Hogwarts Wizarding Journey
Chapter 16 Exchanging Christmas Gifts with Hermione
During the Christmas vacation, Shelley did not choose to stay in school.
After he and Hermione had lunch, they left on the boat with the first years.
To Shelley's delight, the Christmas holiday was a real one and would not take away from the original weekend time.
Therefore, there are more than ten days of vacation in total, which is simply the most enjoyable vacation besides summer vacation.
At King's Cross station, the cold wind was blowing, and the train had not arrived yet.
On the train, Hermione handed Shelley a beautifully wrapped box.
"Christmas gift." She smiled brightly: "I'll give it to you in advance."
Shelley opened the gift in person, and it was a box of exquisite chocolates. "Oh, thank you my dear Hermione, I love it!"
"What 'my dear Hermione'?"
"By the way, where did you buy the chocolate?"
"You don't have to worry about it."
"My Christmas gift to you will be delivered on Christmas Day."
The train slowly pulled into the station, and the carriage fell into silence.
"Hermione!" Shelley.
"Ok?"
"Want a farewell hug?" Shelley's heartbeat accelerated slightly.
"No." Hermione stared hard at the white snow outside the window.
"Well, leave it for later." Shelley noticed her shining brown eyes and timid look.
"Merry Christmas!"
"Merry Christmas!" Hermione spoke very quickly, as if she was rushing to answer a question.
She became silent when she realized she was a little agitated.
They followed the other little wizards off the train.
Parents looked around in the station, and the first-grade wizards happily met their families.
Draco Malfoy glanced at them as he passed by, and then walked towards a man with pale blond hair, cold gray-blue eyes, and a pale, pointed face—that was his father, Lucius Malfoy.
Well, he doesn't look like a good person.
They exchanged a few words and disappeared into the crowd.
Suddenly, Shelley and Hermione met Shelley's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Joyce.
"This cute little witch is..." Mr. Joyce showed a big smile and was very happy in his heart: Shelley has inherited his excellent genes!
Mrs. Joyce gave Mr. Joyce a hard poke, and he instantly stopped smiling.
"Hello!" Mrs. Joyce smiled softly, "We are Shelley's parents..."
Mrs. Joyce was particularly enthusiastic, asking Hermione questions.
"May I know your name?"
"Hermione Granger." Hermione hid behind Shelley, shivering.
Finally, the Grangers came over.
As a result, the two pairs of parents quickly became familiar with each other.
Despite the friendly nature of the Grangers, Shelley felt a bit intimidated.
Mr. and Mrs. Joyce and Mr. and Mrs. Granger chatted happily and then said goodbye politely.
Hermione was teased by her parents about her relationship with Shelley, which made her want to find a crack in the ground and crawl into it.
……
The time has come to December 12th, Christmas.
Hermione got up from the warm bed early and stretched her limbs.
In her pink pajamas, her slender white hands rubbed her sparse eyes.
Close your eyes again, as if you just woke up from a good dream and want to pursue some aftertaste.
After a while, she came to.
"I wonder what gift Shelley has prepared for me?"
She ran downstairs happily.
The Christmas gifts are sitting quietly next to the Christmas tree.
Various small bells, small lanterns and other ornaments are decorated on the dark green leaves, making the Christmas tree look beautiful!
She opened the gifts and found that none of them were from Shelley.
"It probably hasn't arrived yet," Hermione thought.
Mrs. Granger saw Hermione squatting next to the Christmas tree gifts and said with a smile, "Are you thinking about the little boy yesterday? What did he give you?"
"He hasn't been delivered yet..." Hermione was stunned for a moment: "Absolutely not! It's impossible for me to miss him!"
"Okay, dear, I understand." Mrs. Granger smiled and headed towards the kitchen.
"Dong...dong...dong..." A gray forest owl tapped on the window.
"Leo!" Hermione stepped forward to open the window, and then took a beautiful gift box from the owl's talons.
"What could it be?" Hermione carefully opened the card gift box.
"Well, a copy of "The Tales of Beedle the Poet", it looks like it was hand-drawn." She held the book in her arms...
