard of our British wizarding world. You don't want to experience this feeling of being helpless, do you?"

Harry imagined it for a moment and shook his head. "The price of becoming a hero is too high."

Sirius shrugged. "That's what happens when you become too famous. But it's good for Vincent to be promoted as a mascot by Fudge. At least Wayne Enterprises will surely have smooth sailing in the future."

According to Muggle business thinking, a large multinational corporation with a monopoly nature is bound to have an influence no less than that of the government.

As for whether it would work in the magic world, that would depend on how much Vincent himself could grow.

At 7:, Vincent returned from a social event, exhausted.

As soon as he sat down, Sirius next to him joked, "Mr. Wayne, your seat seems to be in the front row."

Vincent rubbed his sore face and said, "I will go crazy if I continue to stay with those old men and women."

Sirius patted his shoulder gently and said, "There will be a celebration party after the game. Come on, young man."

Vincent slumped in his chair, not knowing whether to laugh or cry. "Ah... I really have a miserable life..."

Sirius was speechless.

He seriously suspected that Vincent was pretending, but he had no evidence.

Being famous is indeed a good thing, but being too famous may not be.

It is easy to be proud and complacent, easily arouse jealousy, have your every word and action monitored, and your private life becomes a mess...

It's already excellent that Vincent can control himself to the point where he is basically unaffected. If it were Dumbledore, who became famous at a young age, he would probably not be much different from him.

At 8 o'clock in the evening, the magic projections inside and outside the stadium stopped playing advertisements.

The huge light screens once again led the fans to review the history of Quidditch.

This time, the ending did not include any footage of flying boots, but instead featured highlights from this World Cup.

From the preliminaries in Italy to the qualifying rounds in France, and now to the finals in the UK.

The attack in the middle was mentioned briefly, and then there was the grand occasion at this moment.

The stadium, which can accommodate 10 people, is divided into two areas, the right side is bright red and the left side is dark green.

There were also crowds of people outside the stadium, and then the screen switched to the protagonists of tonight's game, the Bulgarian team and the Irish team.

"Ladies and gentlemen...welcome! Welcome to watch the 422nd Quidditch World Cup Finals!"

Thunderous cheers and applause suddenly resounded over the stadium, and countless bright red or dark green flags were waved by the fans at the same time.
